Definitely a reason for the one star! This place is horrible especially for kids. I have been waiting for over two hours for a scheduled surgery with a specialist, that's only here once a month and still can't seem to get in timely! People are halfway friendly, but giving me different opinions. The first lady said that all four wisdom teeth needed to be extracted. Then the man that saw her said that only two needed to be extracted. Fine no big deal but then they take you into a sales room and try to pitch you on laughing gas and cadiver bone that has not been needed for years. I've been here for 2 1/2 hours and still I'm not started the procedure on my daughter. And the waiting room is completely completely filled every single seat taken. They definitely overbooked which I'm sure contributes to the wait time. Do yourself a favor and please find a different place to go. read more

The office experience very poor. The front desk people were not helpful, disrespectful and rude. Always had to wait at least 45 minutes after scheduled appointment. I was not informed of changes prior to my appointments, which in some cases created financial problems for me. Dr. Felema was great. Kind and caring. He thoroughly explained to me what my ex-rays showed and what I needed to do from there. The prior dentist I saw there I felt was rude, left me sitting in the chair for over an hour without seeing me. Looked at my mouth briefly, threw down her implements and left leaving someone else to explain to me what was happening. Went in for my cleaning appointment, told a bunch of things and that i needed another evaluation, which would have been my 4th in 3 months. At that point I realized this is not what I should be experiencing and left. 5 stars for Dr. Felema. The rest of the office no stars. I usually don't like to leave negative reviews however, I wish I would have looked at the yelp reviews before scheduling an appointment with this Dental group. I'm not going to focus on any of the other reviews, but I'm just going to describe my personal experience. My first initial appointment was scheduled incorrectly. When I arrived at my appointment, I was told that my appointment was later on in the day. I did schedule my appointment through the Corporate Office, so I'm not sure where the confusion was as to the time of my appointment, but that was already my first inconvenience, having to come back because lack of communication on their part. My second observation was the cold and rude interaction between the office staff. You would assume because it was an error on their part that they would be apologetic even showing some sign of concern for the inconvenience however, I was treated as if I was the inconvenience. I was informed that I could come back if I wanted to, or I could just reschedule because they didn't schedule the apt and it wasn't their error... Which should've been my first red flag. I did come back because I was in a lot of pain and at this point I needed to see a dentist ASAP. When I came back the dentist himself and the staff in the back office were amazing. No complaints there. When I was sent to the billing department to work and coordinate with their representative for payment options I was told that if I wanted the work done right away to pay out-of-pocket, and once they submitted my insurance request that I would be reimbursed. I agreed because like I said, I wasn't a lot of pain and it seemed like a fair plan of action. My initial date that I have the work done on my teeth was on February 12th 2026. Needless to say, when I followed up two months later for my refund, I was given instructions that there was no status on my refund and to follow up in another couple of weeks. I'm very patient and gave them another two months. On May 27, 2026 I called the Corporate Office and made a complaint and was told that the person working on my original claim was no longer employed there, but that they would look into it. I did receive a phone call that day from I believe their office manager. The call went to voicemail, but the message was stating that I would be receiving a refund and gave me the amount. I called back and they told me she was busy but that she would give me a call back. I never received another call. I never received another update. I still have never received the refund. I will never return and I'm just counting the refund as a loss at this point... read more

Was referred to by my general dentist and had an appointment set for a root canal. Got a call to come 2 weeks earlier cause someone cancelled so I took the opportunity and went in the next day @ 4. I arrived on time but was left waiting for over 3 hours before I was seen. There was little to no communication from the staff about the delay until I asked why the wait was so long and their answer was that the specialist doing the procedure is behind from all the patients (okay? Sounds like that's YOUR issue for overbooking appointments). Finally got called to the back and took another 30-40 min to get the procedure done and was already annoyed from the wait. The specialist was overworked but very kind so I wasn't upset with her. I don't like to write bad reviews but this is the worse "care" I've ever received from any medical office. I was there for a total of 4 hours for a procedure that should only have taken 30 min. This office needs to get their priorities in order cause no one should have to deal with that nonsense. The marketing is misleading, the process is manipulative, and the entire visit felt like a calculated bait-and-switch designed to extract as much money as possible rather than provide care. Let's be honest about the glowing reviews: they're clearly the result of patients being buttered up in a financing room by trained salespeople, not because of quality dentistry. If you're wondering why people are afraid of dentists, this place is the answer. They excel at scamming, wasting your time, and delivering a genuinely awful experience. The level of incompetence and sleaziness here is staggering. No real professional behaves like this. The dentists came off as unserious, unskilled, and completely driven by quotas. The whole operation felt dirty, predatory, and gross. THEN- 2 weeks later I get a text saying that the invoice- the same one I paid out of pocket was due! I went into today for a consultation of extraction of teeth. I heard the office staff whispering on why it was just a consultation then they just deciding to change it up that I was there for the extraction that day. I had to correct them that I just had questions for the surgeon. The treatment coordinator quickly ushered me out of the room and wouldn't even go over cost. I requested someone to call but by the looks of the other reviews- they won't. Once I got back to the oral surgeon . I found out that my time had been wasted. He was rude and cut me off. He heard nothing of my mouth. When I mentioned that I there for a consult on extraction required for braces. All he heard was braces- and told me to ask my questions to the ortho. He made it clear that all he could advise was if he could pull the teeth. Nothing else. He cut me off and didn't even let me ask the other questions I had about recovery and the process. He continued to cut me off when I tried to ask anything else so I just said yes that he answered my concerns cause I could tell her very clearly didn't care. Remember it's not what you say but how you say it. Get a better doctor who cares about people. It might be your 100th time pulling someone's teeth but as a patient we have concerns that need to be treated with sensitivity. 100000% do not recommend. read more

Their billing personnel sent incorrect codes to my insurance ...twice. Samantha didn't answer the phone when I had a 3 way call with my insurance. My lady had to hang up. They repeated X-rays because of the time it took to get them to correct their error and see my insurance was going to pay for my dental work. They said I needed a cleaning before they could do the work I requested. But, when I arrived to get a temporary partial, there was no cleaning.They only had a visiting Dr. there to make it. He rushed it. One tooth fell off after 2 weeks. I was quoted $699 to make the temporary partial but when completed it was more like $1800. I had to get their loan place to pay for it. (They said a graft was needed which costed $900). The rest was finance charges. Since it was around the holidays and I was traveling to visit family., I accepted the cost with pain. When I returned home they sent a notice that I needed a cleaning. I received an appointment. I showed up and was told ... I had no appointment and they could not see me. I get another appointment to have the original work done of replacement partials (upper and lower my insurance had okayed. I was hoping for a cleaning by now also. When I arrive, they only have me listed as getting an upper partial molding and they added that I needed a crown on my lower. I got my insurance on the phone immediately and complained about them not doing what I originally came there for. My insurance said they saw where they had requested the crown and my co-pay would be $75. She hung up. The billing lady there supposedly went to the Dr. Now, they said my co-pay for my crown would be $350. I was so annoyed because no cleaning was going to happen that day. Also, I was told it's best to get measured for upper and lower at the same time. Duh! Then why was I only getting measured for an upper partial? and no cleaning. They had the records and the assurance of getting paid. Soon, I was asked lto find another dental office because they want their patients happy and she could see I was unhappy! Duh again! How could I be happy with them taking almost a year to notcomplete a job? I saw the companies officer's comment. Then I read many negative reviews for Desert Dental. I carry a gene that makes it so my body required a lot more novocaine. I was there for a root canal so it was imperative I receive proper pain control. The endodontist did not listen to my concerns and pushing her hands away. Tears were running down my face I stopped her forcefully for more pain control. It wasn't good but it was a little better so, chair side was the worst I've ever had. This location works in conjunction a location closer to my home. I was working on two root canals (both in Victorville) and crowns done in Rancho. Victorville can't figure out how to bill it properly. I have spoken with front office staff and asked them to call Rancho because this crown is 100% covered by my insurance. Please take care of this, I'm not paying $550 for something you can't code properly. I should have made a formal complaint with the dental board, what she did was abusive!! read more

I came here because a friend recommended them but there is always an issues at this place. You show up for your appointment and it's one thing or the other. They didn't charge my insurance TWO years ago and I'm still waiting to be reimbursed. Today I came in for my appointment and I brought my baby and they tell me she's not allowed in the back. I have brought her to other appointments and she stayed in the lobby with my husband so it's never been an issue but today I'm alone. This was my first time to the dentist in years and I was not impressed with the office. My appointment was at 4:00 Pm and I wasn't called back until 4:35pm. It took an hour and forty minutes to complete X-rays then wait for the hygienist and doctor. Then I waited another 35 minutes in the waiting room to go over cost and insurance. By this time it was 6:30 Pm. I told the receptionist I was done waiting and she said someone would call me instead. No one has called me. The staff was nice but the wait was truly frustrating. I'm going to start this off with the staff being friendly and kind. Doctors are gentle, and the woman who does the deep cleaning, she is fantastic. The way this office operates is ridiculous. My first time here with my wife and daughter took almost 6 hours. We had appointments at 12 and 1 and didn't get out till almost 6. I tried it again maybe thinking it would be faster to my surprise it was longer. I had an appointment at 12:30 showed up early and signed in, i didn't get called back till almost 3 sat in a back room for another half hour and finally got up and walked out.. they over book in anticipation that people will cancel so when people don't cancel they fall behind by hours.. out right ridiculous. If there were zero stars available, that is what I would give this office. I was there to find out why I had pain under a crown, (which they put in only a year ago). I told the dentist that I believe some of the cement had come out and perhaps bacteria got in or food got trapped. She said it would have to be a big hole (really???). She wanted me to see the endodontist to discuss root canal possibilities even though nothing was showing on the xrays to indicate a problem. She then wanted to replace the crown next to the one with the issue. I asked why, and she said maybe there was some amalgam left on the tooth while pointing to a dark line on the xray. I said really? your office shaved the tooth and removed everything when the crown was put on. It doesn't hurt and I have no issues with it. Then I was examined by the dental hygienist who wanted to do 4 deep cleanings per year. Last year when I had the crowns done, no work would be done by the dentist until I submitted to deep cleaning first. When they brought me the estimate, suddenly I supposedly had 5 cavities(where, it didn't say, either) to be filled (which the dentist never mentioned) and an estimate for two bridges and two implants which were never discussed with me either. Also, an estimate for one crown replacement that supposedly had shifted. (the tooth that doesn't hurt). Thousands of dollars on this piece of paper. At this point I got up and said "I'm done." I left and will never be back. I've never had a dentist present an estimate without fully discussing what he or she found during my checkup. I am disgusted with the whole office, except the receptionists who are actually really nice. I felt like this was a money grab, and not informing a patient of a rationale behind estimates is not only disrespectful, but seems rather fraudulent as well. read more

I went back in August 2021 to get their opinion on the options to extract wisdom teeth. while I was there conversation when from wisdom teeth, to perhaps a cleaning, then maybe a deep cleaning, to questions about my smile and if I would veneers. I literally expressed several times I was there for wisdom tooth extractions. I have 6, it was started to get uncomfortable and a lot of pressure if I didn't get them extracted. anyways, they left me alone for like 30 minutes. The receptionist tells me at this time that I will only be getting xrays and an exam and I would have to schedule a cleaning for a later date. This is when I get the most rude attitude and she tells me shes not the one who took my call and asks if I'm going to get my xray or not. Note to the office manager: people have jobs. Only to be told that I had 2 cavities, needed a deep cleaning, also all my fillings were old and needed to be replaced and that it would cost $700 and my insurance wouldn't convert it. this dentist office was great. Dr. Choudery and her assistants are amazing. She made me a new partial and was very patient with me. I had went without a good portion of my teeth for 8 months and she made my partial in time for my daughter's high school graduation. I am grateful. So I had an emergency last week and I went into the office to and they made me an appt for the next day. Now the back story is that I was about to get on a flight to Texas and I was in excruciating pain. So I went into the office on my appointment day and the bad thing is I waited over an hour to be seen. After that hour or so I was put in a room and the doctor and the nurse were amazing for my extraction. The Doc explained every step of the way and the nurse was very nice in explaining as well after care and giving me my gauze.
