Eydie was very friendly and knowledgable. She has a space in the back of the hair salon, the decor is cute. I got the chemical peel, for the first time. Eydie answered all my questions and made the experience as good as can be. She fans you while your face is burning from the chemical...which is very helpful! She mentioned she would call to check and see how I was doing later in the week. I never heard from her. I did not enjoy the chemical peel process at all, there is about a week downtime after you get it as your face is peeling. Perhaps gets better the more you do it. I will probably go here again but try something else. Update: I finally did hear from Eydie about two weeks later. She answered all my questions and was really nice. Also, while I did not care for the experience, the results were great. People noticed that my skin looked better and I noticed it was smooth and soft. I haven't had a lot of facials in my life, but this was by far the best. I had a facial earlier this year, and when the girl was doing the extractions, I wanted to scream. Eydie used something that made the extraction process a mild nuisance. Really. While I can't say that process felt GREAT, it didn't hurt, and it did not make me feel like screaming. The space was cute. Eydie is extrememly nice and professional. And, the best part was that at the end of my facial, my face was NOT all red and shiny like it has been after my other facials. Also, at the end of the facial, she told me what she thought about my skin, and asked me a couple of questions, and then gave me her recommendation; which the last girl didn't do. I've come to Eydie for a facial once and wax on a couple different occasions. I can confidently say that she gave me the BEST facial I have ever had. She is super considerate and gets the job DONE. When it came to extraction she was very thorough and sensitive to how I was doing (that stuff can really hurt!!). Not to be too detailed, but I have large pores that catch a lot of nasty LA air...at another place they told me 'Oh you should come back for another facial so we can get the rest of that out!' but Eydie straight up took care of that shht, no problem. The waxing was fine but I prefer to do it myself in my spare time (leg wax). Have not tried her other services... Usually I get my bikini waxes done by old ladies, I feel funny going to someone my age. Dunno. Just me. I also love that she uses Dermalogica. Thanks to her, I use the tinted moisturizer for daily wear. She has good tips for this busy young mom considering she has young ones herself! Her prices are perfectly reasonable for the quality delivered (unlike overpriced spa salons) but don't expect to be thrifty. It's your skin, c'mon guys, no use in being cheap. I would give Eydie 5 stars based entirely upon the variety of snacks and beverages available to me and the free wifi...and don't even get me started on the soothing ambient sounds in her spa. But then again I would give Eydie 5 stars if she were performing her services at a rest stop bathroom. She's incredible. I recently started a business and my monthly budget for self care has not been the most predictable....but I would never skimp on my lashes. SHE'S THAT GOOD. She is gentle and meticulous and gives you a new brush each time you get a fill. Oh and the lashes don't leave a weird residue that looks like bad mascara---I've been to a few places that left me with that. I've also gone to her for spray tanning and she made me look like I had abs! And the spray she uses doesn't give you that weird smell that will make your boyfriend hold his nose and say "maybe not tonight...". It spreads evenly and is organic! She is sweet and funny and her spa has a beautiful black and white aesthetic. And she doesn't talk your ear off. She flows with what her client is comfortable with. She lets me vent if I need to or sleep during the lash appointment (which can take an hour depending on the condition of the lashes). She is a goddess at scheduling too, I never have to wait and she works with me to move things around if something changes in my schedule. She cares about her clients and she genuinely loves what she does. I love Eydie, I love my lashes, I love the snacks. And if my new business fails because of my poor personal finance choices....at least I will have pretty lashes. Priorities! read more

i found DERMALUV thru my continued love for LivingSocial.com , it was for a chemical peel , i have wanted to try this over the years , but was a little hesitant because every time i think of Chemical Peels i think of that one episode on Sex and the City where Samantha get one and her face is raw and beat red .....i asked Eydie if i would look like that after she laughed because EVERYONE asks that , she assured me i would be slightly pink , kinda sun kissed after and would peel a little for the next couple of days and for the half off price , i couldn't resist ..............she also offers some package discounts on her site too ...looks like a great deal as well as the YELP-DEAL that is up right now , it's nice to save it where you can without compromising service. her little spa area is in the back of a salon and as i entered her space the decor was soooo cute and comfortable.
