    My cleaning went very well, I have a cavity that I'm getting a filling on and she made sure to be very gentle and took her time.

    Love this dentist all the ladies are very friendly and professional. I reccomend Dr. Goodman to everyone asking ab for it dental work.

    I had several caps that they did fail, Some broke and some fell out. Stay away, Bad Dentist.

This must be their common up sell tactic to get as much money as possible. When I was surprised about the price I got a lot of push back and attitude. This place is a business interested in making money as apposed to delivering best treatment. Also, when I first tried to cancel my appointments they convinced me that I had no other option. Later on when I found out that I had a large balance unpaid by my insurance I called back and cancelled all of my appointments, not without attempted persuasion and fear tactics not to. For instance, after trying to cancel appointments and deactivate my service, I was reminded that I am not allowed to deactivate until my full balance has been paid. I have a very gross feeling, and also I am unhappy to have spent thousands of dollars in the past months when it wasn't totally necessary.

I've spent several hours in frustration on the phone & internet trying to fix their unethical Balance Billing. If you value your time, sanity & possibly even your credit rating DO NOT GO THERE. I was appalled by my interaction with Melinda G. (MG). Her snappy, matter-of-fact attitude & condescending, smug tone left me wondering why she works in a place where she needs to talk to people. MG was beyond rude and just plain awful while I was trying to resolve A BILLING ERROR with her. In Dec. 2014 I paid for Dental Insurance to begin in Jan. 2015. I found that MDH was an In-Network Provider for our new Ins. & was accepting new patients. I called to set up Initial Office Exams and X-Rays for my husband & I. The gal I initially talked to got my Ins. info & verified it PRIOR to setting our appointments. Our appointments were back-to-back on 1/5/15. After checking in we waited while they verified the Ins. coverage AGAIN. AFTER they verified the Ins. covered 100% with no co-pay (everything was Preventative) I went back for my x-rays. The young man doing them mentioned that one of my xrays might not be covered (while I was actually in the seat having them done), but I shouldn't worry, that they would take care of it. Everyone was warm & welcoming thus far, so I felt comfortable in trusting that they would indeed take care of it. Sometime in Feb. 2015 I received a bill from MDH. I called & spoke to a gal who was very pleasant. The gal, who I didn't get the name of, told me not to worry about it, that it was a billing error & that they would take care of it. I threw the bill away and didn't think about it again until 5/21/2015. On 5/21/2015 I got a bill for $153.00. I recalled the previous incident & noticed that this bill was marked as "over 60 days" due, so I called again. Melissa said I needed to talk to Melinda (MG) because she didn't have access to "those" records, she then placed me on hold. She came back a minute later (& nicely apologized for the wait) & said that MG would call me back. When MG called me she was unpleasant almost from the start, beginning with the heavy sighs while she was pulling up my file. I mentioned that I had called before about a bill. She was condescending when she asked who I had talked to. I told her I didn't recall, but I was assured it was taken care of before. She snipped that she "didn't know who I talked to either, so I don't know what to tell you". She then explained to me that "the $153 was a combination of 2 bills, from 2 appts. on Jan. 5th". She said she "didn't know why the Ins. Co. didn't pay the full amount they were billed" and that we "were responsible for the extra costs". She stated very matter-of-factly that I "should call" my "Ins. Co. to figure it out". I told her that I was amazed that they would drop something like this into their customers' laps to deal with (my Mother died on 5/5/15, I had enough to deal with already). I told her that the Ins. benefits were checked prior to our appts. She said that "they were told everything was okay beforehand" but that something "was different when they went to do the billing". I told her this was insane - that the 2 appts. were for 2 initial office exams and x-rays, NOTHING ELSE, and that most places even do the x-rays for free with new patients. I told her I cannot fathom paying them $153 ON TOP OF what they already got from my Ins. She quipped that "the bill was your (our) responsibility to take care of". She never once offered to assist me in ANY way to resolve this. I told her that was fine, that my husband & I had future appts. that I wanted to cancel now & that we would find a new Dentist - she only replied "that's fine". I told her that they can forward our records after we choose a new dentist. She snapped back & said "no records will be sent until this bill is paid in full", then she abruptly HUNG UP ON ME! (Per NRS 629.061, they CANNOT WITHHOLD OUR RECORDS for an outstanding bill.) On 5/22/2015 I talked to the Broker for my Ins. Carrier (Careington). I was told that "MDH is unable to Balance Bill you (me) because they are under contract with Careington". She also confirmed that "MDH is within the Careington Network" and they are "contracted to accept specified fees for services" and that "MDH was paid 100% of the benefit amount under their contract". As a result of this info, I contacted Careington direct and took MORE time to create a written complaint, which I emailed to them that night. Due to the very small office at MDH, we no longer feel comfortable in using their services. We expect that any penalty or fee(s) associated with transferring our records to another dentist will be fully covered by MDH because this inconvenience was/is caused DIRECTLY by their actions. The $153 bill from MDH is erroneous & needs to be marked PAID so it never comes back to haunt us.

    Made appointment in office at previous visit, took work off to attend said appointment, confirmed…read morethe appointment that I was coming a few days ahead via text, showed up to appointment 20min prior to, and as in filling out paperwork I get told my Dr isn't here today, so I confirmed I had the correct day and I did, so I asked to see a different Dr, the employee's did everything the could to gaslight me or the call center because apparently they have different appointment knowledge instead of accepting responsibility that someone screwed up and wasted my day off, what is the actual point of making a schedule and confirming it if they're not going to be there ???? Absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional take your kids somewhere else a side observation the front desk girls were more worried about doing something with the other desk girl's piercing then doing their job which is probably how these types of mistakes happen

My husband and I have very busy work schedules and the staff has always been super understanding and accommodating with our limited availability as well as rescheduling if we need to. Every concern regarding my kids dental heath is always addressed and explained very well to me when I have any questions. We love it here and always recommend to our friends and community.
