Trying to talk to someone at this office is near impossible and, once you do, they don't follow thru. I had an MRI there in mid June. despite several phone calls, with hold times ranging up to 40 minutes, it has been 5 weeks and I can't get my report. Office tells me they are emailing but nothing ever shows. Office staff is surly and radiologist was no better. Can't attest to their competency, but together with everything else, it is probably questionable. read more

The 2 Cust Serv Reps at RAD NET were helpful & had a good sense of doing more to help it be easier for me. I so appreciated that but did not get their names. I then was lucky enough to have had a GREAT Nurse Jenny who yes was informed, trained and had good working knowledge "BUT" more then that she had a great attitude and a great way of doing more to make one feel safe and good. She put a smile on my face for sure for doing more to make me be aware as well as to trust and feel safe. Whoever at RAD NET that hired her hit a Home Run and I so wish all had the opportunity to experience a wonderful human being. Jenny, Thank you for ALL you did to make me feel so good. Very disappointed. I went in for an Xray. Where I asked about my co-pay and I paid it there also asked if there was any other payment or was going to owe anything so I could keep an eye out for it. They said no. couple months later I get a COLLECTION LETTER for $33 dollars! Desert Advanced Imaging never sent me an invoice, never got a call. my address was correct. I called and they said they didn't know anything. Super disappointed with the lack of Customer Service. I complained about the situation because this could have been avoided. im sure they would have sent a couple of invoices at some point. Make sure to keep checking If you have any outstanding balances before you just get a collection bill. read more

Wouldn't recommend for anything outside of regular mammogram or if you've had all tests done through RadNet. They sent me away in August because I needed CDs of previous ultrasound images. Tried for another appointment but didn't have the mammogram images, which I was never told about. Then tried again but they scheduled me incorrectly. Went again today with images, was told there were no images on the CDs until they checked with someone else and they found them, then was asked for reports which I hadn't been asked for previously. So I said they could log in to my MyChart account or I could email from my phoneI was told the only way they could accept the reports is through fax which I can't do from my phone. After waiting over an hour was called to the desk and told they didn't have an order past May 2025. I gave them the correct order in August which seems to have disappeared. Was told everyone went to lunch but I could return at 1:00 to wait until they could see me but couldn't tell me if I could be seen at 1:00 or have to wait hours. They are far from apologetic and actually get pretty rude of you ask any questions. Spoke with another patient waiting and she said they aren't very "gentle" about any issues. For a place that deals with people facing possible breast cancer it's pretty appalling. Not an ounce of caring or empathy. Anyway, I gave up and will be returning to Loma Linda for imaging because apparently they aren't organized or have time to ensure all of the paperwork is in order before the appointment and just wait until you get there to turn you away. I've never dealt with an imaging office that has failed to make sure everything was in order or let patients know about what is required prior to the appointment. read more

I've been to this location for Xrays,Mammograms and MRI'S. My complaint is with their MRI scheduling and appointments. Each time I've had an appointment, I arrived at least 10 minutes early. The waiting room was not very busy at all, being a Saturday. I completed all registration forms online. I assumed I would not have to wait very long to be called for my appointment. WRONG! Today I arrived at 4:10 for a 4:20 appt. I was not called back until 4:55. After putting on my gown and storing my belongings, I waited at least another 10 minutes for the tech. The procedure itself was about 20 minutes. I was quick in getting dressed and gathering my belongings. It was 5:38 when I got to my car. I suffer from many chronic pain issues. I was told to remove all my pain patches for the MRI. I was in so much pain due to being there for so long. The worst part of all the delays is that no one offered an explanation as to the delays or an apology. Such a poor experience, and it's happened before. I'm beginning to think they tell patients that their appointment is 20 minutes before the actual scheduled appt. to insure that people are on time. It's an awful way to run a business for patients getting MRIs who are undoubtedly in pain! I will be choosing another location next time. read more

This was my second visit for a mammogram and the staff could not have been more unpleasant and rude. Due to a mistake on their end with my information, I could not receive my mammogram until I retrieved the correct info which I did not know by heart and could not access in the office as they don't have WIFI access. After 20 minutes of trying to get the info, I went back to the window to tell them I had to come back and explained that I couldn't get WIFI which is when this staff person said I could go outside and try to access it, I said no, I'll come back and she said exasperated M'am I'm giving you the option to go outside, it's not hard to do or you can take the scheduling # and reschedule. I replied I'll do that and she abruptly slapped the paper on the counter which I took and left. Horrible experience. My second visit there, how could they have the wrong info? 1pm, Friday, February 21, 2025. April (front desk) greeted us at the front desk and put us right at ease by asking us questions and informing us of x-ray procedure needs. Greatly appreciated her diligence and customer service. Leslie (the technician) brought us into the x-ray room and was very kind, courteous and exact about what he wanted to do and how he would do it. We left there feeling somewhat calmer in dealing with this physical trauma. 2 wonderful representatives of excellent customer service and professionalism. Horrible customer service the place is tacky. First time there drove a long ways to get there since it was new. You bring in people to enter from the back of the building. Huge front door faces the main street. People get out of theirs cars only to read a sign telling you to enter from the rear. People with walkers wheelchairs etc. Just crazy for patients. Guy at the front desk older man with tattoos seemed lost tons of medical cards with stickers with initials on his desk. Sat there for 35 minutes not checked in yet so we walked out. Other people walked in afterwards who went before us because he was confused so we left. Girl next to him at the front looked mean no smiles, nothing. Overall we will never go back again. Helpful hint Regional Manager do your job correctly. Check the whole operation out before you launch. Give staff better training from top to bottom. Unfortunately we are done now giving our business to a different place. Get it together people. Consider a logistics consultant if you don't know or Radnet it is time for a new manager. Ignore this if you like and watch how people complain while you hurt the company's bottom line. read more

Don't waste your time. They were difficult in making appointments. They contract through Kaiser and this is my second attempt at getting a mammogram. The first time they gave me the wrong info. This time, they wouldn't see me without an ID though they didn't advise that. When I explained I took time off work and this is the second issue, they said they would ask their manager but a few minutes later said, "she isn't picking up her phone so we can't help you." BTW, they sent me a link to upload my insurance card and I responded to it so they could tell I was and I could have answered any questions but they were stuck on the ID even though Kaiser doesn't require it at their faculties. I was very nervous before a PET-CT scan and I went in before my appointment to look at the machine. The most gentle and kind radiology tech, Brian, gave me a tour and explained the process. My appt was in 1 week. Knowing how nervous I was, he offered to come in at 5 a.m.!!! Who does that? The procedure went flawlessly and I'm so blessed that he was the tech in charge. What an incredible person and asset to his employer. I went back later to share my 150% positive experience during my interaction with Brian to his supervisor Cindy. I saw that she, too, was incredibly kind, knowledgeable and helpful. She was busy but made time to see me and thank me for my feedback. This dynamic duo, Brian and Cindy, work at the imaging center in Rancho Mirage. They are hands down, plain and simply, magical. True angels. Thank you both! read more

If i could give this place negative stars I would. In June or late May 2024 I had a mammogram at the Palm Desert office. I was told at that time they saw some masses in each breast. I was asked for my previous films which i provided and was told to schedule a six month follow up. They did not compare or look at the historical films for seven months. They were not looked at until the Friday before my Monday appt. I was in the room to have the follow up and was told i wasn't supposed to be there. I relayed the story and my seven months of worrying. I was then informed that the doctor there had ruled them benign. I asked when this happened? Friday. I said nobody called me. I said they let me worry for seven months when they had the films since the previous June. Now the no responsibility kicks in. Nobody cares! I then asked for my films. I was told they would call me. I added i wanted the CD with my sixteen years of scans returned, i was going to get a second opinion. They repeatedly over the next two months and six calls said we will call you. The did NOT call me so i showed up in the office today again asking for my scans, they gave me two because they shredded my historical cd. They would not give me a print out of the scans they SAID they downloaded. They are horrible ppl. If i end up with breast cancer, they will be sued. CR read more

Having moved to the desert in 2023, I needed to have a Mamogram. I went to Desert advanced imaging in 2024 as well as 2025. I have found this facility in Rancho Mirage to have competent, efficient, professional staff. My appointment was always on time and the clinician who took the film was pleasant and professional. I will continue to go to this facility as I've had very good experiences each time I've been there. I highly recommend desert advanced imaging! read more

They Made and cancelled 4 appointments in 48 hours. Incompetent staff. Had one technician keep me in a CT scan machine for 45 minutes for a 5 minute scan of my elbow. Until I hollered for 10 minutes for help I was ignored. read more

This company is SO badly run it upsets me that this review format won't let me give it ZERO stars. Every time I've had to go to either the Palm Springs or Rancho Mirage locations it has been a disorganized MESS and a huge waste of my time. They are NEVER running on-time, always overbooked, woefully understaffed, and then by employees who glaringly lack appropriate training. It is literally the WORST-run operation in the medical field I've EVER encountered. I've had them tell me upon arrival that they are ruining over 2 hours behind. I've had them reschedule me three different times for the same appointment on THE day of the appointment, most recently after I'd already arrived at the Rancho Mirage facility FOR the appointment. They always ask that you be 20 minutes early which I'm convinced is just to assure they can waste an additional 20 minutes of your time. In addition they send a ridiculous number of reminders by email, text and voicemail always sending you to their website when there is nothing new that's needed there except they want you to confirm YET AGAIN that you know your appointment time. What a HUGE discrepancy between the HIGH value they place on their time versus the LOW value they place on the client's time. RUN, don't walk, AWAY from this mess and toward the Eisenhower Organization which offers ALL the same services and has never done anything but IMPRESS me. read more

Daniel was my radiology tech and he was awesome! I loved the Open MRI. I had 2 MRIs here in the same month and both with Daniel. Front desk ladies are very pleasant and highly organized. Love that they give you a customer portal to see the scans and if you ask for a CD of your scans after imaging they are happy to oblige. If I need another scan I would definitely come back here. The process of getting my ultrasound was as smooth as a stressful event can be so why only two stars? First, their phone customer service that handles scheduling is dreadful. The agent I spoke with alternated between totally apathetic- like she was reading from a note card in a robotic monotone and just wanted to clock out- to a weird, random defensiveness that bordered on aggression. I get that she may have been having a bad day but it isn't as if anyone calling to book a breast ultrasound is having an awesome day either. Second, if you want a copy of your scans, you have to come by the office. There's no option that I'm aware of to have them mailed to you or faxed to a doctor's office. Never mind that I don't live anywhere near this center and dropping by will be tremendously inconvenient and cost $40+ in gas. If mailing them is some sort of privacy violation, I wish I'd been offered a copy to take home at my initial visit. The facility itself is clean and modern. On-site staff is all helpful, friendly, and efficient. There's also ample parking. It's a shame that the one element you can't avoid (phone scheduling) is so off-putting and that policies are not patient-centered. read more

I had a mammogram back on July 31st and have not received any results as of yet. Today is Sep 28th. My dr has not received any results either. I also paid for the additional AI special results of $40. I think they are just scamming people or just incompetent! Someone needs to get this place figured out or close it down. A couple months ago, I had an appointment for an ultrasound that I had made 3 months prior. When I arrived, they said someone had canceled my appointment the day before and I asked who would do something like that?! It was booked months in advance and they said "I don't know " and just kept staring into the computer and didn't even look me in the face and couldn't care less. Then she said they couldn't get me back in for another several weeks. I was livid! I went back today for an ultrasound and arrived 30 minutes before my appointment as instructed. They didn't take me in until 30 mins after my scheduled appointment and I had the rudest ultrasound tech ever! Bitchy, snippy and downright rude! She was acting like I was really inconveniencing her and kept looking at her watch as it was near closing time. If they would've taken me when I first arrived, she would've had plenty of time and not been rushing through the whole thing, copping an attitude and taking it out on me. She kept telling me that she was confused and couldn't figure out what to do... and I had taken in a big thick folder with all my records from the past three years! All my reports were in there, all my CDs from past images, everything! It couldn't have been more clear! She wanted me to cancel my appointment and come back another time and I told her that was unacceptable! I asked to speak to a doctor or supervisor, and the doctor came in and was very nice and spoke to me. The tech was quite rough with me as well. I kept asking her why she had to press down so hard and she said she had to... But it was a little harder than it should have been. I had never experienced pain in past ultrasounds before. I was quite uncomfortable. She just walked out of the room when she was finished with my ultrasound and didn't say one word to me. I was wiping the gel off and I needed another towel and before she left the room, I said can you please give me another towel, this one is all wet and she just pointed over the towels and walked out. R U D E !!! I complained about her to the supervisor after my appointment and she didn't seem to care that much either, she never said I'm sorry or she would talk the tech, or offered any empathy. The tech was extremely unprofessional and I will never go back there again. I wouldn't even give the place one star, actually zero would be better. read more

The reviews are true. This place is horrible when you need to have radiology exams. I went on Friday to have an X-ray done and they didn't have an X-ray tech. They scheduled me for Monday. I arrived Monday, waited in a long line to find out the X-ray tech called in sick. I'm surprised they only have 1 X-ray tech. They sent me to Palm Desert for my exams because that was the only office that had a tech. The X-ray tech Francisco was excellent. read more

This is MY HEALTH, and I don't appreciate the snarky attitudes. I kept getting calls from them that it was time for my annual Mammogram. So, I made an appointment. I didn't have to wait very long initially. I think I waited longer after they called me back and after I placed the robe on. That's all understandable to a degree. As I'm sitting there. I'm reading a sign that says for just $40 I could also have the new additional AI digital reading service to detect things the human eye doesn't pick up on. The girl called me in for the mammogram. I asked her if it was too late to add the AI reading. She said it wasn't so I added it. There was a brief conversation between her and a staff member to have me pay at the end. When I was done, they sent me across the hall to the billing desk and the girl behind the desk seemed to be typing a novel about me. I was wondered why she was inputting so much. So I asked her. She said she was having an issue with being able to bring up on her computer the service added to my mammogram. It was clear after 15 minutes that she wasn't getting anywhere. She asked me to have a seat. I was in a very patient mood- luckily no where to go at that point. After another 15-20 minutes someone walks up to her from back and they're conversing. Basically she finally tells me they will bill me The $40. Thanks!!!! Ok. This was 30 minutes after they closed. Then a day later, I get a message from them saying they needed to cancel my appointment. The one I already had. How do you cancel something today that took place yesterday??? A part of that message was that my insurance company rejected it because it was too early for my mammogram. (But Radnet called me telling me I was due for a mammogram) so I called them asking them what's up with that? The girl in the phone, was playing a guessing game with me, maybe it's because this or that. I asked her if they are trying to say I have to go back in for another mammogram. She wasn't sure. I asked her what the date for my last one was. She said 7/20/23 and I went in on 7/19/24 so I guess I needed to wait another 24 hours. I don't think my insurance company is that petty. I asked to speak to the supervisor. She wasn't available but would call me back. She didn't. So I called her again today, 24 hours later,because my insurance company wants more details. I was told she would have to call me back again and I was switched to her voice message. I don't know what's up over there. Something tells me training is in need. I have been using this facility and others in the Coachella Valley for the last six years. I've never experienced any of the sites to be rude or unaccomodating. I know during COVID-19, there were some issues but none that could be controlled by the facility. i've had two PET scans and MRI taken here and both my technicians were efficient, courteous and professional. If, I ever encounter issues like these. I just kill them with kindness and that seems to help if someone is having a bad day. With my illness I don't need anymore stress in my life. I don't make it stressful on myself. As long as it gets done and I'm able to follow-up on my results. read more

The facility was fine, and the MRI on my knee was done in a timely manner. However, ... My orthopedic doctor said they did a terrible job and the notes they put on my file were incomplete. All had to be done again. And.. They claimed I owed for the entire procedure at the time on my MRI as I had not yet met my full insurance deductible for the year, and I did so. Turns out I should have only paid a co-pay amount and my insurance covered the rest. Desert Imaging has now been paid twice (by my and my insurance company) and I have to try to get them to process a refund for my overpayment. Total, total scam place. 3 months ago, I was cancelled my dexa scan, the night before. Finally, my time comes yesterday. I check in to a sullen front desk receptionist that doesn't say good morning. Then , my medical technician calls me in to the dressing room and snaps take off your clothes except panties. I say, I hope this isn't anything but a dexa scan and she rolls her eyes, show me the open machine and I heave a sigh of relief. Afterwards, she say comments it's been awhile like 2018 since you've had your last dexa scan ossibly implying she sees something bad in my dexa scan. Not a pleasant experience. read more

I called yesterday to ask if my x-ray order was received and if I needed an appointment. The man who answered pulled up the record and said I didn't need an appointment, just come on in. I mentioned I had recently moved to Rancho Mirage from Palm Springs and was happy to find this place close to where I live. I was shocked today when they turned me away saying they hadn't done x-rays for weeks and I'd have to go to another location. What is wrong with this organization? Their website promises x-rays, their employee gives me the green light to come in, my record was received and then they say go away. I, like others, have no choice with the HMO. read more

I recently had a Diognostic mammogram at this office. The wait was fairly long, but not unreasonable. The technician was businesslike, without much emotion. Not that this was a problem, but I was there because I suspected cancer. I waited in the back room until the tech came out to tell me my results came back normal. Needless to say, I was thrilled. I had to jump on Yelp to tell you I was just told by Desert Advanced Imaging that they TRIPLE-BOOKED my 3:30 appointment! That means three people were assigned to my time slot! I am dreading going because I know the mess I am walking into. I already rated this horrible provider for one of their other locations. I had to file two grievances with Scan insurance to get OK'ed to go to (wonderful) Eisenhower imaging center instead. File grievances people! The Department of Managed Health Care requires these providers to give you an appointment within 15 business days. When (not if) Desert Advanced Imaging won't give you an appointment within 15 biz days, file a grievance and request to go to Eisenhower! This horrid company needs to be run out of town. read more
