And had to take medicine prior in which I had paid for and also had my spouse take the day off to take me and When we arrived at 8:17am they tell me the tech did not show up so our appt. Good luck trying to call this business and even better luck trying to get a bill paid. First it may take you a half hour or more talking to someone in the Philippines just to locate the account. Then trying to get the invoice info to pay a bill is next to impossible. Then out of frustration try calling the business office direct and you will get transferred to a whole other phone system- you will never get to talk to a person. Horrible client services, trying to take the human element out of providing customer service. There are plenty of other options out there; I would NEVER use this one again in the future as I demand a minimum of respect and service which this biz doesn't feel they owe a client apparently. read more

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with RadNet. My mother's imaging appointment scheduled over a month and a half in advance was cancelled twice on the same day of the appointment due to technician unavailability. We had carefully arranged our schedule around these appointments, given the importance of receiving timely CT/MRI results ordered by her physician. A healthcare provider that does not have a reliable backup system or contingency plan for essential services places an unnecessary burden on patients who depend on timely diagnostics. Delays like this are not simply inconvenient they can impact patient care and create significant stress for families trying to coordinate medical needs. Unfortunately, this experience reflects a lack of operational planning and consideration for patients' time and circumstances. This company has to be in the top 5 of the worst of my experiences in the "medical" industry. Totally inept scheduling, cancellations same day for no valid reason, equipment breaking and another reschedule debacle. Add in the curt, cold and unhelpful clerks behind the desk, my advice is DO NOT COME HERE. Oh, and they like to try and overcharge you your co-pay. And if you do not pay this overcharge, they will not perform the scan/xray. I even called Blue Cross right from the waiting room and they informed me I knew the correct co-pay but the clowns here would not accept their word. So I had to overpay to just get service and was told by Blue Cross that I'll have to chase THEM for a refund. Completely unacceptable but to those far from friendly clerks (probably way underpaid) - it's basically pay, sit down & shut up. Never again here for my family. Really horrible company. Update - Finally got into the back & their "excellent" scheduling department booked the wrong procedure. So it could not be completed. This place is an absolute unorganized circus of chaos. After waiting for this appointment and rescheduling my follow up Dr's appointment, I arrived last week for my appointment and was notified that the ultrasound would need to be rescheduled. I was rescheduled my ultrasound for today. And this morning there was a voicemail that my appointment would have to be rescheduled again, this time because there were no females to perform the ultrasound procedure. I'm not a big fan of laying on a bed that slides you into a machine to scan your body. However, the girl who did my scan was not only professional and efficient but, she was also funny. She joked with me which made me feel very comfortable. Dr sent me to El Cielo office. I could not get in at 3:30 at Cielo office- though they say they close at 4 pm. ( patients in line waiting) Then I was told to go to Radnet in PS because they are open. They sent me from their office in PS over to to Palm Desert on Fred Waring because PS has no tech until Saturday and PD office is open till 7 pm. Online it states open till 7! Phones do not work, voicemail cut me off. So I drove all the way out there anyways, and at 4:55 was told I could not be seen since the tech leaves at 5:00 pm. Now I am told I have to go to Indio and maybe I can be seen there. This will be my 4th try for an x-ray today. Also- Radnet scheduling on the app does not work either by the way. read more

How many hours do you want to be on hold? How many different reasons (5) can be given for canceling your appointment that took months to get (except the likely one that someone with money came along and bumped everyone that day)? Why do they find it reasonable that you drive 1.5 hours and get a hotel room for the night because it's a two-day test or that you can wait months for a reschedule that's near you? Don't fret, it may not be toxic after all. So, when I found a local hospital to do the test, I did the right thing and called to cancel (the test and hotel). But, I had to call five times to get someone to cancel the test (yes, I was put on hold) so someone else could have the date. In Rancho Cucamonga. Where I don't live. Desert Advanced, Grove, RadNet . . . all the same. Shameful. PS I'm sorry for the employees. Some try really hard. There are not enough and they take the brunt of corporate greed. read more

The front office are cold and uncaring. Five people behind the desk and no one will wait on you. The one girl just totally ignores people. It was 85 degrees in the office which is very uncomfortable. We had to wait one hour past our appt time. No explanation why other than they are one hour behind. They were behind because they took in a patient that did not have an appt and was not an emergency. I went with my mom to complete a study today and upon arrival a daughter of a older lady was speaking to front desk telling them all the info they had on their mom was wrong. They kept asking for her copay of $20 when daughter told them her mom never had any. We told front desk we had an appt they didn't find it we had to show the lady a link of the information of my moms appt and study that they themselves sent. The whole time they were confusing a much older lady with my mom. They were about to take in the older lady and do my moms studies on her. This place is a joke. I took my dad for chest angiogram. There was a senior patient before us, stating she had an appointment for MRI and an X-Ray. They said they can't do the X-Ray cause it's walk in only, can only do the MRI. So she was understandably upset. She asked for her ID back. The first front desk lady was like "Whaaat?" And she said "My ID". The 2nd counter lady said "OKAY SO YOU DONT WANT YOUR MRI??" Lady said yes and she said "OKAY I NEED TO CHECK YOU IN THEN" geezus, how the hell would she know. The another guy came in for an X-Ray that his doctor called in and sent him right over. Front desk told him the same, he called it a "shit show", the elderly lady also said the same verbatim. (Keep I mind this is only maybe 10 minutes since we sat down) So now on to my story, cause it's out turn. We're Mexican but we approached and spoke English, my dad is almost blind so they gave me a clipboard and told me to fill it out, they gave me a Spanish app. Well I want the English one cause my Spanish is broken and worse reading. Why did she assume we needed a Spanish form? Cause of our last name? We speak perfectly good English... We went back up and my dad NOW speaking Spanish saying "yes we are Mexican but we're American, please give my daughter an English form cause I can't see". She didn't say one word, it took literally 5 minutes for her to print English forms. That's a long time for forms to be re-printed and just standing at a window. Half way in my dad made a joke and said "we can take forms in French if you have them". Then started speaking French to her in which she replied "they are going to be in English" in a very disheartening mood. Lol. Front desk is a joke, omg I was on edge waiting to lay into them if they talk to my dad like that. My dad knew and was winked at me to be calm. Now we get called in. The tech was young and very nice but I think he was high as a kite. I don't care about that much too really cause he's basically a person that takes more paperwork. That stupid form in English was for THEM to fill out, not me. Why did the front desk ask me to complete it? All the items to complete are asking for Dr. Diagnosis. My dad just needed to sign consent on 2 pages. He took it and had him sign. Here's a major thing, they asked him upon arrival if he's ate or drink anything in the last 4 hours, luckily our trip takes 2 hours and he did not. There was no previous instruction to not do this. Also if you have diabetes, you are told to not take your meds for 2 days thereafter. That's fine it's in their take home paperwork. BUT I wonder how this effects someone that has too or specialized meds and how it effects them. My dad takes so many pills a day for various conditions. Do they cross reference what other medications what are okay? My assumption is not because of how disorganized they are. They need someone to come in and train how customer service should be and thorough training on what to expect on your appointment. I'd be happy to help and put everyone on staff accountable and organized. read more

Omg the best stars ever . I went for a CT scan today & Raul at the front desk was so personable & kind with a smile . Then i went in for my CT scan & mind you now i have extreme anxiety . I'm sweating away that's when i met Thomas the CT scan tech . He made me so comfortable listened to my every rant made me super comfortable every which way . We started the scan & lo & behold he said i was done . I just couldn't believe him . I thought he was playing with me . I didn't even get a chance to get anxious . Omg the fastest test ever & here it took me only 5 mths to get the courage to do it . I wish i had known i also need a brain scan that I'm petrified off . We even tested out the brain scan to see if i could endure it & i sorta did . What an amazing human !!! Makes people like me feel so heard & cared for . The most unpleasant and unprofessional experience. The first appointment I made, they called and cancelled to reschedule. The next appointment I made, they send me notifications to show up an hour early even if you filled out all the paperwork, so I did as directed. 20 min before my exam time, there is an announcement that the tech is running 50 minutes behind and my appointment could extend even longer. Patients just walked in and shifted everything else for those who had an appointment & even more techs called in not to come. I selected this crappy service instead of commuting an hour + to the VA hospital from my home. My heart goes out to these civilians that have to accept this type of unprofessionalism as the norm - that they have to tolerate bc there are no other options. read more

The front office person who checked me in on my first visit was so rude I wrote a letter to her supervisor! The entire atmosphere at the Fred Waring office can only be described as "county like," with the same amount of good manners. However, the CT tech, Dennis, was very kind. That's the only thing I can say positive. I've got to go back this morning and I am dreading if that person waits on me. UPDATE: I went this morning and an auburn colored hair woman checked me in today and couldn't have been more helpful. What a great change! Also, my ultrasound vascular tech Jonathon made my two ultrasounds so pleasant. UPDATE No. 2 (6/17/2021): After 14 minutes on hold waiting to set an appointment after I was called, I was met by an operator I could literally barely understand my CT scan would be a month away! More than a month away!!!! Next call is to my doctor. Go anywhere else, if you can. read more

I've been to several DAI locations throughout the desert for over 20 years. Visits are typical of what to expect at an imaging facility. However, the two times I've been to the Palm Desert location, it's been so frustrating because of the check-in. Front office staff (this time, the person "helping" me) has made what should be an easy check-in process, a nightmare. From the insurance verification to my copay to just getting the order straight. It took over an hour to situate. I had received several appointment reminders a few times but was told there was not an appointment. But, it was found when I showed the texts. Then, the order was also supposedly not found. When I suggested i could call the doctor's office to resend, it was also miraculously found. I was encouraged to go to a different facility ... why if I was already there??? Then I was asked to pay $100 copay... I don't have an x-ray copay. Sometimes, if you don't know what you're doing, it's ok to ask for help or let someone else take over. But, after the entire ordeal, I can say that the back office staff was great... so because of them, I gave 2 stars instead of 1. read more

This customer service in this place sucks. They only do walk-ins for X-rays. When I got there, they told me it would be a 1 hour wait. In reality it was a full 2 hours. While I was waiting, 2 different people came in saying that the Rancho Mirage facility sent them over as they were not currently doing X-rays. I later heard the staff telling people who came in for X-rays and asked if there was another facility with less waiting time that they could go to Rancho Mirage or Palm Springs. Really?? You know damn well that Rancho Mirage isn't doing X-rays but you refer people to them anyway?? That's beyond unprofessional; that's cruel. This place has been getting terrible reviews for years, so it's pretty obvious they don't give a damn. read more

The overall experience was not good (though the technician who did my ultrasound was very kind and efficient- this review does not apply to her). My appointment was rescheduled twice, both times with little notice, which resulted in missed work and increased stress. After checking in, paying the copay, and waiting for about 30 minutes, I was told "we don't do this kind of ultrasound, you are going to have to go elsewhere." After a bunch of back and forth with the staff, AND after I was able to get my doctor's office on the phone to confirm this was a "normal ultrasound that can be done anywhere," they decided they could do the ultrasound after all. I can understand the cancelled appointments (both times, I was told the technicians were sick), however scheduling my appointment (three times!) without looking at the order to determine if they could provide the service requested, is NOT acceptable. Had I not advocated for myself and called my doctor's office, I would have been back at square one. If you are told they cannot do your imaging, call your doctor. They will not offer to try to help get it sorted out. You will be on your own, so have your order ready, and your doctor's number in hand! read more
