Everything about this place is excellent, the girls,the cleaniness, helpfulness,location, but seriously have not changed the bulbs in years. I pay a lot for tanning and red light therapy and have to go 6 times a week for a little color. It's ridiculous,and the poor women who work there are told to say take it up with corporate we can't do anything. Sucks cuz their all very awesome. They don't respond to emails as well cuz I tried. Pretty disappointed in Tropical Tan. Been going to their various locations for years and had to freeze my account back in January while my daughter went through chemo. I should have had credits built up, but went in to unfreeze my account and was told I owed them over $120 because a $10 monthly payment didn't go through and they apparently charged me $30 per month since then. Haven't got a single call or email from them and out it either. read more

WORST BEDS EVER, I do not think the bulbs have been replace in years. I go there about 6 days a week and still no color. I had to finally use the stand up bed in #6 and i do not want to HAVE to stand. It cast a lot to tan so i am sure they can afford to replace the bulbs sheeesh. I've been to about 9 of the different tropical tans and the Everett location was by far the best experience I've had. The new manager there was gorgeous and so knowledgeable. I never believed in lotion before and she spent so much tome explaining every type and brand to me until we found the best one for me. The customer service was ok for most part but there were never ever any robes available or mess hats or towels super inconvenience to ask after red light and getting redressed to have to catch someones attention because spray wasn't prepared. I put my membership o. Hold because i thought id really need red light for winter time depression they charged 20$ because they could pull a 5$ fee one month. I bought a hemp spray that nozzle was broken bought teeth whitening that light was broken hmmm lets see what else oh yes when I went to cancel my membership they told me they would have to reactivate my membership charge me a pro rated fee to than cancel membership. I will be spreading the word sharky sharky business NEVER again! P.s. I'm a very easy customer. read more

They charge your card after you have cancelled, Do not go here the gym convenience is not worth it , they charge your card repeatedly and when you call location to stop it they give you a phone number that only goes to voice mail--- ever! I cancelled in June and I am still being charged and its DEC! After monthly and now weekly attempts to get it to stopped the only way to make it stop is to change my bank account and damage my credit, Its a scam, Do not join, Do not its a trap. sign nothing run away. If u have to go bathroom or want to pay in cash, u could run into problems. Learn to run for it and don't bring over a 10.00 bill they won't be able to break it or can the gym. read more

I was charged the full amount ($73) for a month I wasnt even able to use. When I called their client services the manager was extreme rude and refused to even refund the amount of the month I wasn t able to tan for.....I wish I would have read the reviews before because as I'm seeing im not the 1st thats had issuses. I have been going here for over 5 years and in doing so given thousands of dollars for this businesses service. I just had surgery and am unable to tan for several months. when I went to cancel I was told they are going to continue to charge me for 2 more months for no reason what so ever. I am not in a contract and now am not coming back to this rip off business that steals from loyal customers when they cancel service. First off I'm a pasty pink/white Caucasian naturally dirty blonde easily freckled woman. Amberly (the manager) has helped me so much. She is so knowledgeable about the products and beds. I lost a lot of weight really fast and have been a member for yrs with the VIP membership. Never once did anyone ever explain or even offer red light therapy. Not only has it shrunk my skin and stretch marks but is has cleared up my acne and scars from previous surgery. Kasey (assistant manager) always greets me with a smile and a welcoming phrase she's kind, courteous and down to earth. I've been going to tanning salons since I was 17, that is 10 yrs! I've been going to the evergreen location since the quarantine was lifted. The beds are consistent and clean. The girls I've gotten to know, understand their product and are excellent at explaining the what, why, how, love of the products and or beds. It's my SAFE space, my ME time and I just adore these girls! I would like to say thank you to Amberly for the life altering suggestion for red light therapy, because it helps so much with my scoliosis and depression (a great way to start my day)! Kasey, thank you for having such a bright attitude when I show up a half-hour before closing (I have a crazy schedule) you always greet me, you're considerate, clean, thoughtful and for educating me about the spray tans and sealant! What can I say? I'm a fan of my tan and these gals made it happen! I've always been teased that I look like an oompa loompa. Absolutely incredible tanning salon. Tropical Tan Lake City was actually the first tanning salon I had ever tried! And for good reason. They have always had amazing equipment and great customer service. The girls are always very sweet and never ever rude or condescending. They don't overly push you to buy products or packages and they are very laid back but still chipper. I love the beds they are all the latest and greatest equipment with great bulbs and I always get really good color. I also love the Red Light Therapy Bed which is my new favorite! They also have amazing deals $$$ wise, I have the unlimited package which includes unlimited EVERYTHING - every bed level, red light therapy, and unlimited spray tans for $59.65 a month which is SUCH a killer deal. The last tanning salon I used to go to BEFORE Tropical Tan was absolutely terrible. They had outdated equipment, horrible customer service, inconvenient location etc and I was paying like 100$ a month. So thankful to be with Tropocd is a miracle to me! This tanning salon is exactly what every other salon/spa should be...relaxing, clean, up to date, high quality lotions/skin care and most importantly the girls that work here are competent and very sweet. They are accommodating and if Im doing a spray tan after my bed they always remind me to grab a robe so I don't have to deal with getting dressed undressed dressed and undressed again and I really do appreciate that they pay attention to the small details like that during every visit. The only downsides to this salon is that its located inside of a gym and it doesn't have its own entrance - you have to actually go in through the gym entrance but that isn't a huge deal. And the second thing in my opinion is that they don't have a Versa Spa spray tan machine (I have been using the Versa Spa for spray tans for years) but they do have a Pura. I actually love the concept and design of the Pura better, it seems like better technology than the VERSA and it has a prep AND a finish coating. I am still trying out the Pura to see which level and what color works the best for me and then i can say Im 100% team Pura lol. I also tend to be a procrastinator and although I usually tan earlier in the day before work/errands sometimes (like on Sundays) I tend to show up at the last minute. Last night I got there at 5:50pm and they close at 6 and they didnt rush me at all like some salons do AND they let me do my red light therapy bed AND full time in my tanning bed. It was so nice and relaxing and they were so sweet about it. I highly recommend Tropical Tan to everyone! read more

I go here tanning almost every time I need to tan because it's so close to my house. Theres 3 things I don't like about this particular location tho... 1) I don't like how it's inside a gym and there's no entrance of its own from outside. 2) The parking is also pretty bad, 90% of the time pretty much ALL the spaces are tooken up from everyone that's at the gym. 3) Half the time you either can't go in the tanning/red light therapy bed U want because someone's already using it or either someone has an appointment in that bed coming up. That's why it's better to call the salon in advance and schedule an appointment to tan so you can have the bed U want. Other than that, the employees are sweet, the place is nice & all the beds are top notch. My favorite bed is the best one they have, room #2. They sell tanning lotions there, but like any other tanning salon the prices are outrageous. But all in all, it's a good salon! read more

This Place is pretty awesome..... I've been to almost every single tanning salon in Everett and finally found my winner...every month there's some sort of deal, "friend tans free" " free hemp lotion" "buy one get one 40% off" I love how clean it is, I love all the beds, and I really love how nice all the girls are! They are knowledgable, and know their stuff, especially about the lotions! They are organized when it's super busy in there and strike up conversations just to make the time go by as people are waiting for beds. The most helpful is thing is that I can call and make An appointment and get right in to tan without even having to wait, which in my opinion is the way to go! I LOVE that these girls aren't your typical tanning salon girls........ No ones OVERTANNED and looks orange and no one dresses half naked. My only complaint is that you have to walk in through the gym.......but if you have that gym membership you get an even better deal on your tanning package so that's even a bigger and better plus... Go to this salon you won't be disappointed!! read more
