I switched to Dr. Waldman because my previous Allergist was hardly available because he was always out of the country. My asthma was getting worse so I did some research and came across Dr Waldman. He had so much experience and accreditation under his belt that I was felt confident he could help me. The consultation determined that they retest me for allergies. After my tests (which were seperate appointments), I sat in with the doctor and he went over my medical history and test in detail. He literally has a WALL of certifications and is a well of knowledge. He knows the Coachella Valley, how the environment affects allergies and how to manage it. I believe Dr Waldman also manages the valleys pollen count. Anyhow, I get my injections weekly. He gave me a tip on taking my cingular and claritin at the same time and that little tweek has made a world of a difference for me!!! Theyre whole staff is great! Very personable and friendly. Very knowledgeable. OH and Covid is definitely serious business to them. Social distancing , masks , sanitizing, temp checks... All that. I mean they even have a little thingamabonbber that they put the sign in pen through to santize it after each use! Highly recommend Dr. Waldman. He is a private practice and is local to the valley. I've been going here for allergy shots for a couple of years now (after having gone to Dr Gatto in Palm Springs for about four years before that). The front office staff is usually quite pleasant, as are the nurses, and the person who gives the shots. My allergies may be marginally better than they were before I started taking shots, but I do consider stopping them from time to time. Dr Waldman wants me to come every week, but that's just too frequently, especially when I'm at the maximum maintenance dosage. I do sometimes get the feeling that they want to see me more frequently than is necessary (i.e., an office visit every three months, which I push out to at least six), so that they can collect more money from my insurance -- not to mention my co-pays and deductibles. There is no need for an appointment for shots (which are given Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to noon, and 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. I suspect that I'll keep going here every couple of weeks or so, until something better comes along. read more

Dr Waldman's allergy treatments have changed my life. I have suffered from intense seasonal allergies for 40 years and before meeting Dr. Waldman I had tried every allergy pill, nasal spray, steroid and just about every remedy I had heard of short of acupuncture. My allergies have not completely disappeared (which would probably be impossible), but I now rarely take any medication, just the weekly shots and for 90% of the year I forget I have allergies. The Dr and his staff have always treated me professionally, respectfully and courteously. I've been in the office over 100 times and have observed this same consideration for all their patients. Nice clean place, friendly staff, nurse practitioner took me to her office and proceeded with a really long and detailed interview of my health history, also asked me lots of personal information. I never saw Dr Walman only the NP. I had been referred to Dr Waldman for allergy testing, and before I even scheduled my appointment the receptionist told me that this doctor would only be taking my insurance for a couple more months, she also told me, and I agreed that I would come in for the test and then they could forward the results to my primary doctor. I also informed the woman who booked my appointment as well as the nurse practitioner that I've had three open heart surgeries. They were all aware of this from the beginning. I stressed this point in the first minute of my interview. Well, here's what happened. After I spent close to an hour in their office being interviewed, at the very end of the visit they told me that I would have to come back three more times to complete the test, and they said I would have to get an OK from my cardiologist first, because they might use a drug that can will effect my heart. If I would have known that I wouldn't have booked the appointment. Why couldn't they have told me this in the beginning? The reason is that they are greedy and just wanted my money, or my insurance companies money, they didn't care about my time, which they wasted.
