However, the matting and the glass in cheap frames leaves a lot to be desired. I brought everything here, and we worked out a deal where they would custom cut replacement matting, UV protection glass, and then attached the pictures to the matting. When we picked them up, we just had to reinstall everything in the frames we already had (which they confirmed we pretty good quality frames). We are very pleased with the results.

With his skilled craftsmanship and guidance on framing and matting selection, the resulting showpiece enhances the colors of the original etching. He made it easy, fun, and offered great insight while going over options and finalizing choices. Based on his previous work, we knew we could entrust him with a significant antique oil painting that is a prized possession as it depicts the location where my husband and I got married. He took the time to make a house call with his wife due to the delicate nature of the piece and helped install appropriate hardware necessary to hang such a delicate painting. The piece now hangs beautifully on our bedroom wall and we're delighted to wake up to a stunning image everyday thanks to Sam and his wife. A Very FIne Business…read more Recently I had a series of miniatures that needed new backing and proper wires. I walked into Four Corners Frame and there was a line of four waiting. Sam, one of the owners, was gracious and unflustered, advised those of us next in line of the anticipated wait, and proceeded to give his full attention and the best possible advice to the first couple there to have several items framed. Several of us chose to wait and it was a pleasure to watch the warmth, interest and professionalism that he invested in each customer. My project was small and easy, yet he took the time to engage in conversation and to make me feel that my project was just as important to him as the other that proceeded me. The work was done within a few days and I received a text. Though it was my first time as a customer he immediately remembered me when I returned to the shop and had me examine his work and wanted to be sure that I was fully satisfied before I left. This is truly a gem of a business and you feel well served and appreciated when you leave.

They have "regular" hours but they also do appointments by request, which is nice. Of note, they had to search multiple companies to find a frame that was similar to some we already had, and that took several weeks. In general, I had to call them for updates even when deadlines were missed (they had good reasons for it) and I wish they had taken the initiative to call me first. However, it all worked out in the end and I am happy with the job they did.

A print I asked to have matted and framed was slightly curved. I was assured the print would be flattened prior to being matted and framed so it would sit more snugly. Apparently, green is the most frequently used color for all the grass in landscapes so she can buy individual ones here very reasonably instead of buying a whole new package of pencils. They also have a nice selection of gift items like small pouches, reusable bags, socks, cards and assorted small art themed things. The selection of easels is extensive and includes table easels and standing easels. Tons of canvas, paints and paint brushes. Prices are reasonable. Instead of adhering to the acceptance/denial notification date she originally stated in the specifications, the gallery director switched to a Hollywood style maneuver and told me I was, "shortlisted", with a NEW notification date a month away, thus rendering my artworks in limbo and unavailable for exhibition elsewhere. I contacted Ms. Soon and demanded a refund. After her sad attempt at convincing me that by having shortlisted several of my pieces she had indeed fulfilled her obligation of timely notification, I contacted my credit card company. Bank of America has no tolerance for this type of manipulation of terms and upon their investigation granted my full refund.
