My husband knew the owner from working with him in the past and told me that we should stop by on our way home and do some wine tasting so I said sounds good. The staff here and the owner are fantastic! Very attentive and friendly. They have plenty of seating and it's just a lovely spot. All the wine we tried was really good. My favorite was the Rose. The next day I ended up going back with a group of girls and we all really enjoyed ourselves. This is a must stop if you are in the area. Highly recommend!

I came here on a double date with my parents and boyfriend to celebrate Mother's Day. My mom had been here before and raved about it so I was excited to visit! We had a Groupon for 4 which included tasting for four plus a glass of wine for each of us (good deal!). We arrived right when they opened so we were able to find parking pretty easily but by the time we left around 230, parking was packed and people were parking on the road. Because we also arrived pretty early, we were able to easily find a table to sit at. The winery is beautiful. There is a huge patio with tables (and umbrellas for shade), a huge canopy for more shade, a place to play bocce ball and cornhole, and music in the background. We tried 5 wines on the tasting menu plus a bonus pour of their red blend. I was very happy with the amount of wine they gave us to taste as well as the quality and taste of it all. Miramar has this really cool thing where instead of standing the whole time at the counter or somewhere like most places to taste, they have a cart that is pushed around to each table or group with all the wine on the tasting menu, so you don't have to stand up or anything! I thought this was a fantastic idea because I have brought my grandma wine tasting before and she can't stand for long periods and this concept makes it a lot easier to enjoy food (you can bring outside food!). The lady who was pushing the cart (I can't remember her name. Karyn?) was really sweet and friendly and even took pictures for my family. At the counter, I met Debbie who helped my mom sign up for her first wine membership! I also got to meet Ed, the owner. I absolutely love this place and can't wait to come back many more times!

Enjoyed this vineyard a lot! The staff was very friendly, the patio is spacious with plenty of seating, they have bocci ball and a grassy area for picnics, the wines were great, and they have a wine cart! The wine cart was my favorite part (besides the fantastic pinots!); the girl was super friendly and goes table-to-table refilling glasses based on little place cards you receive signifying where you are on the tasting journey, such an awesome idea, you don't even have to leave your seat to get a refill! They are kid friendly (much appreciated considering other vineyards like Sycamore are not) and you can reserve a table/tables for parties. The wine club is reasonable with some pretty fantastic perks - today's perk was barrel tastings and additional pours from Left Bend. Love this winery!

Super friendly staff but not the best wine in the area! The price is pretty good and it has an amazing outdoor area

Terrace at Miramar. Just getting started on my tasting schedule. The Staff here are Top Notch!

What a beautiful Facility! And the Staff were incredibly friendly as well as professional with their wine presentation. There was plenty of room to stretch out especially if you had a large group. Lots of tables chairs and area to relax with some wine or other beverage offered. Also, plenty of protection from the sun with "sunbrellas" and overhead covering. It was a perfect "terrace like" setting overlooking a valley while enjoying a game of Bocci Ball. I recommend to bring your choice of cheese, crackers/bread, meats or other snack items and stay awhile to enjoy the wine selection. The "Cab" was bold but not overstated while the Zin and Syrah were soft yet delicious. I look forward to our next visit! Thank you Miramar Vineyards for such a wonderful experience!

The grounds are wonderful, and the wines are red and great. Large outdoor area to sit, and a bocce ball lawn.

We found this vineyard on Groupon. We had a great experience!!! Very friendly atmosphere, great views and not bad wine!!! Owner himself was pouring wine and he was very pleasant and friendly. We had relaxing afternoon and enjoyed every minute of it!! You can bring your own food and have a nice brunch or lunch with the love ones!

Nice place to sip a glass of wine

$10 tastings, nice place to sit and sip a glass of wine if you're in the area. Wines average but affordably priced.

This past Sunday I visited Miramar winery to not only celebrate my birthday but to ask my family and close friends to be my bridesmaids. The owner and his staff were all so helpful, they were kind enough to help me set up my picnic. I was so grateful that they allowed me to do the beautiful set I had in mind. The winery has such a beautiful view with an incredible atmosphere and the most delicious wine. The Sangria was one of my favorites, not to strong at all. I can't wait to return. Thank you to all the wonderful staff.

Great wines; something for everyone's taste. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and pleasant. The grounds are comfortable and perfect for everyone, including families. Bring a snack and enjoy the wine and beautiful scenery.

Great experience! The view was nice. They had several outdoor tables with umbrellas which was perfect for having a picnic at. We bought bottles of Cabernet and Zinfandel and both were excellent. The staff was incredible. Overall amazing experience and we will come here again!

Ask the Community - Miramar Vineyards

Hi, do you allow Door dash deliviery and non-alcohol beverages such as soda, Juice, bottled water, etc ?…

Hello Pearla, Thank you for your question. We do allow DoorDash/Uber Eats delivery. Miramar provides all beverages. In addition to wine, we have a variety of sodas, water (still & sparkling), and 2 types of beer available for purchase.

    Is beer also sold?

Hello Hilary! Yes we offer 2 types of beer for purchase at the winery (805 Ale & Coors Light) along with various sodas and sparkling and still bottled water.

    Is the winery kid friendly?

Yes! And it’s one of the best wineries in south county.

    Is the winery dog friendly?

We are a dog friendly winery but we do ask that you keep your dog on a leash with you at the table so that the dogs do not wander around the winery visiting our other guests and their dogs. Thank you for asking, and we hope to see you soon!…

There are 3 flight tasting options - white, red, and mixed (which includes a rose). All three are great options and value at 6 tasters for $20. If you choose to purchase a bottle they are all mostly around $26-45. The staff did a great job at decorating the space and making this outdoor concert feel like an intimate experience. The table setup made the crowd feel like they're apart of a community. At sunset, this winery has stunning views of their vineyards. The concert was great. Pasquale is a resident guest of the winery and has a phenomenal voice. The food offered (chicken marsala, sausage and peppers, and balsamic vinegar dressed salad) was underwhelming. The selection was limited and food was cold. By the time I got to the food table, they had run out of the sausage dish. The wine selection was very good though. I particularly liked a few of the white wines offered during the event. The staff and servers were all friendly. It is apparent they all enjoy working here. The donation-pushing felt a bit tacky, however. During the entirety of my visit, I felt like I was being asked to donate (at the table, during dinner, before and after the performance). Of course their cause (providing music lessons to children) is incredibly important and has left a clear impact on the program's students, but it ended up taking away from my experience (especially considering the high cost of the concert tickets). Side note: the parking situation is challenging. There are very few handicapped parking stalls with a tiny lot. On concert nights, parking is located across the road at the neighboring high school. If you are visiting with anyone that has mobility issues, definitely come early to secure close parking. If you get the chance to see a Pasquale Esposito concert here, I would definitely go!

Unfortunately, both the service and the wine itself were disappointing. The best part of this place was definitely the beautiful grounds, which would make a gorgeous wedding setting.
