Despite the young man cleaning the floors, they were still wet and rather dirty. When I was walking towards our theater I noticed there was a ACTIVE renovations with half the theaters being closed. The movie we saw was Mortal combat. The seats were less than optimal for comfort. I most likely will not be returning. There are multiple things that need to happen before I am willing to return.

They have strategically placed trash cans at the proper places to allow you to open the door when you leave, with a paper towel, and throw it away. Not only that, but if you forget to nab a towel, you can actually open it with your FOOT. Catering to the germ-a-phobes like me, now that's top notch service. Options. They have plenty of movies and times to choose from. You can purchase your tickets online, outside at the kiosks, or inside face-to-face. They also have great popcorn, and nachos, and treats, and beverages. Who doesn't love a good flick with an ice cold soda pop in your right and your lover's hand in your left? (Still working on filling my left hand, until then I'll stick some junior mints in it). There is always plenty of parking, even though it shares a lot with other businesses. There were stairs right away, and unless we missed another accessible entrance, it made getting in with a stroller a bit challenging. The museum was smaller than we expected. We explored the second and third floors, but the first floor was closed during our visit due to renovations. We're not sure exactly what they were updating, but hopefully it adds even more to the experience once completed. A nice bonus was the WIC discount. My cousin showed her WIC card, and admission was only $3 per person for up to five people. Children under 2 were free, which made it very affordable for families. Our kids, ages 10, 5, and 2, all found something they enjoyed. Their favorite exhibits were the airport area and the dinosaur ride. We spent about 1 1/2 hours there before heading out. Since we're from Las Vegas, we're used to visiting the Discovery Children's Museum, which is much larger and offers more exhibits. Because of that, it's hard not to compare the two. That said, we understand every city has different resources and budgets, so we tried to judge this museum on its own. Overall, it was a fun place to visit once, especially for younger children. We probably wouldn't return unless they expand the museum or complete the renovations, but we're glad we checked it out while visiting St. George.

By far the most TOXIC AND HORRENDOUS PLACE I HAVE EVER KNOWN. Most of this came from Shelia Bailey (the director and founder) and another teacher who no longer works at the establishment. Shelia, if you are listening to this, I hope you rot in hell. You are the reason I am in therapy every week. You are the reason I grew up believing I was never going to be enough. You are the reason I went home and cried every week, with my mom being helpless as you never responded at her frequent emails and texts to meet up and have a chat about how me and many other girls at the studio were treated. I will never forget the time you yelled and me and a whole class of girls as we cheered on our fellow dancers, and cheering is not "mature" as you mocked us through your microphone in front of the whole studio at our end of year performance. I will never forget how you told my mom that I needed to learn how to stand up for myself and suck it up when I was bullied by another dancer for years, with no retribution at all coming to that dancer. Please do not send your children here unless you want to give them unhealthy mindsets and unrealistic expectations, as well as lasting mental health problems and diagnosed PTSD.

For me, this has not been a good experience. They consistently start late and when I am paying for 30 minute classes it really adds up. At least three times they started 10 minutes or more late. Also if you want to watch your child practice upstairs through the viewing area, there is a small 4 x 3 window where you can fight with a dozen other parents for position to see out. It is abundantly clear that this facility was not built to be a dance studio, it is a very old movie theater. When the kids actually are in practice, even that time is not well spent. There is far too much time spent sitting in a circle or talking, or doing costume changes. As you can imagine with three-year-olds, there's going to be a number of times as well where individual Time is needed with each kid and that also distracts from the class time. So to recap, my three-year-old has enjoyed her experience but I have not. Her last dance class started 10 minutes late and they spent half the time watching the big kids dance. It look like she had a good time but if I needed her distracted I could've just put her in front of the tv.
