I have two Bichon Frise dogs one is just a puppy. She has only had one grooming, however her previous groomer allowed her to come for Table Time to get used to the noises and they would trim her nails she is only 7 months old. Upon scheduling here the owner required me to pay $30 per dog just to schedule my appointment. When I arrived I explained that the puppy had mats on her ears and they would need to be shaved. She called me about 30 minutes later to let me know my puppy had "such bad mats that she had hematomas." I arrived back shortly, her ears were wrapped to her head in a tight bandage. I immediately took her to our vet. She confirmed she did not have hematomas, however she was cut. I did not complain-I actually sent a complement to them for my older Bichon's haircut. My husband thought he looked great. My puppy still has thick scabs at the tips of her ears inside and out! Upon checking out I was pressed to reschedule. I have an Italy trip scheduled and was unsure of the arrival home date. Because of my puppy's cut ears the groomer did not cut the ears correctly and I was told I needed to bring her back- She has a vet appointment to be spayed the next day she is scheduled for the hair-cut fix. The groomer said I need to reschedule due to her surgery the previous day. I called to be sure. They have no openings until July 1st. We are out of town. My older pup is scheduled on July 5th. We arrive home on the 5th from memory with no calendar in front of me I was off by a day when the check out person wanted to schedule-the owner, Jade sends a snarky text that my dogs must come 8 weeks out (they are the ones who have zero flexibility) . This business owner informs me that we are not a good fit- No apology for injuring my dog, causing a $150 vet visit. Just a lovely text stating we are not a good fit-Guess What? You are 100% correct we are not a good fit and you are a terrible business owner

Before the appointment, I gave clear instructions to park behind my apartment and even confirmed with my building that they were allowed to stay for up to two hours. Despite this, they repeatedly called and texted me confused about where to park, sending photos of signs that said "no parking." I reassured them multiple times that they had clearance and there would be no issue. After coordinating everything, I carried my 18-pound cat down 18 floors to meet them in the back alley--only to find that they had left. They then told me they refused to proceed due to the "risk" of getting fined. I was left standing in an alley holding my cat while juggling calls from multiple numbers trying to coordinate between dispatch and the groomers. I even offered to meet them at a nearby parking garage if that made them more comfortable, but they refused. If you advertise service in downtown Austin, you should be prepared to handle the realities of parking in that area. This was a complete waste of time and incredibly frustrating. I would not recommend this company.

The experience from start to finish was great for me as well. I got to talk to Sarah at the start, during which she took a look at pictures I had brought in and was genuinely interested in discussing the look I was hoping for. It was easy to know when to come get your pup (they text you), and the price was very fair for everything they did (~$100 for grooming, nails, and brushing teeth). And Juno was silky soft, adorable, and nice smelling when it was all said and done!

Adrianna was so kind to agree to send a mobile van with a volunteer for my event, along with a furry friend. On the morning of the event, Ms. Ashleigh arrived with the sweetest and most laid-back pup, Maverick. The students were Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st graders. They LOVED this station! Ms. Ashleigh talked about her job as a groomer and showed tools to the students. She modeled how she used the tools on a dog and she let the students pet Maverick. She answered questions and was so engaging and friendly with the classes. It was so amazing to have Reese's Pet Sitting as a part of our Careers on Wheels. I appreciate this business volunteering almost 2 hours of their time to participate in our event.

That's how I came across All God's Creatures Grooming in Yelp. I cannot believe I waited this long thinking I would not find a better groomer just as close to us. From the get go, communication was great and they were very thorough. Dropping him off and picking him up was easy peasy and the employee that attended me was so personable and sweet. I was so satisfied with my experience and will never take him elsewhere.

They are seriously awesome!…read more We got our darling little chunky monkey, Yeti, on July 11th, and he immediately changed our world forever! He's a now utterly precious almost six month old Havanese (which is the sturdiest of the toy breeds, by the way), and, about a month ago, we knew that we needed to shop around for the perfect groomer for our little guy! We read that puppies with high maintenance grooming needs should be brought to the groomer very young to start getting socialized to the whole experience, so we started checking out different spots to find the one that we most trusted to begin this process with. Hubby and I, of course, scoured the Yelp reviews and began investigating the various highly-rated places around us in North Austin. We brought our then five pound baby along for the ride, and it wasn't until we stepped into Hair O' The Dog Grooming Salon that we knew, without a single solitary doubt, that this was the one! It was just the way that they lovingly grabbed him out of my arms and started showering him with kisses and cuddles! Everyone else had been so cold and matter of fact, but the ladies here were just so warm and enthusiastic, and Yeti was a happy little wiggle butt in all of their arms. Love at first sight, all the way around! They knew exactly what was needed, and they offered me a white board and marker to make communication with them a breeze! We scheduled his first puppy experience for that next Saturday at 9:30am, and they showed me the large kennel on the floor right by the action where they would let Yeti observe from at first. They encouraged me to bring his blankets, treats, and toys to deck out his space, so you know that I totally did! He came out of that first experience (just some very gentle maintenance grooming) so buttoned up and, most importantly, happy as a clam! They even sent me a picture of him in a zombie apocalypse, which was too adorable (see my pics). I threw it right up on social media, naturally! They then scheduled his first real cut for the next month, which is today, so here we are at home waiting for our little dumpling to be ready. The awesome ladies over there have been communicating regularly, and they just sent me his before picture! This review has already gotten ridiculously long, so I'll just leave you with this: I have zero nerves or fears about our precious puppy being in their hands right now, and that is HUGE. The energy there is beautiful, and this is one of those places that I would happily give more than five stars to, if I could! I'll pop the after pictures up when we get him. This is the only place we are bringing our dogs to be groomed. My German Shepherd/Husky mix sheds…read more(a lot is an understatement) and he hates being brushed. He always loved the groomers here and he comes back energetic like a weight is lifted off of him. When I moved to South Austin I tried a couple other groomers closer to me but didn't realize they used clippers and weren't doing a thorough job so his double coat got very compacted. We returned to this groomer and he is back to his old self. They did an amazing job deshedding him, got his fur feeling soft and fluffy again, and answered all my questions over text. It is so worth the drive and we don't intend to bring our dogs anywhere else again.
