A temporary crown put on that came off twice a week for 3 weeks, then the permanent crown comes and is entirely the wrong color, sitting in an ice cold lobby during winter with snow on the ground as the front door was left cracked open to accommodate an industrial power cord from the office lobby outside to a dog groomer van for Dr. Lee's dog, charged a no show fee of $75 when I had a medical reason verifiable by my doctor. I have been going here for years and never had a bad experience... well I mean for a dentist visit anyway. The ambiance of this office is clean and bright! It feels modern and they have some nice touches like a TV in the waiting room that's always playing a nature or Disney movie and a fridge with water when you come in. They are good about knowing your name as you walk in the door. The front desk staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable especially when it comes to insurance and billing. Candy is my favorite because she'll definitely joke around with you but her communication is always clear. Kim for me is the best part of this office - she's a hygienist who I think is there maybe part time or three quarters? I just know she's really good about scheduling my appointments when she is going to be there for consistency. She is a problem solver through and through. I hate x-rays and she's always coming up with ways to make it more bearable and is great about talking to me about options. Both of the dentists are great although I will say Dr. Lee is a bit friendlier and chattier but Dr. McClenahan gets stuff done! I hope they never go corporate because I just love this place! read more

I love all of their staff! Jennifer is always so polite and gentle. All the hygienists are amazing and my oral health has definitely improved since coming here. I've had only good experiences with them. Previous to Divine Dental, a different dentist that I had seen insisted I had gum disease and I needed all this expenive work done. Apparently not the case. I should preface this review by saying that I'm one of those crazy people who has always loved going to the dentist! That said, I love the Divine Dental team! I've been going to Divine Dental for nearly six years and I am loyal. I've moved south but it is worth the 25 minute trek up to their office for my semi-annual cleaning. In general, the staff stays pretty constant and I have enjoyed building relationships with them. Divine Dental has worked with me when I didn't have dental insurance and they continue to work with me through my current insurance. The receptionists are friendly, helpful, and are always prepared. Ashley is the best dental hygienist a girl could ask for. She is friendly and takes care around my sensitive teeth but still does an awesome job cleaning. I enjoy meeting with Dr. Monica Lee. She is thorough and takes time in making recommendations that are in my best interest (not just selling me services). She is also up-front about communicating associated costs with things she recommends. Divine Dental is by my side for semi-annual cleanings but they have also helped me improve my brushing habits, remove small stains on my front teeth, adjust my retainers, and get sealants when necessary. The office is always clean and, as you can see, I have nothing but good things to say. read more

I had to get a tooth removed, it took over and hour, and different appointment they sent met me to the ER, I was worried so I went. I was fine. Anxiety was the problem. They then told me my insurance wasn't covered any more. read more

Rude, one x-ray. Said she could pull my tooth, but wouldn't. Refused to give antibiotics for abscessed infected tooth. Gave referral to an oral surgeon who claims he never got a referral. I'd give them a half star if I could. The receptionist lady is the only good thing about this place. read more

So, I had excellent dental care by the dentist, but very poor administrative support by the front office. I was actually mocked by the front office staff for being a military veteran. This is not something that's ever happened to me before in any service sector. Please know that if you have more than 1 same day cancellation they will try to charge you $50 and then threaten to "dismiss" you if you don't pay it. If you can tolerate petty unprofessional front office staff, then you may receive decent dental care. Dr. Lee if you read this, I hope it compels you to take a closer look at your front office. The door they create to keep you in the dark is virtually impenetrable. read more

I saw Dr. Jennifer McClanahan, and I can honestly say she is the best dentist I have ever seen. I will be a patient for life. I have been suffering for months with tooth issues after having a failed root canal and several issues resulting from seeing a different dentist. She resolved so much of the problem, painlessly and within a few minutes. I had been told I needed some extensive work done, that would have cost a small fortune, yet she had me feeling better within hours after I left her office. I had lost my trust in finding a dentist, but she gave be the confidence that I can have a normal life, without constant pain. From the moment I called the office and spoke to Candy, (who is wonderful) I felt like they cared about my dental health and well being. I am so grateful to her and to Amber, her assistant. I absolutely love this place. I have been going to dr Monica lee since 2007! She has helped me through so many obstacles. When I first met her I didn't know what to expect but I was very adamant about having her pull a tooth. She said that would have to be another visit but she took x rays and pulled it out the first day. Come to find out it was a wisdom tooth that had created the problem. I have been going to my regular cleanings. She is a wonderful person and doesn't do anything to your teeth unless you ask her too! read more

I love this place. I've been going here for years and I don't think I'll ever leave. The hygienists that have cleaned my mouth have been kind, warm, and surprisingly informative! I always learn more about my own mouth after each visit. They always recommend what type of floss is best for me, when to brush vs. swish water, what types of medication dehydrate you that possibly cause dry mouth....etc. the dentist(s) have always been brief but kind. When I've needed fillings they are very transparent with the pricing and work with your schedule/ financial timeline. There's no pressure to buy their products, although they do sell a high fluoride nighttime toothpaste that will last year's if you buy a tube-I recommend that. Unlike the dentist I take my children to, the billing department here is a well oiled machine and there have never been any surprises. The receptionist and check out ladies are great too. read more

My husband and I switched to this dentist office because the most amazing hygienist moved there, Kim! Well she is still amazing but the dentists are not. Both my husband and I were in a lot of pain after we had work done with them. I went to the pretty young blond one ( can't recall her name) and had a lot of jaw pain after for weeks. I think it might have been trismis and they weren't sure when I went back to check. My husband on the hand literally was in no pain until after they did a very minor filling on him after which he needed a ROOT CANAL. He went to Dr lee I believe. He went back to our old dentist who fixed him up but now we are receiving giant bills because he's had to have so much work done to fix what they did. Furthermore, one of the hygienists he spoke to on the phone while he was in immense pain was pretty rude and insensitive to his situation- that they caused . Another thing was the dentist marked down the wrong tooth and coded it wrong so our old dentist had to redo his chart caused they messed that up too. Long story short, these dentists seem to be terrible. I would say if only one of us was in pain, that's a fluke. But for both of us to be in pain after visiting them? Not good. Sorry Kim we love you so much this is not directed at you- you're the best hygienist in town. I wish you could go back to dr Evans! read more

After searching for many options in reno, I recommended my husband to get his appointments done after reading good reviews. However, there are good reasons why no one has updated this place for awhile. The staff was ok. No friendliness, just doing their work like robots. I am writing this review more of the hygienist. I wonder, if she is really ready to do her job. I seriously question her skills. I feel bad for stating her name, but its Kim. She doesn't know how to treat her patience with their sensitivity. If you desire weeks of bleeding and pains, go ahead and get help from her. I will never return to this location. read more

Have been going to this office for many years and now with no warning they have dropped our entire family (myself and four children) because my adult daughter missed her appointment. I know my daughter should have called, I totally get that, but to drop an entire family because one person misses an appointment, especially when that family has been loyal to that office for close to ten years is over the top and ridiculous. No warning letter, like one more missed appointment and we will have to drop you, nothing. My daughter went in to apologize and reschedule and the receptionist embarrassed her by catching her off guard and saying sorry we are dropping your whole family. Also, their dental work is mediocre at best. One of my front teeth is chipped (something I did as a child) and it's never bothered me, but Dr. Lee told me one day that she could fix it for me and so I agreed to let her try. Long story short, she attempted twice to fix it (the second time to fix her mistake from the first time) and now I have one front tooth that is longer than the other front tooth and yes it is noticeable. My daughter is now going in for the third time to have a root canal looked at that Dr. Lee has also not been able to fix and actually made worse. We are all super easy going and mellow people and I never would have complained about these things, because yes the staff do appear to be very friendly, but if this is how they treat long-standing customers, apparently it is all a facade. I will advise everyone I know not to choose this office as loyalty counts for nothing and the dentistry is mediocre at best. Very upsetting that you think you have a good rapport with an office and realize that no they actually care nothing about you or your family. My advice: Look somewhere else! read more

Dr. Jennifer McClanahan had been my dentist for a few years, and I had even recommended her to a few friends. Last November we decided it best to extract my top teeth and fit me with dentures, this was one of the biggest mistakes of my life! The dentures were terribly loose with gaps all around, I had a problem eating, they wanted to fall out if I sneezed or coughed and worst of all developed a speech impediment. I am 57 years old, and work in sales, these dentures affected my entire life. Dr. McClanahan's solution was to reline the dentures (at a cost of $1,200) and to see a speech pathologist. After a few months I went to a highly regarded Prosthodontist in Reno for help. He was extremely unhappy with the fit, and could not understand why she removed my teeth to begin with. After 5 appointments for fittings, I now have a BEAUTIFUL set of dentures that don't even resemble the original set. I can eat just about anything, my speech is improved, my self confidence has returned, and best of all, I SMILE AGAIN! Of course I would very much like some type of refund, but I seriously doubt Divine Dental would even consider this. read more
