But when Dr. Holmes came in, she was every bit as professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough as Dr. Byrne. The entire staff deserves recognition. From the receptionists to the medical assistants to the physicians, everyone is welcoming, courteous, and genuinely caring. The office is spotless, well organized, and runs efficiently. Once again, my appointment scheduled for 05/16/26 at 9am has been canceled due to the store being closed. This is especially concerning because, at the time of scheduling, I specifically confirmed twice whether the location would be open on Saturday. I was clearly assured that the store would be operating and that the appointment was confirmed without issue. After waiting for this appointment, I am now being informed that the next available option is after June 15 due to lack of availability in May. This is not an acceptable outcome, particularly given that this is not the first time this type of issue has occurred. As we have previously discussed, the reason I schedule appointments well in advance is to avoid exactly these kinds of disruptions. Unfortunately, despite prior conversations regarding these concerns, the same problems continue to happen repeatedly without improvement. Additionally, the cancellation list is not a practical solution for me. I maintain a full work schedule and cannot reasonably adjust my professional responsibilities around unpredictable last-minute openings. At this point, the repeated cancellations, misinformation regarding store availability, ongoing scheduling failures, and the resulting stress and loss of time have become extremely frustrating and unacceptable from a customer experience standpoint. Due to the ongoing inconvenience and repeated disruptions, I am formally requesting a refund or canceling my account with Milan Laser. When I go to check out (my gift card totaling $179 and facial costing $79.00) I was told by the experienced cashier (Sabrina) that the entire gift card must be used because it was originally meant for a couples massage. Francisca failed to mention this on the phone prior to me coming in to receive the facial. She failed to ask a more experienced person what the requirements are for gift cards. Due to her careless mistake, the total service I received was $110.00 with the purchase of a scrub included that I bought with my personal funds. If I would have known from the beginning, I have may gotten more add-ons to my service or maybe even a massage if I knew they would charge the entire gift card totaling $179.00 (let's not fail to mention that tip couldn't be included on the gift card either). It may be poor training - but her customer service skills weren't great either.
