We called the sales person who sold it and gave us their card, the morning we were to pick it up. She said it was ready to be picked up. When we arrived they brought it out, with no plastic or covering, dragged it across the dirty loading dock floor and threw it on our truck uncovered and walked off! It's filthy on the underside. Boulevard Home Furniture sold me a power chair ... I am somewhat handicapped and need assistance…read more Well, the chair was defective and fell apart with me in it causing me to fall out the back. Long story short, store officials were very apologetic and Mr Dave Thomas came to my house with a mechanic who determined the chair was not repairable. THEN ... THEY HAULED IT AWAY AND CHARGED ME $45 for the hauling. Mr Thomas explained it's company policy. I asked them to change that 'policy' and haven't heard back. Sad.

After browsing the shelves for several minutes, I found myself with an armful of books. There is a great variety and they are well organized, not like you'd find in a thrift store. There is an attached coffee shop, which provided the welcoming aroma. I saw plenty of other patrons sitting with books and a cup of their favorite beverage. It's definitely a place people come to hang out. In addition to books, there are other novelty items including things made by local artisans. I appreciate that and picked up a few of those items as well. The Yelp 15% off check-in offer was welcomed, since I did find the price of the books to be a bit higher than I'd expected. But to support local and encourage a business with so much character, I sucked it up and handed over my money.
