The atmosphere is super approachable, we forgot mats and they were quick to provide at no cost, with the silks well spaced out and a clean vibe throughout the space and equipment. Our instructor was very calm, provided easy to follow instructions and many modifications and great reminders to help get in a better headspace. I went to visit the club today and the young girl at the front desk was extremely pleasant and sweet. She gave me a price sheet, which is attached to this review. She let me tour the club and while it's not very big, it was also not very busy. I had been a member years ago and a few things have changed. After speaking with my girlfriend, I agreed that we would pre-pay an entire year because of the specials and the prices in the attached flyer. When I went to sign up, unfortunately, I was told the price would be $330 higher plus there would be an annual fee and an enrollment fee. If I'd not been shown one price and then given another, I would have felt informed, but in this case I felt differently. I do not believe the nice young lady at the front desk meant any harm or did anything wrong. But apparently staff communication might be an issue. So if you choose this club, make sure you understand exactly which pricing plan you're on. $189 per couple per month plus the additional fees can add up quickly. Convenience is great, but there are other options.

I can do that or Strength and Balance so I'm starting from a small amount offered for my level. I also could not understand one of the instructors that seems to be giving many classes. Her accent combined with her style of constantly changing equipment made it difficult to follow. I have mentioned this many times. Do it the northern location they may have issues with having instructors commuting from far distances. Many classes were wonderful but this location isn't for me anymore. I'd much rather climb here than have to drive an extra 40 minutes to BP. But if cleanliness is a sign of neglect and it's neglected, then one wonders what else is being put off. I did notice however the bathrooms were clean, the floor under the Auto-Belays was nice and vacuumed. They were multiple chalk eaters around the gym doing work. Perhaps things are headed in the right direction and the challenge of having an establishment where chalk is constantly in use is a tough one.
