The interior is nicely decorated but casual, and I look forward to taking advantage of the outdoor seating. I thought the food was good. Pretty good selection of Indian food. The portions are decent. The naan was excellent.

We ordered the mixed assortment of appetizers, they were all deep fried with very heavy and soft with a greasy coating, not crisp and lite. We ordered papadum, and it was cold, not freshly made like many other restaurants. We ordered chicken tandoori and the cuts of chicken were randomly chopped, some cuts were basically just bone, and the flavor was spicy but not really flavorful. Service was good as can be by a student, not a family member or owner. Seems that he was left alone to deal with the restaurant, except maybe a cook in the back. He did his best. The Ambience was not what I expected for an Indian restaurant, corrugated steel on the walls, and the table or seats smelled like pee. We moved to another table to get away from the urine odor. The condiments were served in tiny plastic containers about the size of a nickel. It's the next day now and my stomach is not so good. read more

The Palak Paneer (creamed spinach with cheese) at Tandoor Grill is especially tasty. It's smooth with quite a bit of paneer. I prefer the taste of just spinach to some that are made with "mixed greens." The entrees come with rice and the addition of cumin seeds make it delicately fragrant. We also tried the peas with paneer and vegetable kofta which were good. The lamb Vindaloo had generous, tender chunks meat. It was in a creamy tomato sauce. I didn't taste this but while it was good, the preference was for a more tomato based sauce as opposed to a creamy one. The garlic naan was a good size and lightly seasoned. If you like a lot of garlic, you may need to ask for extra. Overall, we thought our (takeout) dishes made a wonderful meal! We forgot to ask for a menu. Totally disappointed! My wife tried to surprise me with a large order from Tandoor Grill while I was in Easton on business. She used Door Dash, (a joke and a mistake, but they are the only delivery platform Tandoor Grill uses, because they, apparently, do not care or respect there customers. Supposedly after he picked up, the driver had a traffic issue, (stopped or in a minor accident), which we understand. With that said, after he had stood still 11 minutes away for 10 mins, my wife texted him on the app to see if he was cancelling or coming. He said he was still coming. We waited, and at 2 minutes away from my hotel, he suddenly cancelled for no reason. Okay, we get that was a scummy Door Dash issue, but when I called the restaurant to complain, I spoke to "Raj", who claimed to be the manager. (I am almost positive he really was the owner, but didn't want to admit it.) When I advised him of the issue, he couldn't blame Door Dash fast enough and denied all responsibility and told me I had to contact them, (I knew that) and it wasn't his fault, but he saw what had happened. When I advised him, as a business owner myself, who he subcontracts to reflects on him. He had already received our money, and ONLY uses Door Dash. I told him that is not serving his customers. He seemed nice and friendly enough, and said he couldn't send the food out, but I could come pick up another order..lol (Hmm, there was a reason we ordered delivery, I'm on business without a car). He said he was going to contact Door Dash and call me the FOLLOWING day with an explanation. Guess what? NO call back, no apology...and "Raj" definitely has no Integrity, so I guess, I'm glad I got my refund and did not patronize them. I wonder if they have integrity on what ingredients, and safety measures they use in their kitchen also? Edit: I was at a nice Easton hotel, (I gave my room number, but usually meet in the lobby. (The bus was outside of it) You acted like it was a FAVOR that I was getting a refund for a delivery I DIDNT RECEIVE! Yes, DoorDash gave me a credit, (which I did NOT ask for), didn't want, and doesn't impact my life or finances a little, especially since I will stick to Uber eats now. Hmmm, 35.00 for a one person order. That seems kind of large! That shows your arrogance that you don't appreciate that. Finally, you NEVER tried calling me back..I get a thousand calls a day from friends, family, and for business. Only you couldn't get through. If you are having all the hunger in the world and you decide to stop by at this restaurant, do not, I REPEAT DO NOT!!! We were group of 11 yesterday evening and ordered 4 appetizers, 4 entrees and 6 garlic naan's on first order, appetizers came out and followed by Entree, when the basket of Naan came out, waiters never communicated by how many Naan's are left with and we thought the portion sizes could be small (which was small), and ordered another order of 6 Naan's. Later, we had to remind the waiter for our order of Naan (which they made after we reminded her) and then we had to cancel the order!! Waiter already knew it was her fault and accepted at the table. Now, here comes the Owner of the restaurant with receipt of 12 Garlic naan's (out of 12 we received only 6) and I told him to remove 6. In his argument, he said you ordered 4 appetizers (FYI, if you can't handle 4 appetizers together, you should close the restaurant and cook at home), and later told us to put -1 review of Google. Also he argued on giving no Tip (He already added 18% Gratuity). In addition to that, he was mentioning that all the orders are made to order. Let me clear one thing, YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY ONE MAKING MADE TO ORDER, WHOLE WORLD DOES IT AND DOING IT VERY WELL. Such a bad behavior by owner (egocentric). I myself own three different businesses but WE TREAT OUR CUSTOMERS AS GOD, We argued only because of owners rude behavior, not because of we cancelled 6 garlic Naan's. Let me tell you your portion sizes. Veg Manchurian: you get three Veg Manchurian balls for $11.95 Malai Kofta: you also get three kofta's $14.95 (Keep in mind, not even water is offered as complimentary) Visiting an Indian restaurant is not just eat your food and leave, it's about having the whole experience. I'm a lover of Indian cuisine. I've been frequenting Tandoor Grill for years, which has great service, very reasonable prices and great food. The nice thing about Tandoor is the value. They don't charge for rice, which another Indian eatery in town does. You need more condiments, no problem. You want something changed or modified? No problem. I find the food tasty and authentic. There is another Indian eatery in town that recently opened and I am not a fan. Expensive and I had a bad experience with their service. I'm a vegetarian who loves really spicy food. My partner is a carnivore who can't take the heat. This was the perfect find to satisfy both of us in one trip. I have yet to find genuinely hot Chinese food in Easton and feared a similar problem with Indian. "Indian spicy" paneer was just at the edge of my comfort level, which was a nice surprise. I had some catering done with them and that was such an amazing experience and the food was absolutely delicious, however when i called to place a small order for rice for some quick lunch at 2:30, i was told that they were closed and the kitchen staff had left from lunch service. That doesn't quite make sense to me since they are suppose to be open until 3. If you're not going to serve your customers until the time you say you're open till and let your kitchen staff leave 30 minutes before closing time your should change your hours from 3 to 2:30. The best Indian Lunch Buffet in the area consistently for over a decade!!! Nice selection and high quality food!

I wanted to like this place so badly! I gave it the benefit of the doubt until I was walking out the door. I walked in and there are several empty tables that haven't been cleaned. The decor is generic pictures of veggies -- but I figure they're new, so it's not done yet? My boyfriend and I wait ten minutes for one of the tables to be cleaned. There are 2 people working the dining room which only has maybe 12 tables. We sit down and after 5 minutes a guy brings us weird tasting warm water with no ice. After another 10 minutes a server comes and takes the order of the couple behind us who has been waiting since before we even sat down. He takes our order immediately after. They get their food 20 mins later - we get ours 45 minutes after ordering. In this time, I see people enter, wait, and leave after not getting sat at a table. I keep saying to myself, "but I bet it will be delicious!" The napkins are paper towels. The table cloth is vinyl. Food arrives. It's just fine. My boyfriend's food wasn't bad. Mine boasted "farm fresh" veggies -- which were obviously frozen. There was CORN in it. I was so disappointed. I ordered mine very spicy and it was bland -- like they forgot? They never came back to the table for me to ask for more spices. I will never be back. I suggest you save yourself the trip and go somewhere else. It was inexpensive, but they should charge more and hire more staff, or actually buy fresh veggies, or better decor. Waste of time - waste of money. read more

I must say that I was a bit apprehensive at first. It looked to be less attractive than I had expected when we entered. I soon forgot about that when I met the very nice people running the place; and the service was very good. The prices were very reasonable and I expect that they should go up soon. The traditional dishes were very authentic and delicious. My only issue: the tap water served was quite unpleasant. I suggest investing in a water filtration system. Place was empty when we went but we thought to try it anyway. We ordered two appetizers Paneer Pakora and Gobi Manchurian. The paneer pakora came out and did not look rite, my son noticed a long piece of plastic that was fried in the batter! It looked like they had tried to fry up all the small paneer pieces left over, horrible! The Gobi Manchurian was okay not the best. The flavoring was missing. We ordered Paneer Makhani and Malikofta both were just okay. The owner seems non existent and not involved, if the owner was involved they would have come over to our table when we noticed the fried piece of plastic in the paneer. Avoid this place if you can. Went here with a friend. the place has been open about three weeks or so. We saw the other very good Yelp! reviews and had high hopes. A picture of the menu was posted on the Yelp! site showing they offered a lunch buffet at a reasonable price. We were in the mood for a good Indian lunch. As we were about to walk into the front door, my friend noticed that the city had posted a notice in the window saying that the restaurant was scheduled for a " health department re-inspection". Hmm... Nevertheless, we stepped inside. The were a couple of occupied tables, but no buffet. A person came out of the kitchen to seat us. I asked about the buffet. Her response was that they hadn't set-up the buffet yet since the restaurant was new. Why would the place print and display menus advertising something they do not have yet? Maybe we'll try to visit again should they pass their inspection and when they offer a buffet. read more

We have been here twice. On our first visit, we LOVED the food, but there were some "blips," which we attributed to the restaurant being new. The 2nd time, last week, we were disappointed. We brought friends for lunch. Since the buffet still isn't set up, we ordered off the menu. That ended up being not more food, but much more expensive than the buffet would have been. I am usually not one to leave public facing reviews that I know will potentially chase other people away before they walk in the door. In this case, my experience was A LOT like Greta H, as we visited about a week later (this Labor Day weekend). We walked in to find the place without air conditioning on a hot, humid day -- I'm not sure why we decided to stay at that point but we were hungry -- and maybe one or two tables with people at them. The rest of the tables were dirty and had not been bused at all. There was a girl clearing one of them and turned and saw us standing at the door waiting to be seated. She didn't say a word. She finally rolled her eyes, walked back and said, "You can sit wherever" and walked away again. We looked at all the dirty tables and finally chose the "cleanest one" that was covered in dirty napkins and rice. When the girl came back she rudely said, "Well you could have picked a clean table." I looked at her and said, "There were no clean tables, but it's OK. We can pull our chairs back until you clean this one." We were trying to be cooperative but she proceeded to start talking about how tired she was and how she's new and how she doesn't like her job and just wanted to go home. Due to the temperature in the restaurant, we politely asked for water once our table was cleaned. My friend finally went and retrieved what we hope were clean cups off a nearby buffet table and had to ask another employee for water after waiting about 10 minutes with our waitress missing. The man brought a pitcher of lukewarm water and told us they had no ice. Because this place was BYOB we also brought a bottle of wine and had to ask for a bottle opener numerous times. Can I tell you that ALL the plates they put on the table were wet? It's like they had no dishwasher or drier working either. People were obviously cleaning the plates and putting them right back out for use. We dried ours with napkins, but then had to ask for more napkins. The bright spot of the night? The food was good. Not over the top good, but my friends and I shared the appetizer sampler, the chicken tikka, the chicken mango and garlic naan. That being said, we had to ask for more rice because our two entrees came with a combined tiny dish of rice, not two separate servings. Finally, I had an allergic reaction to something on the way home. Not sure what, but I broke out in small hives on my right arm. I have a shellfish allergy, which leaves me to believe there was a cross contamination and very poor handling of food and prep in the kitchen. For this reason alone I will not be back and cannot recommend this to anyone with food allergies. read more
