My 2004 Audi A4 oil pump went out on my way to Palm Springs from San Diego. After talking to a few people from Palm Springs, I decided to take it here. Worse. Mistake. Ever. When I received the call that my car was "ready," almost two weeks later, they told me that it wasn't drivable. They said that they would have to take the whole engine apart to figure out what's wrong with it. They wanted to charge me $1500 for the "work" they already did on it, plus whatever it would cost to tear down the engine. After some arguing back and forth, I was able to get it down to $750. Still a lot of money for not fixing my car. I went to go pick up car and had it towed back to San Diego, where I took it to my mechanic who fixed it in two days and only charged $800. Luckily I filed a complaint and was able to get all my money back form this shady place. Stay away. read more

Had my 79 MGB carb work done. Great guys, and it runs like a top. Only reason not 5 stars, I had to return 2 times for carb tuning, but they did it right away when I took it back. I thought it was a little pricey, but I haven't had to pay for car repairs in a couple of decades, so I'm not sure. But I will return if another need comes up.
