We had such a great experience with Ali and his staff. They were so helpful and took so much time to work with us. We took a certain rug home to try and weren't happy with the size so we used their one day policy and brought it back, along with pictures of the space with the rug in it. Ali helped us find a better size rug that still meshed with the space and color scheme we were going for. He took so much time, working within our personal style and budget to help us select the correct one. Contrary to another review here which said he was belittling or condescending about rug selection--he just is an expert and also wants to make sure you get the quality and style you are going for. One of the best customer sales experience I have had in a while! Honestly, it was our first time buying an area rug and I didn't have much hope that we would easily be able to find something. But at DRW both reps that helped us went above and beyond to understand exactly what we wanted and had the patience to understand that my husband and I actuslly have different tastes and we needed to compromise. Their selection and pricing are varied and diverse. We went through many, many rugs with them and they were detailed enough to explain the differences between handwoven and machine, along with the pros and cons. We were there for about 60-90 minutes before we finally made a choice, all the while, they never gave me even a hint of being tired of dealing with us. I was really impressed and grateful for all their help. I should mention that before going to them we had stopped by at the store right next to them. The guy at the counter practically didn't look up and could've cared less that we were there. Buying a rug can be a daunting experience. There are too many choices and a wide range of prices, and it can be difficult to know what kind of quality you are getting. Our last rug that we purchased online shed fibers continuously for over a year, and we were looking to step it up. Ali at Designer Rug Warehouse made it easy for us. He showed us rugs from a wide variety of price ranges and didn't pressure us to get something more expensive. He also educated us about the things that we should be looking for in a quality carpet, which were a lot of things we didn't know. When we couldn't decide which rug to purchase, he encouraged us to take home 3 of them to try them out before making a final decision, which we didn't even realize was an option. We took him up on the offer and it ultimately helped us purchase a rug. He also gave us a very competitive price which was comparable to online pricing. If that doesn't sell you on the experience, once we purchased the rug and were setting it up, we noticed a tiny red stain that was probably just transfer from either a label or another rug. We took the rug back and they took care of cleaning the stain while we waited. We were so happy with the experience that we bought another rug for the bedroom! Excellent Value, Product Knowledge Customer Services and Selection Buying expensive rugs was a new experience for my wife and I, we spent a ton of time researching everything we could find on rugs from $500 to $5,000. We finally chose to go by Designer Rug Warehouse (DRW). It was late on a Sunday but the owner Ali Inal took his time and we did not feel rushed at all. He also had his workers pulling rugs down, moving them from one side of the large facility from one side to another. Ali was very knowledgeable and explained the whole rug making processes letting us see and feel the difference. Ali even took the time to show us different padding options and explained the pros and cons of each. When we got the rug home we thought it was perfect. Additionally we are working with a designer and she thought we got a very good quality rug for the $2,000 purchase and suggested that it was a "good investment". About two weeks later our cat coughed up a fur ball, we were very upset because blotting was not working. We called DRW late one night and left a message. The worst shopping experience ever! I went in looking for certain rug and a gentleman helping me was very belittling to his employees. I was embarrassed and uncomfortable. I saw a rug that caught my eye I asked to go look at it and he replied, "you don't want to see that rug" And I replied, I really like the style of the rugs over there.
