They are unfailingly polite, prompty, and helpful. They took the time to help me puzzle out my dental insurance and figure out what was covered and how much and helped me come up with a treatment plan. Dr. Davidson is the perfect amount of funny and sarcastic in a way that takes your mind off the fact that someone is using power tools in your mouth and he has a real knack for pacing the procedure to give you little breaks to swallow, wiggle your jaw, and close your mouth right when you need them. All in all a fantastic experience-I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

The location is easy to find. The building looks nice from the outside. When I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the front desk. Its a nice open floor plan. I checked in and filled out my health questionnaire. My appointment started on time. I was at ease right away with my hygienist, Brooke. She was very nice and was easy to talk to. She really had her work cut out for her since it had been a minute since I had an appointment. She listened to me when I had questions about my appointment and played along with me when I let her pick the flavor to use to clean my teeth. My dentist, Dr Erickson, came in and was very kind as well. I really appreciated the time they spent with me. I am happy with the move I made to the new dentist. The location is convenient and in between work and home so I drove by at least twice a day and decided to look into them. It's located in a business strip and has it's own parking lot. When I walk in, Monica has always greeted me warmly. She is one of the office assistants and she was so incredibly helpful and friendly. I was trying to get my records switched over and Monica offered to take care of it. There were issues where my former dentist office LOST my records but Monica helped me sort out what to do and called my insurance company to make sure I was covered and good to go. I so appreciated everything she did because she could have left it to me but actually wanted to help. Lori was my dental hygienist and I swear she is the best! It was my first cleaning ever that did not hurt at all! She's very gentle and provides caring advice on how to keep up with my dental hygiene with no judgment (yes, I really should floss more!). Dr. McDonald is also great. He gave me options of what I could do for some of my dental concerns and answered all my questions. You could tell he really cares and takes pride in his work. Never pressured me into choosing any services either. My husband who has really sensitive teeth and gums said that it was pretty much pain free for him too and a lot better than other places he's been. He also agreed that Dr. McDonald was really informative about his options and no pressure to get work done. I could seriously go on and on but I won't. Just want to say I highly recommend anyone looking for a dentist in the DSM area to consider McDonald Family Dentistry for their staff and the care they give their patients.
