My husband had a severe toothache and infection. We found this clinic online and called to set up an appointment. Not only was their availability very reasonable, but the service was excellent. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The doctor was amazing, and the entire process was smooth from start to finish. Their prices were very affordable compared to other clinics we contacted, especially since we don't have insurance and had to pay out of pocket. I would recommend them 100%. read more

If you care about your teeth, do not go here I had one visit and my teeth have never been the same again he filed my teeth, causing me difficulty chewing now I bite my lip all the time. Office staff is extremely unprofessional. Doctor did not charge my insurance instead. Had me pay cash wants to charge me $100 to get my records. I didn't take any pictures ( would've been awkward on my first visit ) . I was pleased with how nice and inviting the office was, very clean with cute summer decor. The staff was very friendly and so helpful. I, along with many people, am not a fan of any dentist office..... the dental assistants were amazing, and the dentist took time to explain everything I was concerned with. I wrote a review 6 years ago, which was positive. However, I'm going to have to review again. I had an appointment this week for a cleaning. My appointment time was at 11:00. After waiting an hour, I was finally called in. The hour wait gave me lots of time to observe the waiting room, and I noticed how grimy it was: the carpet obviously hadn't been vacuumed recently, and the chairs were dusty. When I was in the dental chair, the young woman came in to take x-rays. She put clean gloves on, did the x-rays, and while waiting for the dentist to come in, she started putting things away in drawers wearing the same gloves. She left the room with the gloves on, came back after a few minutes, and began to assist the dentist while wearing the same gloves ugh. I told the dentist I had mouth pain, and he told me it was gigivitis. The weird thing is he gave me the exact same speech he gave the patient before me. He wanted to sell both of us a deep cleaning treatment. I have gone for my 6 month cleaning every 6 months for more than 25 years. While doing the cleaning, he mentioned that I didn't have much tarter build-up. I thought it was unprofessional for the dentist to discuss the previous patient's dental care in an area where another patient could hear. The treatment room was grimy. I saw little bits of litter on the carpet, which looked as if it hadn't been vacuumed in a while. The dentist didn't show any interest in my mouth pain, other than telling me it wasn't a cavity. He was very rough in the cleaning, which caused my gums to bleed. My gums have never bled in previous cleanings there. My gums never bleed when I floss and brush. Also, the dentist was wearing a t shirt and sweat pants. Weird. I've been going to this dentist for 8 years. He didn't seem to recognize me, and his staff were not nice at all. I've gone in every six months for 8 years, and I think I've seen different staff every time I've gone in. I'm sad to write this review because I liked this dentist when I first started going there. PLEASE FORGIVE THE LONG REVIEW BUT IT'S WORTH THE READ...Eagle Dental is a "no frills" business in a tiny strip mall. The main (and only dentist that I know of) is Dr. Reza Shirazi. He referred himself after working for another dentist, promising he could charge lower prices that our regular dentist could/would. At the time we had no dental insurance, now we do. Over a year ago, Dr. Shirazi did a root canal and crown(btw, he uses inferior bonding materials for both temporary and permanent crowns having them fall off within days). However, the root canal and crown in question in this review has not fell off. Instead, ive been experiencing pain in that area for over a year. I come to him every few weeks complaining of the pain when i bite down on that tooth, tap it or drink anything cold. He keeps telling me the bite on that crown is not correct and he files it down, saying, "Better now right?" Which i say, "I cant really tell without chewing on hard/dense foods or drinking ice cold water". He also does not have a dental hygenist. Mind you i like my teeth cleaned by the doctor but not by the clavitron (sp?)...Ive always had hand scaling done by a dentist and/or dental hygenist. Our whole family ended up going to Dr. Shirazi when my sons's medical dentist (claimed he had 14 cavities at one point (i assuming padding the bill) because he is adopted. We now pay for his dentistry and put him on our insurance. Our little family never had any problems with our teeth until we moved to the High Desert of California. Now its one thing after another. Our son was deemed to need braces by his Medical dentist...he does not...his teeth are perfect, straight white and no cavities since we left the Medicare dentist (wish i could remember his name...he would never let me in the examining room or look at the Xrays...i need to research him also). Anyway, back to Shirazi. He gave me my 6 month teeth cleaning still refusing a hand scaling. Instead he gave me a VERY aggressive cleaning with the Cavitron. Two weeks later i was back in his office complaining of the pain in the same area of the back molar i'd been complaining of for over a year. His assistant (and I should probably mention he went through staff, like he chanes his underwear. No one was ever the same. His first receptionist, Kansas, when we first went to him, was the best, nice to the patients, an all around joy and took her time explaining things while Shirazi is short tempered,, abprupt and uses foul language around his staff and patients. Our family are Christians and dont appreciate that language. That LAST visit to Shirazi, he didnt even come into the room. He just had a technician take the same old xrays, gave me a referral to Root 66 Endodonics and a prescription for Clindamycin (i dont do well on antibiotics, ie. Nausea, acid reflux, sore throat from the acid reflux and Candida in mouth and the "nether regions if you catch my drift). The day after i started the antibiotics, I woke up and that side of my face had swoll up, gums were red and one hour later next to the hurting tooth, a huge purplish/blackish red nodule formed. My husband rushed me to the ER as it was a Sunday. After sitting there for hours amongst very sick people vomitting into puke bags, i was seen by a very nice ER doctor who said, after i told him the whole sorted story, "Im no dentist but it looks like the beggings or full blown abscess. Finish the Clindimycin, im prescribing antibnausea meds and an anti yeast med. He told me it was never my tooth but a raging infection in my gums...for over a year!!! Really??? It is now much better, my "tooth no longer hurts, but im still suffering from nausea (and vomiting at times which could be from the aftermath of the Clindamycin or the poisons running through my body for a year. My primary care doctor is running all kinds of tests on me. And one of my best friends, a paralegal says she looked into Dr. Reza Shirazi of Eagle Dental and found there is at least one lawsuit against him and that he has filed for bankruptsy. At first i was impressed that he was a graduate of USC dental university because i know many others who graduated from there but whose practices are in Santa Monica, CA and Beverly Hills, CA. Which is too far for me to travel. However USC already has a history of taking bribes from wealthy (and famous) parents to allow their children into their school. It was in all the news. All i can say from my experience with Dr. Reza Shirazi is AVOID THIS DENTIST LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! read more

This should be the second to last update on this saga. It's still 5 stars and I'm expecting my last review will be the same. This review should be fairly short compared to the others. I came in to have the temporary crown removed and the permanent one put on. There were no shots involved (YAY!), the temporary crown came out easily, Dr. Shirazi placed the permanent crown to see how it fit and filed down the crown so that it fits perfectly! It feels so seamless and natural, my bite is perfect, and it's not too snug so that I can still floss. It was a quick and painless appointment and I am so satisfied with the quality, fit, and feel of this crown! We went ahead and scheduled the appointment for the filling on the tooth I mentioned in a previous review as well as scheduled a cleaning for the same day. Mind you, I have not been to a dentist in years, so it should go without saying that I have also not had my teeth cleaned in years. Dr. just recommended a regular cleaning, not a deep cleaning. I even asked the office manager to make sure. She confirmed that if he saw the need for a deep cleaning, he would have put it in the chart / notes for her. So, for anyone worried about being taken advantage of, I assure you that this is an honest dentist. He is not trying to recommend things you don't need nor is he trying to push additional services just to make a buck. I really trust Dr. Shirazi and his staff and I am so grateful I have found such a wonderful dental office. My last review will be after the filling and cleaning to let y'all know how that goes. read more

My husband and I were on our way back from Vegas when he had a terrible toothache. I decided to look for a dentist nearby for some emergency treatment since we were still hours from LA. I found Eagle Group Dental and took my husband there since it was close to the 15 on the way back. I called in to book an emergency appointment and was really glad that they took us in. I was worried about the cost, since I didn't know whether they were in network. They told me that the doctor will do a FREE exam for my husband! We hurried to the dental office and were welcomed by friendly faces. The staff asked if we wanted some water while we waited. They ushered my husband into one of the rooms while I waited after filling out his paperwork. The reception room had about 8 chairs and wasn't that big. While waiting for my husband to get treated, I noticed that there were not that many patients coming in and out. The staff knew all the patients by name and there was a family feel about this office. After the x-ray and exams, Dr. Reza came to introduce himself. He had a good sense of humor and explained to us that my husband had a tooth infection. He informed us that it was going to take some time to clean out the infection, and my husband would need to take some antibiotics and complete the root canal at a later time. The staff then checked on my husband's insurance and told me that the tooth infection was covered and that we didn't have to pay anything out of pocket! My husband came out of the treatment room about an hour later, and he looked so much more relieved! The whole process from me calling the dental office and getting my healthy (somewhat--still needs the antibiotics) husband back took about 2.5 hours. If I didn't live so far away, I would go here for all my toothaches and cleanings too. Everyone was really nice and professional. I was worried about going to the dentist after 10 years. I broke a tooth and couldn't put it off any longer. I recently received Delta Dental thru Medicare, I researched the dental offices in my area. Eagle Dental had good reviews, I made my appointment and was not disappointed. The front office ladies were very nice and professional. Dr Reza Shirazi put me at ease right away as I was nervous. He answered all my questions sent the information to the insurance company so I would know exactly how much it would cost. I had the work done and I'm very satisfied with my crown and the fillings. I had gone there a consultation. Started out very happy with their office management and they gave me a printout of cost per my insurance coverage. I called my insurance to go over the cost and they were different than printed on my printout. so insurance said they would call the dentist to go over the costs with them. I then get a call from dentist office saying I had complained to my insurance about them which I had not complained just asked to go over the costs. But they weren't willing to explain costs just told me we should "go our separate ways". Wow! so needless to say I don't recommend this facility. read more

I had a really horrible experience i went to eagle dental for dentures and 2 implants paid a huge amount for the implants 1 fell out and then he pulled the other one out and it wasnt ready so i had to have stitches my dentures were dropped and broken didnt fit at all and the one that did had a huge crooked over bite i had to put so much glue and they still fell out i had to listen to the dentist and even making racial comments and my mouth was open so i cldnt say anything....anyway i ended up getting half my $ back because it was 1 screwup after another....i went to loma linda and paid nothing out of pocket for my dent u res they fit no glue needed and look great.. read more

I had an appointment with Eagle Dental in June of this year for a consultation. They told my husband and I about the type of work that we would need done. They said they would call us to set up an appointment and they never responded. 20+ unanswered calls, several voicemails, and a couple of no-one-home drive bys later we still haven't been able to get in contact. They've either gone out of business or have no interest in taking other customers at this time. I've never been ghosted by a dental company before. Don't waste your time. read more

my daughter had a consultation and I was given a list/breakdown of the work that was needed to be done. I took the list home and compared their cost with what my co-pay was with my dental provider. They wanted to charge me more then triple for the work. I called to ask for clarification, the girl at the front desk put me on hold for a while and got back on the phone to tell me that based my fees on delta dental (which i do not have) when i questioned why they would do that knowing my insurance was not through delta dental she put me back on hold. when she returned to the call she stated that the dentist recommends that I find another dental office as they no longer take my insurance. Definitely not true as there was no mention of that a week prior when I scheduled her appointment, also confirmed with my dental insurance provider and was told that they are still a part of the network. He did the same thing to my mother, unfortunately she paid him a pretty penny before realizing the co-pay discrepancies. Eagle dental has since dropped my mother as a client without giving her the crowns she paid for nor a refund! I cannot stress enough on how big of a scam this place is, I'm not even sure how he is in business still. hopefully he wont be for long as we have filed formal complaints with the dental insurance provider, the better business bureau and the California dental board. If you have used this dentist in the past I highly recommend that you compare your billing statements to your dental insurance coverage right away. read more

I went to Dr. Sherazi this week and I don't know what to say..... he was amazing!!!! I'm normally petrified of the dentist and I have to admit, it had been a few years since I had gone. As soon as I walked in he was standing there waiting with the sweet girl at the front for me. (I was running late) so he welcomed me and made me feel at ease IMMEDIATELY!! He explained everything about he did very thoroughly and I've never had a painless and pleasant experience at the dentist until I went to Dr. Sherazi! Thank you so much Dr. Sherazi for finally helping me overcome my fear of the dentist!!! You have a patients FOR LIFE!! I also drove over an hour so sit in his chair and I must say I would drive 4! 5/23/17 I just got my last set of Invisalign and what can I say, except for everything amazing, wonderful, gentle, and wonderful! I've been to see Dr. Shirazi 3 times. WITHOUT XANAX... My first visit was an emergency. I made several calls to other offices, and am so glad I landed there. I have a phobia about dentists. From six years old. I never thought I'd say this, but I have so much FUN there! The people are amazing, Dr. Shirazi is hilarious. I've always had so much anxiety, just thinking about going to the dentist, let alone actually walking through the door. I was immediately at ease. Dr. Shirazi and his staff authentically CARE, obviously enjoy what they are doing, which is so important, and are really GOOD at what they do... I wish I could give this place zero stars. I went in for a consultation, and they recommended a deep cleaning. As I had just had a cleaning six months prior I knew I didn't need anything serious done other than a basic cleaning. Dentist came in and said I absolutely needed a deep cleaning. Surprised I just blankly picked a next appointment figuring I could call back and just have it switched to a regular cleaning. When I called back to ask to just have a regular cleaning the office clerk hotly told me I HAD to have the deep cleaning and follow dentists orders otherwise they would refuse to see me. No problem! I simply canceled my appointment (which was greeted with a very rude hang up), went to my previous dentist and paid out of pocket to have my hygienist tell me there was absolutely no way I needed a deep cleaning. Beware of anything they tell you is absolutely "essential" as they might just trying to get the most out of you and your insurance plan as possible. read more
