RESPONSE TO OWNER COMMENT - Thanks for the prompt reply! :-). My point is that they were not what's expected as fresh and sold at $8. Not mass produced eggs are rich, dark yellow/orange yolks. Its ok. I expected too much. Simply - If they are mass produced and genetically engineered hens to make their eggs the same, they are not fresh local chicken eggs. It's OK - Lesson learned. The biryani restaurant obviously has a very pungent smell that occupies the whole space. And while this is technically a butcher, it's definitely more like a meat market with prepackaged trays of meat (packaged in the back). Their selection of chicken, beef, lamb, and goat is cut primarily for curries, stews, etc. No true grill or smoker cuts available here. The butcher was very friendly and accommodating trying to get me a cut I could actually grill. The only thing available was essentially a t-bone however it was small with very little meat on it. And sadly once grilled medium-rare it became very tough. Admittedly this place may be a fantastic source of cubed goat for your paya... but the beef selection and quality is disappointing.

They offer meat, fruits, hard to find spices and candies/chocolates that are really hard to find. This is actually my favorite aisle. I love trying new candies and snacks that I've never seen before. I love walking down the aisle of any international store just to see offering that our regular big box stores don't have.
