During my last visit on the 29th of September I was tired after a very long week of working for Amazon and left a very sentimental ring, in plain site of someone cleaning the room, as they are supposed to after every visit. After frantically calling three or four times, I was told the ring was no where to be found. I understand the lost items policy and luckily, the ring has since been replaced, as much as possible. However, even though I am writing this review on the 10th of October, I was still charged for the account. Not looking to be refunded for the ring, but at least my account, seeing the circumstance as to why I have not visited since. Although, nothing was wrong per se with the salon itself, I feel the pricing is completely off for the beds and service. Normally, at a tanning salon you're paying for the customer service involved. Not cleaning your own bed, being able to ask them to restart the beds if it auto turns on and you run out of time getting lotion on, no door access needed, or hassle calling someone who may not answer, and ID checks for minors. It also seems that setting up and getting started is a bit of an issue virtually. It took about an hour to an hour and a half to get started and when I came out to do my red light session, another couple was getting set up and I couldn't wait another hour. Also, you can't "cocktail" or do red light and tan and go from room to room, you need to stop and clean and then send the time in to the room at the front and get undressed again. I also don't feel very safe with the location of this area as the abandoned Häggen is a seedy area to be vulnerable and alone in. Anyone with money can get into this establishment, they do not check licenses or ID as nobody works in the store, that's a violation of RCW 18.370.020. The highest level beds are just decent, one has some bulbs out (that they're working on) and the other is out of order (also being worked on). They're also replacing the lower tiered beds with mini saunas with red light which is cool, but cuts down significantly on your tanning ability as you need to hop in different beds to get a great tan. Lotions are priced great, but not sure if they monitor their expiration dates (12 months) as Dylan told me over the phone that they're actually good for three years or as long as they "smell good". My husband reached out about a refund less than 24 hours after we had gone as I feel VERY unsafe and dissatisfied with my first experience and Dylan asked he call to discuss "options", but we don't even have an account created? Dylan never texted my husband back, I thought it was 24/7 service? This place feels unsafe and like an easy scam.

Awful customer service. I have felt pressured to buy something EVERY SINGLE TIME I popped in. Even if I have purchased a lotion, have an active package etc. Last time I was in I was told I had two sessions left. Cool I thought, I'll run these out and find a new salon. Stopped in today to use what should have been my last session, and of course she started per usual by trying to sell me a package. I said nope, I just want to use my last session-- to which she responded I don't have any hm... I could care less whether I had one or none left. Drove right to desert sun and bought a new package there. I don't easily feel pressured, and also understand commission based jobs. If I have felt pressured like this every time I came to the salon, I am sure others have felt similar. One time she even got me to buy a lotion that I 100% didn't want or need. You are probably losing business because of it, and your associates need better training :)

I then purchased 3 credits, which was not explained with the pricing and so it was more expensive than what I had seen. I asked about it and the person got snippy and looked at me like I was an inconvenience. Then I used the wellness pod and the fan wasn't working so it was hot and uncomfortable but I pushed through. Brought it up as I was getting ready to go and told "oh yeah that happens, we will put in another ticket". No apology or anything for a machine that wasn't fully functioning. The kicker? I then decided to try the anti aging stand up red light machine which was supposed to have vibration on the floor to vibrate the body. I tried the whole 12 minutes to get it to work and when I told them it didn't "are you sure? It should work, it did earlier." No sorry or anything just making me feel like an idiot (which I'm not). I know how to use the machines, they just didn't work. I probably won't be back to this location as I felt like I was more of a bother than anything even though it wasn't my fault that their machines didn't work properly and I was out 3 credits for half functioning things.....

I had only had one spray tan in the past, and the girl did an awesome job, but I didn't put enough effort into the before and after care to make sure it lasted as long as possible. This time, when I booked with Amy, I made sure to listen closely and take notes on what I needed to do before and after my spray tan. Amy and I had a quick phone call when I reached out about the appointment. I scheduled at least a month in advance, so I can't really speak to how easily you could get in last minute. I had no problems scheduling. Our phone call was super helpful. We went through all of the instructions and she gave me a lot of before care advice that I followed until my appointment. When it was finally appointment day, I went in for my spray tan! Amy was super welcoming and kind. She told me my skin looked good for the spray tan, which was music to my ears, because I had been doing all of her before care suggestions! We talked a bit about which spray tan option I would go for and what shade I wanted to achieve. We ended up deciding on a rapid tan option with a medium shade. I think I left it on for about 4-5 hours... Throughout my appointment, Amy was very respectful and friendly. She gave me product recommendations for body wash and sunscreen, which was super helpful! When the appointment ended, we realized it was raining outside. I didn't have an umbrella, so Amy offered to walk me out to my car with one of her umbrellas! It was one of the nicest things ever. She escorted me to my car and we said our goodbyes. She made it clear that I could reach out to her with any questions or concerns, which was super nice! After 4-5 hours, I took a shower and rinsed off (no soap). When I woke up the next day, I had an absolutely beautiful bronze glow! I truly was amazed by how gorgeous the color was. It got me extra excited for my trip. :) The spray tan lasted throughout the entirety of my trip, although it did fade a bit (which was inevitable because I was in the ocean quite a bit). When we packed up to come home, I still had a little bit of color on my body. I was surprised that it lasted that long! I know that it was due to the advice that Amy gave me for after care. As a tip: she only accepts cash so make sure you have that on hand. Don't worry though, she'll go through all of this with you before your appointment! Overall, I had a 10/10 experience with Amy and Simply Bronzed! I would highly recommend her to anyone. Thank you Amy!!!! :)

I got the rapid tan (highly recommend) because it's super convenient to be able to wash off sooner. The staying power of this tan is amaaaaazing. I went to Maui for a week-- snorkeled, swam in the pool and hot tub, got a friggin massage, and it didn't budge! It also isn't fading weird at all. Thank you! I'll definitely be back.
