When I picked them up today, there was no charge by the company. In fact, there was the bag of beautifullly and thoughtfully embroidered stockings and gift cards for Val and her family. I was in shock. I think I started crying and the owner gave me a hug. What a wonderful business this is. When I dropped off the stockings, I told them why I was embroidering them; that my mom had gifted Val, her husband and kids stockings many many years ago, and they were burned up in the fire. People are good. So grateful to have found this gem of a business. They made a difference.

The exact opposite experience. Friendly, professional, and happy to take the work from the moment I walked in - no drama, no flat refusal, just "let's see what you've got." The rush pricing was reasonable, the turnaround was exactly what they promised, and the workmanship was excellent on both pieces. The shirt collar sits properly for the first time in years, and the pants hem is clean. A few minutes outside Palm Springs and worth every mile. This is what a real tailoring business looks like. This store is rather confusing, since it feels as if partial departments are throughout the store. I did not find what I needed, but in the clearance area, I did find some fun things. The prices were more "on sale" than clearance, but the price felt fair. In the sales floor, I didn't find anyone that could help, but at the register a very nice guy helped me. They have a self checkout line, unless you pay with cash. They are not set up to accept cash in the self checkout line. So, the place seems good and I will probably go again.
