Far out in the middle of no where. Staff is sometimes rude. But they had what I needed.

I like pilot, however this is the worst location I've been to. First it's pretty cramped to get…read moreyour truck around, but that can be worked around. Secondly the store was not all that appealing, in business the 15 sec a customer walks in makes or breaks their opinion, and the cleanliness of inside and outside was not good. Thirdly I went inside to clarify parking as all the spots stated prime, and there's about 60 of them. Upon walking in I get the rudest greeting. Waited till the employee was done with their customer, then she completely ignored me and started calling the next person. I politely interrupted cause I just needed to clarify parking which she stated well ya you have to pay. I was then annoyed with the attitude and was about to leave when the next person asked about the cost, employee replied $20. To which I replied was just ridiculous. Other locations have about the same amount of spots and only a fraction are prime. For this one spot to make over $1,200 on parking in 24hrs is just ridiculous. If you're going to have all 60 prime y'all need to come up with a pay scale or just do what most are with a fraction prime. You probably make more money on fuel and snack from customers that would actually stay and come back. Based on me needing to park for a couple hours I completely left to take my break, fuel, and spend over $20 on food, I was truly looking forward to some pizza (pilot has some good pizza) and drink somewhere else. There a Love's just North - about 20min Or a Terrible's just South - about 40min Use those - I will not come back until the following changes and urge other drivers to do the same Pilot work on these employees and update your parking.

It's ridiculous how much cheaper gas is in Nevada than it is in California. Even the tax structure is unfair since EVs use our roads but only gas powered cars are expected to pay for maintenance of roads and freeways. Anyway, I try to keep my tank a bit lower on the way in to Vegas so I can fill it in Nevada. Waiting until the store is closed is definitely the way to save time and headaches since the lines are so much shorter and the gas stations are open for a few hours after closing. Since Costco has workers outside, there is much less chance of getting ripped off by people putting card skimmers on pumps or criminals trying to pull their usual shenanigans like they do at other gas stations. With prices entering the stratosphere with this unending war with Iran, we are fortunate to have an option like Costco to help us maintain our sanity.

But I still want to take the time to address this issue publicly I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the way I was treated at the Costco gas station located at 222 S. Martin Luther King Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89106. I have been a loyal Costco member for more than four years. Unfortunately, this month I simply forgot to renew my membership. When I attempted to purchase gas, I realized my membership had expired. I understand that Costco's policy requires an active membership to purchase fuel, and I respect that policy. What upset me was not the policy itself, but the way I was treated by the employee. The employee spoke to me in a rude and dismissive manner instead of explaining the situation professionally or offering guidance on how I could quickly renew my membership. To make matters worse, I was there with my 4-year-old child in 116-degree weather. We had already waited in line, and the interaction left us standing in the extreme heat without any empathy or assistance. A little kindness and professionalism would have made a significant difference. As a long-time member, I expected to be treated with courtesy and respect, even if I was unable to purchase gas because my membership had expired. I hope Costco will review this incident, speak with the employee involved, and reinforce the importance of treating members with respect and professionalism, especially in extreme weather conditions. I remain a loyal Costco customer and hope this feedback helps improve the experience for other members in the future.
