    Great motivation for the gym!

Great experience! The staff and everyone was amazingly kind and helpful! Great amenities, including gym, jacuzzi, etc! I didn't get to use the pool but next time, I will! It was busy on the weekends but I was in a huge business leadership training conference on October 3-5! So Epic! The king bed was so big & spacious! Wish my husband could've been there! The pullout couch was great for my friends who visited! They brought us new sheets and blankets, when we asked. So nice! I'll be back again! Thank you, everyone! The night team and day team!

Stayed here on our lil getaway! Man I absolutely feel in love with this place! Right when you walked in it you can smell a wonderful breeze. This place is located at the end of the strip but walking distance to main part of the strip. It's a 9 minute ride from the airport so super convenient for your travel time. Checking in was a breeze, deposit for 2 nights was $250. Seems a lil steep but the place was worth the money! I felt like it was our lil home away from home lol. I feel in love with this place right when we arrived! They have a bar, pool, and cafe. Honestly I will be staying here again whenever I'm back in town!

I'm an RCI member, and this was one of the worst resort experiences I've ever had. Let me start by asking--why are we paying an $89 daily cleaning fee when we're staying for a week? That's nearly $600 just for someone to come in and tidy up, which barely happened, by the way. The front desk staff? Absolutely terrible. We asked for basic things like towels and washcloths, and the woman working there acted like we were a problem. Full of attitude, unprofessional, and rude. I don't know what's going on with their customer service, but it was one of the worst welcomes I've received at any resort--ever. Then, we asked a male housekeeper for help. He clearly understood us, but suddenly said, "I don't speak English." It was obvious he did, and it honestly felt disrespectful. If you work in hospitality, at the very least, pretend to care. To top it off, the resort itself is outdated. It looks old, tired, and in desperate need of renovation. Nothing about this place feels like a vacation--it feels like a mistake. Do yourself a favor and skip Desert Rose Resort. RCI should be ashamed to have this on their list.

The Desert Rose is a resort that features suites with kitchenettes just off the strip. It has a pool, a gym, and onsite kitchen for room service. I chose this lodging based on its proximity to the south end of the strip and Allegiant stadium. I was also looking for a hotel without the smoke and crowds of a casino. There weren't any unexpected "resort" or parking fees. The room was relatively clean, however, it seemed like the housekeeper got distracted while preparing it--the bed was half made and there were some prior tenants clothes behind the dresser. The kitchen was clean and there were enough pans/dishes to make dinner. Now the negatives: my room was located on a busy street and traffic noise was audible throughout the night. Most of the rooms are back from the roadway, I'm just lucky I guess. Another minor annoyance were the doors. None of them seemed like they were hung by professionals. They all had huge gaps. The main entrance door locked fine but I could see light and feel the cold air entering. The bathroom door was the same. The latch barely caught the strike plate to keep it closed. Finally, this resort is owned by a timeshare company. It's not a deal breaker but just be prepared to be approached by their salespeople who call themselves concierges when you check in. They will offer you a Vegas show or attraction in exchange of sitting through a sales presentation.

This was my Fiancée and my wonderful treasure in Las Vegas, Nevada. However, as in life, everything changes and so did the Desert Rose Resort. I would rename it the Ghetto Rose Resort Now! If you enjoy a nice resort, pleasant clientele, security for your personal items and your vehicle, then DO NOT GO HERE! The front lobby, yes looks like as always, but we stayed in the very last building. I noticed right aways the dying shrubbery and plants as compared to the first building. It says smoke free resort, but that doesn't stop the hallways smelling like POT at times in the evening. Our shower, literally, had dirty grout that the both of us noticed immediately. The both of us noticed immediately, that this was definitely not the same type of guests as usual staying here. We had a late check out, that they offered and we accepted. However, that didn't stop the cleaning crew and a handy man from trying to enter our room early in the morning on check out day while we were still in it. We even at one point called the front desk to make sure we did have a late check out, which we did. Now lets get to the straw that broke the camel's back. I expect with a timeshare security! A resort, security! Empathy, even if you have to fake it! Taking our bags to our vehicles, my own Vehicle was vandalized! As was five other cars staying at their resort. Which they found out about it, but decided to wait until we walked out to our vehicles. Do they have camera's? Their answer no! Supposedly they have security patrolling, although, in all the times I've stayed I've never seen security "Patrolling". Their make shift security person, has me write a statement on this simple form titled by another company with no address, phone number, and the resort information no where on the form. The Manager (Maybe that's who it was), DEAN, comes out and is empathetic for two seconds until he realizes we want the damage fixed that day or money / check issued. Then he passive aggressively explained that their cash clientele got refunds, but because we are time share OWNERS we get basically a food/drink voucher and some points back. We tried to explain that my Genesis is vandalized and I have to drive across a state and want compensation. He then goes to offer a list of local places that I can fix at my own expense (Which they were all closed). When my Fiancée went to the desk, the young lady literally smirked at her as she was expressing her frustration. I guess the front desk people think this is funny. Outside talking with this passive aggressive, DEAN, he tells I just need for you to "Acknowledge" that I gave you options. I explained what you need to do is go get me your business card. At one point, he curtly pointed at the sign on the wall that basically says the customer is liable for parking there, etc. etc. They have no cameras supposedly, but they knew a car with young people speed through the parking lot taking time to vandalize their clientele's cars. Thanks Ghetto Desert Rose Resort for a memorable time. My suggestion, if your are vacationing in Las Vegas, don't trust these people, the employees, or the security....

Checked in with no problem with Cindy who was nice. Get to our room and had brought food to cook and as soon as we started cooking a bug darts across the kitchen wall!!!! Screaming I leap to the phone and called the downstairs attendant Anthony and Gretta who agreed we could change rooms. Changing rooms in another building we noticed in the second room the weather stripping was absent on bottom of the entrance door so I'm sure any and everything crawling could be your roommate as you could see clear outside. Checking out this 2nd room ants all over the bathroom tub. Calling down tire again talking to Gretta that we need another room and would definitely be the last opportunity before needing our money back. We would have left here but there were no rooms available that would accommodate with the space we needed. So Gretta changes us out of that room and room 3 had no issues but the moving was very stressful lugging all of our luggage, food bags, and packs of water. So to comp the moves yea three moves they truly insulted me with a 25 dollar food credit which sounds nice but when the food is high as heck you can only get one thing and my whole family of 4 was inconvenienced..... we should have all been able to get something!! I got two small appetizers and it was still $5.80 over and instead of comping it all or giving us a better comp fee like 50.00 nope they still charged it to my room. Would I recommend nope at all!!!! This place sucks!!!! Ps there is construction going on as well but they need to do better period with hotel resort maintenance and quality checks. Run away!!!!! Spend your hard earned money else where.

First time staying here and enjoyed it! The pool was heated and the jacuzzi was perfect. Vegas was not that warm unfortunately while we were there a week ago but my kids would swim every night and not be cold! The offer a small bar menu which has decent food, we were there for my daughters cheer competition so when we needed a quick breakfast for her we would call it in and grab it on the way out. The breakfast was her favorite! The room was a good size for us and our kids. My only complaint was the room was always cold and if your turned on the heater it heated up super and became really hot. So it was cold or to warm and stuffy we had to keep adjusting the temperature to make it comfortable for everyone to sleep at night. I think that's my kids had the sniffles and my throat was all scratchy. It was never really comfortable temp wise in the room. Staff where great, customer service was great. Everyone that worked there just seemed happy which made the stay even nicer. They were quick to help with any of your needs! Is you needed pool towels you just ask the front desk. It was a great stay and close to the strip. It's about a $10-$13 Uber to get to like the middle of the strip area or you can even walk too. If it wasn't so Cold we would have walked instead of Ubers. We where there for 6 nights. The kitchen has pots, pans, cups, plates, etc, blender as well. Stove, microwave and dish washer (dish washer didn't work very good). Coffee maker in the kitchen as well. Nice size fridge too. There was 1 but pot too if yuh wanted to make like chili or something.

    Late night swim!

First Impressions: The hotel has one of the best scents in Vegas; if you know, you know. Whatever they're using in the vents, paired with their designated smoking areas, really keeps the air noticeably fresher than most other casino hotels. Check-In & Service: Big shoutout to Kim at the front desk for such a warm welcome. She gave us a choice between a room close to the elevator or midway down the hall, and advised going with the latter since the hotel was hosting a cheer convention (i.e., excited kids everywhere!). Her advice was spot on and her customer service was top notch. Truly a fantastic way to start our weekend. Room: Our room was gorgeous: spacious, super clean, and well maintained. We had a great pool view, loved the privacy door for the toilet, and the stone-walled shower with a bench was a nice upgrade. There was also a large soaking tub with a clear view into the bedroom, a desk, and a separate seating area with two ridiculously comfy leather chairs. Pool & Amenities: After unpacking, we went straight to the pool. The main area has two large pools separated by a walkway and cabanas, with two jacuzzis at the end near a huge outdoor screen. There's also a day club if you're looking for a party vibe, complete with its own bar, pool, cabanas, and a live DJ. We enjoyed relaxing in the sun and loved the easy access to drinks from the mid-bar or roaming servers (didn't get a chance to try the food this time, but maybe next visit!). Parking & Fees: There is plenty of parking available in the lots, which makes coming and going a breeze. A $40 or $50 daily resort fee does apply, but that's pretty typical these days and didn't feel out of the ordinary. Final Thoughts: Every detail, from the clean air to the thoughtful service and beautiful property, made this a memorable stay. M Resort is definitely a notch above most Vegas hotels. Highly recommend, and can't wait to come back!

Staff was professional and the atmosphere is much calmer compared to most casino hotels in Las Vegas, which can actually be a big plus if you want a more relaxed environment. One important thing to know - if your room is on a lower floor, don't expect much of a view. Some lower-floor rooms face the back side of nearby buildings and the experience is completely different compared to the higher floors. I would strongly recommend asking for a higher floor upgrade if possible, because the views are significantly better and really change the overall impression of the hotel. The fact that the hotel is non-casino is actually nice and makes the property feel more peaceful and less chaotic than many Vegas resorts. Overall, a good hotel, but room location and floor level make a huge difference here.

Last time we were here it was a special occasion and we went all out. We walked all though the strip just to get here to ride the gondola. Boy was that fun. No, it wasn't the same as the ones in Venice (I know because I've been in Venice and ridden one of their gondolas), but you know that going in. You're in Vegas so I didn't expect the same thing. I was looking forward to the Vegas version of this classic ride and I got it. Was it over priced? Yes. At the same time you get what you pay for. A fun ride around the camels in the Venetian Resort in Las Vegas. There was supposed to be an photographer taking our picture so we can buy at the end, but his camera malfunctioned so we didn't get the shot. This was a huge disappointment as I'm all about pictures and I really wanted the opportunity to see the glamorous shot the professional photographer took and if it captured the. Moment like i had I would have bought it. Fortunately we weren't totally relaying on him. We brought our own camera and took the perfect shot with the gondolier in the background and the bridge when you come out. It was perfect. You didn't have all the busyness of Vegas in the background. I'm overly thrilled with my photo, I got exactly what I paid for a fun ride and the perfect shot to frame and remember this day. And yes, I really did frame it and it sits on my piano. As long as you know what you're paying for, it's totally worth it. And now that you've seen my shot and know that it's taken at the end of the ride when you come out from under the bridge, you can get the same shot too. Have fun and enjoy Vegas and the Venetian. Maybe even walk around the quaint streets and have some ice cream after your ride.

The Venetiancontinues to be one of my favorite places on the strip for many reasons. I like the…read moreroom quality, ease of parking/transportation, casino vibe, and restaurant selection. For the Hotel/Resort: The basic rooms here are better than the majority of other strip hotels. I personally think its top 3, even a small upgrade here gets you a very spacious room. I have stayed in the regular rooms and suites at both The Venetian and The Palazzo. The venetian rooms are more updated, but the Palazzo rooms are good too. The self parking has a lot of spaces but ingress/egress is easier at The Palazzo. However the valet parking here is faster compared to other resorts. The rideshare pickup/dropoff is good too. The casino floor is bright, clean, and good gaming variety. For the slots, I like that they have both old and new machines. I like the older "top dollar" and "run for your money" machines. I also like some of the new machines like KONG . They also have a great variety of video poker, blackjack, roulette, and craps! I have yet to play at the tables here but they have a good variety. The beverage service is good, but coverage/timing could be improved. I feel like some parts of the casino floor do not get as much service. They also have a great variety of food and restaurant options for all budgets. My personal favorite here is Estiatorio Milos. A close second would be SushiSamba. However, I have never had a bad meal here. I also recommend Sugarcane, Chica, Cote, and Smith/Wollensky. I still want to try the other options here! Overall great place to stay or check out. I always leave here feeling great!

First, the good... it's still cool. I mean, not cool as in temperature (in general they keep it much too warm in there), but interesting decor and art. Although it needs to be updated and freshened up a bit. The VIP lounge (for Platinum/Noir MGM members) is nice. They even have menus listing the available food and drink options. The bad... the AC is terrible. The hallways were cooler than our room but the elevators were stifling and even the gaming floor is kept too warm. We called for help with our AC and they couldn't do anything except bring us a fan and give us a small food and beverage credit. The tech in the room is awful too. Our TVs didn't work for much of the trip, which was a problem as we were hosting friends to watch election returns come in. Again, nothing they could do as it was a "system outage". And the internet was even worse. Most of the time it would barely allow downloads. It was also impossible to get anyone to help you - particularly on the phone. We were there during the week, NOT on a weekend, and still any call to the front desk or operator was met with very long hold times. There is also apparently no way to reach the VIP desk on the phone, even though of course they do have phones there. This is still our favorite hotel in Vegas, but it's much closer now. The lack of a real high limit slot room doesn't help (they are "renovating") and we also feel like the slot selection isn't being kept current - almost no new games. Still some great restaurants and those views from the balcony rooms cannot be beat. But some attention needs to be paid to get the Cosmo back in peak form.

After inserting my money and beginning to place my bets, an elderly gentleman abruptly approached me and claimed he had credits on the screen I was using. Unfortunately, the situation quickly escalated. He repeatedly poked my back and shoulder while insisting I was in his seat and using credits that belonged to him. The exact amount in question was unclear, as I had been moving from game to game and had not been keeping track. The gentleman continued raising his voice, getting in my face, and placing his hands on me, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. The dealer handled the situation as professionally as possible and immediately contacted security once physical contact was made. I greatly appreciated his efforts to de-escalate the situation and maintain professionalism throughout the incident. When the floor manager arrived, she attempted to resolve the matter and kindly offered compensation in the form of lunch or dinner, which I accepted and appreciated. While the experience itself was upsetting, I am thankful for the dealer's professionalism and for the staff making an effort to address the situation. I was about to file a complaint and possibly call the police. At the end...I still feel like she favored the elderly man because he was Caucasian male and old. This issue could have been resolved if I felt understood & assured I was in the right.
