Wow this is a brand new grocery/ fast casual restaurant in the neighborhood which I couldn't wait to check out. The grocery aisles are abundant with everything International that you can think of. There is an abundant produce section as well as a well-stocked halal meat counter. We ordered gyros which were super tasty and fries. The gentleman at the counter said that the fries came with middle eastern spices but I couldn't taste it. The next time that I order them, I will make sure to ask to be heavy handed with the spices! They are still working on getting everything completed so I will go back in a couple of weeks to try their Chipotle Rasberry wings.

Since it was our first time, he took the time to walk us through the options, really listened to what we were in the mood for, and made great suggestions. We had the Hungry Bowl with chicken and gyro, and it was excellent. The fries were crispy, thick-cut, and so good. The dolma was flavorful, and the walnut and almond baklava was a perfect dessert. My favorite was the rose water drink. It had such a nice subtle flavor and was not too sweet. Between the delicious food and Zee's friendly, attentive service, this was a fantastic first visit. Looking forward to coming back.

I tried both the wrap and the salad bowl, and while the portions were solid, the flavor of the meat was pretty middle of the road at best. The spices and seasoning just felt bland overall and neither dish really stood out. The sauces were definitely the highlight and added a lot more flavor than the meat itself. One small thing that also felt odd was getting water in a tiny plastic Dixie cup. Not a deal breaker, but it added to the overall average experience. Decent value for the money, just wish the food had more seasoning and flavor depth. Clean inside....

He was kind and very knowledgeable and helped guide us through the menu since it was my first time. Tried the slider and tender, hot. Also tried the mozzarella sticks. Wow! James was right on. Ambiance 1 STAR Came in on a Sunday afternoon. It was a bit busy, but the tables were DIRTY. Please make sure someone is wiping down the dining area tables and keeping it tidy. On the way out after I finished eating. A gentleman finally came out to clean the tables. Service 3 STARS The staff were pleasant. When I needed ketchup or honey packs. They quickly obliged me. Food 2 STARS I chose a combo with a slider, one chicken finger and fries. I opted for the regular slider since there are no more mini sliders. It was just too thick to eat. I think they were a bit stingy with the slaw. The fries were decent. The chicken tender was juicy, but very average. Not sure if it's this location. Since I usually visit Plano. I wasn't happy with my meal at all. I left unsatisfied and not full. My meal looked better than what it tasted.

He checked on us often to make sure we had enough of the unlimited veggies and sauces. He chatted with us and constantly cleared our empty plates. He was the only server, but he was able to take amazing care of every table. He gladly changed the channel so we could watch the hockey playoffs and had us stand in front of the Japanese cherry blossom wall so he could take pictures of us on my phone. 5 out of 5 service It is a beautiful spacious restaurant with booth seating and counter seating (there is also a private room with a tv and a Shabu table set for 20). The tables are already set with plates, utensils, and pots with water and seaweed (kombu) 4 out of 5 for decor and ambiance I wish I could have liked the food more, but here's my honest opinion. I paid extra for spicy miso broth (I think an extra $2.50). They mix spicy miso paste into the water that is already boiling at your table. Even with hot drops, it was disappointingly bland. There are 3 dipping sauces: garlic teriyaki, ponzu (surprisingly sweet which I didn't enjoy), and peanut sauce (again bland). Nice that the sauces are unlimited, too bad they're not delicious tho. There were many choices of meat. I chose choice ribeye. You order by the ounce here so I ordered 8oz. High quality meat for the price. They give you a really small plate of veggies to start, but then if you ask for more (it's unlimited) they give you a giant bowl of spinach, tofu, carrots, mushroom, cabbage, and broccoli. You're also given white rice and your choice of noodle. I chose ramen, but it wasn't your usual ramen noodle. It was a tiny bowl with a handful of super thin noodles that took a long time to cook. 3 out of 5 for food Would I come back here? Yes! There aren't any other Japanese shabu restaurants around AND Sonny was awesome!
