    Excellent Customer Service: I came in early on a Saturday for a simple oil change. There was a problem with a part, long story short my car was not ready by close of business on Saturday. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The Director of Operations, Thad, came in first thing on Sunday morning, even though they are closed on Sundays, solved the problem, ran multiple tests on my car to ensure everything was perfect, cleaned it all up... AND brought my car to my house.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]He went above and beyond to provide top notch customer service. He really cared, and that made all the difference. I was having difficulty finding a place open nearby that could replace a specialized light bulb for my car, and I happened to drive over to Honest-1 Auto Care. Not only were they able to squeeze in an appointment for me, but they also helped me feel reassured that everything would work out...and it did. I stopped by a few weeks later when I had a light appear on my dashboard where I thought something may be wrong, but it turned out to only be my fluids were low. The Honest-1 Auto Care team came out and looked at my car, refilled my fluids at no cost, and then told me to head over for a regular check up (which I did a week later at my dealership). They also fit this appointment in between their busy day of appointments. All of the staff from the mechanics to the customer service team are all friendly and happy to answer questions even for someone like me who doesn't know too much about cars. They follow-up as needed (by calling you when your car is ready), and they are honest (thus their name!) and will let you know what you really need and what you do not need. I know they saved me quite a lot of money, time, and stress! You should also check out their website (https://www.honest-1paradisevalley.com) for a lot of great information including some helpful money-saving coupons. I was able to use a $30 coupon off a repair of $250+. It's great to find a place where you can trust the staff and know what you need will get done. Plus, it's right by Dutch Bros.

I first used Revive Auto Care to replace a control arm on my Infiniti QX60. I found them on Yelp, appreciated their positive reviews, and liked that they communicated over text. That repair went well, so when my AC started blowing hot air, I decided to return. They initially charged me $100 for diagnostics and a refrigerant top-off, then told me I needed a new compressor and quoted approximately $1,200. I dropped the vehicle off on Tuesday. By Wednesday and Thursday, they still had not identified the issue, but they continued replacing parts including the compressor, condenser with receiver drier, premium line kit, secondary rear AC expansion valve, blend door actuator, cabin filter, and recharged the AC system. By Friday, the vehicle was still not repaired, and they ultimately determined that the battery was bad and not providing enough amperage to properly run the AC system. They replaced the battery and told me the issue was fixed, which naturally made me question whether all of the previously replaced parts were actually necessary. The total had also increased to approximately $2,500, and at no point during the process was I contacted for approval on the additional repairs and charges. When I picked up the vehicle Friday evening, the AC was still blowing hot air. In addition, the vehicle was revving abnormally both while driving and while sitting in neutral. It is now Tuesday, and my messages have gone unanswered. On Saturday, I brought the vehicle to Infiniti for another opinion. I was told that the AC system had been overcharged by 1.73 lbs of refrigerant, which they said was causing the issues I experienced after picking the car up. I understand that diagnosing AC problems can be difficult and unexpected issues can happen, but the lack of communication, failure to request approval for major additional repairs, and returning the vehicle in worse condition than when it was dropped off made this a very disappointing experience.

When i went inside to ask why my car was left for me to find in that condition, I was cut off by Ken screaming at me. Yes, he screamed! I was taken aback because I work customer service and I know that is never an appropriate response . With crazy eyes, he yelled that I should be grateful for what he did and that I'm lucky he didn't charge me $1000. He then told me it was policy -- to leave all four windows down in the parking lot, which i find hard to believe. With him not letting me get a full sentence in, I walked out. Ken was aggressive, disrespectful and completely unprofessional. Managers should not be acting like maniacs, even if a customer has a complaint. This changed my perspective of the whole experience as I had spoken with Juan up until that point, who was professional and knowledgeable. Maybe he should be manager as Ken clearly cannot handle that role.

    I had an awful experience with this shop. I originally took my car in to have a steering stabilizer…read moreinstalled. The check engine light had also been on in my Jeep, so I had them check that out as well. It was Friday when they told me they could order the part my Jeep needed to be delivered by Sunday. They asked if I could prepay for half of the part/services, so I did, which should have been the first red flag. They told me to drop my car off Monday morning, and it would take around an hour - an hour and a half to install. I dropped by car off around 8:00 a.m. I finally called the shop back around 12:30 because I hadn't received an update. I called four times with no answer, then left a message. When they called me back, they said the part would actually be delivered Wednesday, which surprised me because they should have told me when I dropped my car off that the part didn't arrive Sunday. They said they were talking to the dealer to try to get the part sooner. I asked for them to call me back with an update. They still didn't call back. I had to call again. To which they said the part was actually showing up wrong on the website, and I needed a different part, and there was going to be a price change. I said just order the part, but if it can't get done on Monday or Tuesday morning, I'll have to pick the car back up and have it installed another time. They said they would call the dealer again to see when the correct part would arrive and call me back with an update. Yet again, no call back. I finally called again around 4:30 p.m. and asked for an update. They said that the correct part is actually a kit with 20 different parts that I should just source on eBay because it would be cheaper. They were zero help. I had to call for an update every time. Each time, they told me something different. It just seemed like they were lying on top of lies and could not keep up. They seemed to have no idea what was actually going on with my car, and they had multiple opportunities to be honest. When I picked up the car, I expressed my concerns about the situation. My car was in the shop for over 24 hours for no reason, I paid for ubers, and pre-paid for this service all for nothing. Their reasoning for not giving me updates was that they only had one person working in the shop. He also became defensive and said "Did I not leave you a voicemail??" Yes, you did. But that was after I called 4 times asking for an update. These people don't know what they are doing, and they have horrible customer service skills. I should've said no from the beginning when they asked for payment upfront. And before they comment and say "we don't have records of you in our system" the car was under my husband's name, Wyatt :) EDITED: The shop reached out to clarify my concerns. As indicated in their reply, I asked how the fact my car is a hybrid was missed considering I told them it was a hybrid, and they stated in their reply that is the root cause. Their response was that the dealer gave them two options and they ordered the somewhat readily available one. AKA they didn't check to make sure it would work with the hybrid. Yet another instance of inconsistent communication and incorrect information provided in their reply below. The root cause was not the vehicle is a hybrid. It was that they didn't pay attention. Also, since they want to talk about phone records, mine show the following: I called at 12:15, 12:20, and 12:25. I left a voicemail. I received a call back at 12:49. I called immediately back at 12:50. I had to call again at 1:26 for an update. They didn't call back until 3:19. I had to call again at 4:20 p.m. This is consistent with what I explained above. Their pettiness just goes to show they only care about their image and not their customers or their vehicles.

Like so many people, I was overwhelmed, scared about the cost, and unsure who I could trust. I felt like I was getting the runaround and hearing that my best option was to trade in my vehicle and buy another one. It was an incredibly stressful time. Thankfully, I decided to get a second opinion, and that decision changed everything. From the moment I contacted this shop, I was treated with kindness, patience, and respect. After my vehicle was towed to their shop, they took the time to thoroughly inspect my vehicle, explain exactly what was going on, answer every question I had, and never once made me feel pressured. They focused on helping me understand my options so I could make the best decision for my situation. That kind of honesty is rare. In a world where it's easy to feel vulnerable during a major repair, finding people with integrity is priceless. They earned my trust through their transparency, professionalism, and genuine care--not through sales tactics. One of the biggest lessons I learned through this experience is this: always get a second opinion before making a major financial decision about your vehicle. Every transmission and every vehicle is different, especially high-mileage ones. Before agreeing to a service your transmission or deciding to replace your car, take the time to have it evaluated by a reputable transmission specialist at Ken's.
