After being surprised by Josef's approximately $900 quote to replace the movement of the watch (a standard quartz movement that itself is available for sale online for ~$40) I took the watch to JR Dunn in Pompano--an authorized Tag dealer and repair shop, where Josef's is not--and was quoted less than $300 to have the entire job done, by Tag themselves, with a warranty. Shamelessly quoting 3x a certified dealer for the exact same job is outrageous.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! I came here a year ago to get a quote for a custom engagement ring. From the moment I walked in, Ellen and the whole staff treated me like family. I was given tons of information on the design and setting, how they could make it specifically for my needs, metal type, etc. I was told to come back when we were ready to go ahead, with no pressure to buy or hurry in any way. When the time came to actually make the ring almost a year later, the staff remembered me and shared in my excitement and joy. Everyone here is absolutely lovely and they genuinely care. The ring is GORGEOUS! It looks even better than the photos I gave them to base it on. The ring was ready 2 WEEKS EARLIER than their estimated finish date, and when I needed it adjusted to a smaller size, they had it finished for me NEXT DAY. I can not believe how accommodating they were, and their work speaks for itself. The ring is far more beautiful than I imagined. I can't thank them enough!!! DON'T GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!
