It is way more than just a plant nursery. My husband and I like to come here on Sunday mornings and just sit by the ponds to just unplug , relax, and listen to the sounds of nature. It is such a good getaway from the over stimulization of everyday life. You can come here and just walk through all the pretty flowers and plants or have a picnic on their many picnic tables. You can buy fish food from the front desk to feed the fishes and turtles in the pond. On every first Saturday of every month they have "free succulent Saturday" which is a local makers market with all kind of different treasures. Every adult can get a pick of a succulent and they are a decent size! I was surprised! They also do kids crafts and have food and drinks for sell. I would also follow their Instagram as they have classes throughout the year. All in all, Waterwise is a place you surely do not want to skip out on if you like nature, plants,free things to do, or just looking for something the whole family could enjoy!

We had to go to the checkout to ask for help and to figure out which plants we could choose from as the directions are a little vague. The kid that ended up helping us was friendly and very patient while I asked questions. I ended up going into the nursery (my favorite spot) to pick up a couple more plants and even got a few avocados at checkout. The only reason why I will continue to give 5 stars even with a not so good experience is 100% your cashier. He is my absolute favorite and I will continue to come back for all my plant needs as long as he's there!

If you're a foodie or if you enjoy rare or tropical fruit or even if you're a fan of botanical gardens, this place is amazing It's a mom and pop place (actually just a pop place cause I think the owner Steve who started it still runs it by himself). The sign said they have been here since the 80s. Anyway because it's a small nursery and open 7 days a week, it's a good idea to call if you're planning to make a long journey to visit just to make sure they haven't stepped out. It's usually fine but I see people on other reviews have come in from far away without calling and it's just a good idea to call if it's a mom and pop nursery and you have a long drive. My favorite fruit was white sapote, cherimoya, the bazillions of types of guavas they have, ice cream bean was delicious, and I never knew palms have delicious fruit (what????). I come about twice a year from San Diego and as San Diego nurseries go, this place is in a league of its own. I even just like walking around in there to relax cause it's almost like a fruit botanical garden. And some of the small stuff is very affordable Highly recommend if you have a few hours free to explore this place. It's a great nursery -- kinda like the Garden of Eden!

The scene that will greet you is a dirt path and two-sided parking spaces. Try them, very wooded and dense, like you are in the forest, which I loved since I am from back East and we have huge trees and green wooded areas. The staff are very knowledgeable and the value is great. If your plant doesn't grow, call them, and they guide you or replace the plant. I love this place. If I had a house, I would be here for my roses and fruit plants.

The variety of plant options starting from seed, to transplant ready, to productive trees is astonishing. The staff knows the ins and outs of all the different types of plants they carry and how to care for them, as well as very nice and easy to work with! We were given excellent recommendations and took home a heritage raspberry plant and highland blueberry plant. Both have been great and productive for my home and I'll be hopefully coming back again soon to pick up more!
