The food was amazing. There's not one thing I ordered that I didn't love! Be open to trying new food and you'll enjoy! Butter chicken was moist and flavorful, the broth was yum even to spread it over rice. Mango lassi was delish. Twas a milkshake and smoothie combination, and it's healthy too. Make sure to brining cash for small orders of food. There's also a grocery store connected! Feels very home like inside.

Best samosas in Chicagoland area. Make sure you call ahead and they fry them fresh for you. It is a party standard in our circles

Amazing Indian food! Goat Biryani is our favorite. Curries and naan are delicious also.

The restaurant is clean, bright and inviting. One nice surprise, they have a full bar. Their menu is fairly large. And they were BUSY. They had a line from the back counter all the way through the restaurant of folks either picking up orders (from a prior phone order) or stopping in to order to go. This was nonstop for at least an hour. Saturday night definitely contributed. The food was pretty good. Solid portions, lots of flavor. Of course we ordered Garlic Naan (actually, basil garlic Naan) and it was a good portion and delicious. They only serve one chutney and one curry which I was disappointed by. I have experienced getting a tray of various curries etc. But they were "OK". Had some flavor, but honestly it wasn't flavor-full. My friend said that on prior visits it was better. We also ordered a Mango Lassi (no one had ever tried it so I ordered one so they could try it). It was really good and they loved it as well. We ordered Mango Chicken and Lamb Vindaloo. The chicken was so good and not too sweet. My wife loved it. My Lamb was ok. It was no where near "hot" or spicy which I am used to. It tasted very muted and more like an Indian tomato sauce rather than a true Vindaloo that I'm used to. Our friends meals were lamb and fish and were very good too. My Vindaloo was worth 2.5 to 3 stars but everyone else really liked theirs so I bumped it up to 4. The service was slow, but that was more likely to how busy they were. It wasn't unacceptable, just a bit slower than expected. All in all I would try it again. I would come back try the Chicken Vindaloo and tell them to kick the heat up. There are several dishes I would love to try and will try. But right now my recommendation is a "yes" for those wanting to try this delicious food, but a maybe for experienced Indian food folks that are looking for something more like home :)

It was full of cardamom and saffron flavor and topped with whipped cream. Chole kulcha & bhatura is a must-try!! The bhatura was not oily, which was surprising, and the kulcha was so soft. The chole gravy was delicious, and the pickle paired really well with the combo. The chaat items weren't great. Dahi bhalla felt dry and didn't absorb the flavors of the chaat. Papadi chaat was oily, which was a turn-off. Malai chaap was great. The soy was tender and had a smoky flavor. The malai gravy was really yummy and paired super well with the chaap. For entrées, we had the Veg Hyderabadi, which was a spinach-based gravy. All the veggies were tender and absorbed the flavors of the spices. Paneer labandar was super yummy. The gravy was flavorful and mildly spicy, and the paneer was tender. Daal makhani was really great--perfectly creamy and spicy with amazing flavor. I was super excited to try the rumali roti, but it was a bit disappointing. It wasn't soft and had a LOT of butter. The garlic naan, however, was super soft and yummy. We ended the dinner with rasmalai, which was super yummy and loaded with dry fruits. Moong daal halwa tasted very comforting on this cold evening. The servers were very helpful, and the service was quick! Would definitely be back here specifically for the chole kulcha!

The atmosphere is very quiet and relaxing; there are very big windows on the side and you can look out at the sky while you are eating. The food is excellent; the spice levels vary across the different dishes so be sure to ask your server. They are happy to heat them up or cool them down for you, and will also bring you little samples before ordering as well. The samosas are almost as good as Mummie's, absolutely bursting with flavour and spice. The Hyderabadi chicken is a treasure. Oh, my god. It's so good. I can't stop eating it. The Chicken Biryani is wonderful, as is the Vegetable Masala. Oh, my goodness! There is also a buffet Tuesdays through Fridays which is terrific; there are lots of dishes and you can try them all. This is a terrific restaurant and I plan to return, very soon!

As a first timer it took us a little bit to get used to the complex spicy taste and spicy smells. I tried a beef and chicken dish, and it was really nice. The Naans were amazing; I prefer the cheesy ones the best! Defiantly would recommend and come back to try other dishes. We stopped in about 30 minutes before they closed (7:30pm) but we were told it was okay to dine in. Ordered some plain naan (got garlic instead but it was delicious), chicken chaat bowl and chicken tikka masala. The tamarind type glaze on the chaat bowl was good - bit of a smoky BBQ flavor. The tikka was great - plenty of sauce for naan dipping. Fun music and cute decorations. You can tell they care about their food. They do have a corking fee if you'd like to bring your own adult beverages. Might bring a bottle of wine next time. Looking forward to my next visit here.

The garlic naan was excellent, though--fresh, buttery, and packed with flavor. My favorite of the meal was the daal tadka--super comforting and well-seasoned. Would go back for the naan and daal, but probably skip the sweeter curries next time. Service was great though! Waiter gave great recommendations for how much to order and how big the portions were.
