It's a long winding road. The drive will test your mettle. But oh boy, it's worth it. This place is beautiful. Like the name, it makes you feel like you're in the French countryside. Very romantic. There was a wedding rehearsal taking place while we're tasting the chardonnay from a friendly host behind the counter who kept the juices flowing. The wine wasn't spectacular, but it wasn't your average wine either.

Came here with friends last weekend and while we had a good time, there were a few things that could have made our experience better. One of them being if the tables in the patio had been covered with table clothes instead of just plain. Some of them were and the others weren't which made it look less nice. Another thing was that even though we did the $20 tasting, it was a little inconvenient to have to be going back to the bar to select our next glass instead of selecting them right up front and have them with us at our table. We had to go back and forth and wait once it started getting packed with more people. Overall though it was a good time.

A great time for a great deal! Food: I didn't order any food but I DID order the wine flight! Wine flight: 5/5 While they did offer a limited selection of red and white wines, the total cost of the flight was around $20 for 5 glasses of wine which is a fantastic deal for wine tasting. The wines listed tend to be about 3 years or younger so there aren't any wines that taste complex. For me, a newbie at wine tasting, this was the perfect introduction! You're allowed to bring food on the premises which means.. you can bring your own charcuterie board. The staff are incredibly helpful in choosing which wines on the flight would pair with which cheese. Service: Helpful and fast! Staff are friendly and great at giving wine suggestions Ambiance: Beautiful small winery with a lovely outdoor area. I went when there was live music and local artist stalls.

Went with a group of friends on a Sunday they had live music. The entrance is nice and the views are amazing. The service was great, they were very nice. We were able to buy food there and realized we could have also brought our own snacks. It is a 21 and older only spot.

Best winery with easy walk ins and parking in the area. They are a french styled winery, so they only have non-sweet wines, but it was still a great experience for us. Came an hour before closing, and we quickly got our wines. Their $20 tasting package was a great deal and you can sit anywhere around the property. Staff does get busy, but we had no problem eventually getting our drinks. They don't have table service which was a bit disappointing, but it was nice to simply walk around and enjoy the views of the winery.

I had a chance to visit this winery for a friends wedding. The drive there was a winding country road down in Morgan Hill. Once you get there they have parking available and valet. The main entrance is nice, but the real beauty is when you go outside. The view was absolutely amazing! The back patio area had a huge open space with plenty of spots to sit. There was also a small bar down some stairs that had some chairs and areas to sit. The wine was delicious and they had several varieties of reds and whites. I was partial to the Christopher Cabernet Sauvignon, and for the white I loved the 2023 Designate Marsanne. Definitely something I'll be buying some bottles of in the future. The food at the venue... The FOOD AT THE VENUE... was insane. For weddings they have an incredible catering company, The Cellar Door Catering. the food was spot on. I had the beef medallions, the salad, the chicken, the bread, the rice, the... ok... I think you get the point. I had it ALL and I loved every bite. (except the salmon... not big on fish, sorry not sorry) ...and I can't leave out the staff, they were all amazing, and ultra attentive. Getting on drinks, prepping our plates, and keeping everyone's libations... filled! Definitely worth checking out for a big event, or just for some wine tasting!

This review is for the private event. We recently come here for a wedding. It is beautiful and so close to bay area! Service is good and food is amazing. Wonderful place! Parking is limited!

Wine tastings were affordable ($20 or $35). Lots of great places to sit with shade or umbrellas. The red wines were better than their whites in my opinion. My favorite was the 2018 Joli Meritage and bought the bottle to go! Tony poured us our wines and he was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely come here again!

Haven't been back awhile, winery's still beautiful as how it was! I came here on Wednesday afternoon and it was empty but I love it because everyone was attentive and you have the whole winery to yourself! This is probably the biggest and most beautiful winery in this area. Other winery does not had this much grapes vines through the ground. They are harvesting the grapes as I get a chance to go near it. The grapes was sweet! Everyone in the winery was great especially the one on the tractor picking up the grapes.

This winery is really beautiful and has great views! But that's not what made this place special. The people pouring for the tastings are really nice, very knowledgeable, and not at all pushy. I really like the way you get a card and can go in and get your next glass on your time. Most places have you drink it all at the bar. There's usually not enough space for that and you feel rushed. While we didn't try any food, they have a pretty great selection for a winery. We see charcuterie, flatbread, and other items. The wines were all pretty good. The reds are on the spicy and jammy side. For my tastes I liked the Pinot Noir, Cab Franc, and Zinfandel the best. Finally, there are many places to sit. From the large tables on the upper terrace to the small tables and benches around the grounds, there's no shortage of comfort. Just watch for the bird .

I absolutely love this winery. I'm a member at Clos La Chance and I really believe that you get your money's worth as a member. With my membership I just need to buy four bottles of wine per quarter and with that I will receive free flights up to four wine trees during each visit. So if I wanted to come every single day I can get four flights for free. I think that's an amazing deal. Also as a member during the Thursday night music sessions we have privileges to make reservations on the terrace. The grounds at this winery is absolutely beautiful. I'd have no reason to travel far to a place like Napa when you can go to a beautiful winery like this one. Here is my small gripe. I made reservations throughout the rest of fall, but because they've changed their process and do not take reservations any longer except for VIP wine tasting, it was an awkward experience trying to say I had a reservation today. But then again it turned out that my reservation was for the lawn. Which made absolutely no sense because why be on the lawn when they moved the music down to the Grove. An email to those people who made reservations would have been nice. Second really big gripe is the fact that I asked if we could use the bocce balls but I was told that because a covid they weren't allowing bocce ball yet. But then 2 hours later there were two guys who had the balls and borrowed them from the winery. When I asked them where they got the balls from they said you just needed to ask the right person. I thought that was in poor taste that I was told something totally different. Would be nice if they just treated everyone equally. Other than those small gripes I would have gave them five stars. But because of that four stars it is. At least for this visit.
