I have been with Dr. Jerome Cutler for around 8 years. Each visit deepens my sense of gratitude about how lucky I am to have such an outstanding dentist in every aspect of his field. What equally important is his extraordinary honesty: I needed implant. My previous dentist told me that I needed two implants, but Dr. Cutler, after hearing what my previous dentist's assertion, he told me "only one implant". Everyone easily know that 2 implants would end up with two same amount of charges. But Dr. Cutler put patient's well being before his personal gain. I just wonder how many dentists are able to take his route. There is a well-known story: a son of a dentist gradated from dentist school and entered the field as his dad. One day the son treated a patient with the same symptoms as his dad's. After his treatment, he asked his father :"how come it took you so long to treat this problem?" His father answered :"this was how I paid off your dental tuition". the story reveals the significance of having an honest dentist. what happened this morning equally touched my heart and will be grateful and be remembered forever: I found a swelling lump on my gum, yet it gives no pain to me. So I did not take it very seriously, but did make a call to the office and got an appointment for next week. But this morning, It occurred to me that the virus can be spreading so I was in a panic to call the office again this morning. after a while, the automatic voice told me : " this office is closed for Fridays.". so I hang up frustrated. just minutes later, a call came in and turned out to be from the dentist office staff member, Chanele. She asked me about the reason for my call and the details about my lump on the gum. She told me that she would contact the dentist and called me back soon. As promised, minutes later she called me back with the results: medication prescription has been sent to my pharmacy and the doctor will see me on Monday. Now my medical case is under control, yet with deep gratitude for my dentist and his staff member, Chanele. without her picking up my call on her off day, my case would have never reached my dentist. She is so devoted and patient to ask for every details and the location of my pharmacy. Surely also on the day off, my dentist made great effort to write prescription and made an urgent appointment for the first business day after weekends. my experience also reveals a truth: how significant for a patient to find a great doctor: with a strong sense of integrity, honesty along with outstanding competence to be able to handle our needs most effectively. Went in for a basic cleaning / x ray update, impressed by the introductory new patient offer they advertised. They are definitely keeping up a healthy competition in the plethora of dental offices in this city. Also, they have an in-house insurance policy where you can pay a low monthly amount to qualify for a discount on major work, plus receiving regular annual cleanings and exams for free. For people like me who don't have dental insurance this is a great deal. Staff is pleasant and I was seen promptly. The facility is very clean and modern. X-Ray technology is faster and smoother than ever before. I truly hate going to the dentist, but this place makes the experience bearable. I was going to a different office that's a few minutes closer to where I live, but I think I'm going to switch to Desert Sky for future appointments. read more

I've had some very bad experiences with dentists in the past and gotten the run around so many times which made me really have major anxiety going to the dentist but not anymore. I went in today for a cleaning for the very first time at this office. My overall experience with the office staff and cleaning was very good! Helene their Hygienist did an awesome job with my cleaning and Dr. Cutler was very helpful and clear about what could be fixed after looking at my x-rays and Amie their office manager gave me a break down of my treatment plan and how the expense can be covered. I was looking forward to having a new dental Office. My first appointment I was running late. I spoke with Joan and asked if I should reschedule or still come to my appointment although I was going to be about 15 minutes late and my Paper work was not filled out. She responded and told me to still come. I arrive and walk to the front desk and I am told with an extreme attitude " don't you live close to here? You know your appointment was at 230" ( Like I am a child) this is the same woman I spoke with on the phone and said to still come in even though I was late. Also, why is anyone looking at my address to see how far I live. That is not acceptable.That is completely creepy and unprofessional. It is also making me feel unsafe that anyone would look at my address. So I am absolutely reporting this place. To see how far I live from the dental office is insane. I sat down to recollected what just happened and decided to leave. I do not think this type of treatment is okay. I am completely appalled. Do not recommend this place at all. It started with a slight toothache and of course grew to the point I knew I needed help. Trusting the reviews on several web sites I choose Desert Sky. Filling out new patient forms on line was easy and the check in was courteous. Dr Cutler explained my options and was super friendly. I ended up replacing g two caps and the dreaded root canal. Got a cleaning today. No big deal right? Normally feels like just an upsell to get you keep coming back. This was very different. Keri is the hygienist. 17 years rocking the chair. Definitely feels like I got a cleaning. She used all the familiar torture tools but I could instantly tell she knew her stuff. Let's put it this way, normally at a cleaning I feel some kind of way about the hygienist after I get out of the chair. This wasn't that type of experience at all. Lady has skills. But the thing that set this visit apart for me was when the Doc came in to check on me and let me know where this cleaning fit in the overall plan of getting me right. In my experience the hygienist is alone and unafraid and getting a cleaning is just something you do because you're supposed to. This wasn't that. Doc is trying to get my teeth and gums to as a healthy a place as possible. Listening to them discuss what they were shooting for with the cleaning was different. Like I said earlier. Doc Cutler is the goods and it looks like his whole staff is on point as well. read more

I found this place on yelp so I made an appointment for a check out of a tooth ache that I had and that I would pay cash because I had no insurance. So once arriving I was taken to a room in about 15 mins. At this time I had X-rays done and then eventually I was greeted by the actual dentist. He asked which tooth hurt and so I showed him and then he came back in with the X-rays explaining on how decayed my tooth was and that I will need a root canal ASAP, which felt weird to me because I have never had a cavity or anything wrong with my teeth ever. So I asked how much and he said $3000 so I said I will have to see because I can't spend that much right now. Once he heard me say that here comes a nurse with all these forms and pamphlets explaining that they do financing and I can just do payments. I then told them no again and went home. I thought that was extremely shady so I just went home and took mouth wash about 3 to 4 times a day and in about a week the pain went away fully and has never returned. Always seek out more options because a lot of these businesses are here to take your money than to just help you "honestly". I will never come back here or send anyone here. I just recently went to another dentist and they ran an X-ray and said my teeth are perfect just needed a cleaning lol. These people are liars and here to make a quick buck and that's it Thank You read more

I thought the place looked really nice when I walked in. All I got was a nod from the girl at the desk. I saw as I walked up she was on her cell phone right out in the open. Not very professional. After filling out paperwork I had a fancy head xray taken and regular xrays. The girls taking the xrays seemed smiley and friendly. The doctor came in looked at the xrays, looked at my mouth and left. I wanted my cleaning and they were able to fit me in. The girl who cleaned my teeth was helpful and very good, she tried her best to answer all my questions. The lady who came in to talk to me about a filling I needed seemed more interested in her cell phone watch. She kept glancing at it. The office is not bad, but somewhat distant. I had to stop In for an emergency appointment while on vacation. This place was great. The staff was more than friendly and helpful. They had everything ready for me and didn't make me feel like my emergency was a burden on them. I got called in to the room quickly was helped by a friendly hygienist. The room had a cool scene painting on the wall and a huge TV to keep me entertained. Most importantly the room was clean and organized. After signing an agreement for treatment I was forced to pay an additional $1,800 to complete the work after it was started. The cashier falsified the contract and I had no choice. Read entirely those papers they give you to sign on the first visit because they include one that you give away all your rights to litigate. I was told by them that if I tried to fight this charge their lawyers would come after me for a lot more money. In retaliation for my trying to take it to court Sahara Dental is now filing false claims against me with the credit bureau. I have all the receipts and contract to prove my case. Seem friendly at first until you have an issue, then whole attitude changes. Went in for a routine cleaning that's supposed to be covered by insurance. Told me nothing was owed when I left the office that day. Couple of months later received a bill. Talked to "3" different people about this. Told me that they would take care of it. Nobody talks to anybody in that office. I've told them that I was not pleased with the service I received the last time I was there and another month goes by and a new person calls. Tell them the same thing I told the last and so on and so on. Last phone call was a week ago, telling me that it's a new year and time to take more of mine and my insurances money, so to speak. Gave them the same story again then she tells me there is still money owed to them. After explaining it again and getting nowhere she said they would send it to collections. I just received a letter 2 days ago from a collection agency. Who in this world gets that taken care of so quick. It's all about money with these people. read more

Okay I am with the other patients review everything is fine until you have a issue. Denise the office manager is rude and disrespectful to say the least! We started with this dentist when their practice first opened in Summerlin. Money wasn't put into the computer as payment was made to our account. She would never give me a receipt even though I always ask. She always told me everything is in the computer you're fine. Then the girl ended up no longer working there. Kinda weird, huh? They totally messed up my daughters braces and ruined my teeth! They filed my teeth down so much the enamel is gone. My teeth hurt and everything has to be room temperature because of it. They are holding my daughters retainer until her braces are paid off. And to my calculations and my insurance paying $1500 they are paid off. They will NOT seperate my account from hers and are keeping her retainer as payment. This dentist office is a joke! If you want a great dentist go to Las Vegas Modern Dentistry. read more
