But don't worry there isn't any additional charge. :) I definitely recommend this winery if you happen to be close-by. Or if you just want a change of scenery. I also loved that they offered more than just wine and beer. The wine slushies and fun drinks like piña coladas were such a hit and made the event feel especially festive. They were also extremely flexible and accommodating with logistics. They let us drop things off the day before, gave us plenty of time to set up, and even allowed us to store decor at the venue after the event so my family could come back and pick everything up a week later. That is such a rare accommodation and made our lives SO much easier. The property also had showers and getting-ready areas, which was incredibly convenient, and the staff was professional, kind, and helpful throughout the entire event. Overall, the venue was beautiful, flexible, reasonably priced, and genuinely easy to work with. I could not recommend the property or the team more highly.

Even the pours seemed careless. I know this is Gilroy and not Napa, but I still expected a welcoming experience and better wine service. Unfortunately, both the service and the wine itself were disappointing. The best part of this place was definitely the beautiful grounds, which would make a gorgeous wedding setting. It truly feels like you're hanging in your friend's backyard. If your friend just happens to make delicious wine and have beautiful westward views of the valley. There was music playing, no sense of urgency, and the namesake pooch Moose to occasionally provide a little company. The owner and head winemaker Rich and assistant wine maker Uli took their time explaining the process, the wines, and anything else you may think to ask. Rich even let us pick fruit from his citrus trees to take home. What a beautiful day and beautiful experience. We plan on going back in the fall for the harvest festival!
