We got a call from Chad who let us know that we were confirmed and when to arrive to grab the unit. They hooked us up with an RV that had the things we needed along with a generator in case we stayed somewhere with no electricity we traveled to San Diego and up the coast. The RV was clean and stocked with everything we could need. It was an amazing experience and I highly recommend you try it. When we returned the RV Chad made it so easy, and helped us get it all checked in! They also rent UTVs and we can't wait to come back and give them a try they were super affordable compared to the Cruise America RV rentals that wanted to charged us triple the cost that Apache Canyon Rentals charged. They were kind, funny, and very helpful. They took us on a great relaxing ride and by the end of it I felt like an experienced rider! The horses were beautiful and very easy to ride. They fit us for our size compared to their horses before and gave us instructions and information on how to ride and deal with the horses. They gave us a water bottle for our trip too. The trail was beautiful and scenic and it was nice to pet and love on the horse too. Plenty of photo ops and Rick stopped and took photos for us on the horses! I would absolutely recommend Cave Creek Outfitters for a beautiful ride in the Tonto Forest. Thank you guys!!

We tackled some short hills nicely. How do you know you can take on these hills? Well there would be tire paths which means its been done before. Although think about it though before doing anything too crazy, unless you know what youre doing! Experience was nothing short of extreme, perfect for a short 2 hour excursion. Called Mike on a Saturday and we were tearing it up early the next morning. I brought my 3 boys and we met Mike as early as I could rally the troops in the morning around 7:00am. When we got to the house, Mike had mentioned him and a friend he had at the house were going out riding as well and were planning on making their way to a little pond headed south on the Hassayampa and invited us to join them. I gladly took the offer and we had the BEST time. Plenty of areas to gas it, up hills, splashing through the river - we got it all in just a few hours. We'd stop every so often for a water break and a snack break and my boys had zero complaints about anything. They loved every minute of the trip. Even swapped drivers and got my oldest in the driver's seat and he was pumped. I just can't say what an amazing memory for me and my boys this was and Mike made it all happen for us. With Mike's guidance through the terrain, I was 100% confident in everything we did! This was a bucket list day for an old man! I was visiting my convention going wife in Phoenix and…read moredecided I needed a "me" day. I found RTR and booked before I left Va. I picked up a beast of a bike at the shop and headed out into the desert for a day. The only things I brought were some long socks, underwear, and T shirt. He had absolutely EVERYTHING you could need down to the camelback hydro backpack. There is terrain for all levels in the Tonto National Forrest, which is practically out his back door. I think the only thing I would do differently would be to bring someone with me. I was a little nervous about wrecking or getting lost out there, but neither came close to happening. Maybe it was for the best that I was a little conservative anyway. The scenery and wildlife were stunning and I'm still moved by the experience. I'm already thinking about how I can back there in the fall.
