Upon needing dental care I called Silver Lake, and was pleased when they told me they accepted my insurance. I made an appointment that ended up being a month out. After waiting a month for this appointment.... Someone reached out the afternoon before my appointment to inform me that it turns out they actually don't accept my insurance. But even if they moved to Sparks, I don't mind because I love everyone in this office. They all treat you professionally and are very courteous. Dr. Lee is the MOST gentlest dentist I've ever had. She frequently asks me during my procedure if I am doing fine. She explains every treatment plan in details. They accept Care Credit which is a huge plus for me that way I don't have to wait until I am financially able to get my major dental work done. In the past when you go back to have the temporary crown removed and the permanent one placed it's a quick take off and put on .. Dr. is very precise.. she took an X-ray before and after to make sure it was a perfect fit.. Of course this is coming from the hubby who had it done yesterday! When he came back to the car, he had two thank you cards and Starbucks cards! Appreciation for us bringing our dental needs here, and of course for me referring him. Definitely a win win! The office is clean and modern. They have a coffee bar and water cooler for you while you wait. And a large TV in the waiting area. I called to cancel my girlfriend's appointment on the 29th of December and her appointment was Jan the 2nd.. they charged her 100$ despite giving them a 48hr notice. The front desk lady, Sarah has to be the worse person possible they can have because she has horrible customer service and seems money hungry. They charged my girlfriend for something she never gotten done and her insurance even told her she does not have to pay for any of the things she's being charged for. I just moved to the area and wanted to get settled in with all my self-care necessities, so I found Dr. Lee through Yelp. I wanted/needed an appointment Sunday, so I called their office right when they opened Sunday, and they had a cancellation, so I was able to go in that afternoon. They give you the option to fill out paperwork online and send it back or go in 20-30min early to fill it all out in person. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The office had hand sanitizer and looked very clean. I cancelled my dental insurance from California so I paid out of pocket and opted for their Dental Savers Plan ($365) which will include 2 cleanings, 2 exams, 1 set of x-rays, and 2 fluoride treatments. If I didn't go with the plan, the visit would've cost me around $290 anyway. The assistant/trainee (?) was super sweet and nice She took my X-rays (which I'm used to being a bit uncomfortable) and did the polish and flossing parts of my cleaning. Dr. Lee took over for the remaining part and she was very friendly and professional. The office is on the older side (90's feel), but all the equipment works as they should and they all made me feel very comfortable and I was very happy they were able to take me in that day. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because after I had the appointment on Sunday, I noticed an abrasion on the roof of my mouth from them taking the X-rays that still hasn't gone away (today is Wednesday). It hurts to eat/drink, so I had to get Orajel from my local store to numb the pain each time before I can eat. It has gotten a little better but I've never experienced this from any other time when I've gotten my teeth X-rays done. Hoping this will completely heal by the end of the week so I can fully enjoy food again!, but other than that, the overall experience/visit was good. read more

I called on a Friday afternoon and they were able to schedule me for Sunday, just 2 days later! Dr. Lee sat with me and patiently explained the issue(s) that I had and thoroughly explained the treatment options. Unfortunately, my insurance is only recognized in CA, so the recommended dental procedures will take place there. It was my first time at this office, prior coming to this office, I saw the yelp reviews before deciding to try this office. And so, after I made an appointment with them, I had been looking forward to this day. They didn't disappoint me, I am very satisfied! Front desk Vanessa is nice, she checked me in and then the dental assistant walked me in and took some x-rays. Most of the people hate taking dental x-rays including me. Their dental assistant is really considerate and make it the minimal painful X-ray experience for me. I had been having issues with a filling that I wasn't completely satisfied with on one of my very front teeth. I was super self conscious because my previous dentist put a filling with a yellow tinge making one of my front teeth look yellow and my only other option(or so I thought) was to shave the tooth and get a veneer. Her dental Assistant I believe her name is Mariana, she was AMAZING!! her and I related a lot since I work in the dental field too! She was very nice and patient! I was going in for a cleaning and I was telling doctor lee that I had a filling done in between my two front teeth and it was hard for me to floss and she gladly fix it and omg, can I just say , their topical (numbing gel) works like MAGIC!!
