Track in the Snow latte and blueberry muffin

I drive past this spot all the time when going to visit my family so finally popped in. It was a chill day and not to crowded. I wasn't sure what I wanted but they had a specialty drink on display so I went with that and a blueberry muffin. They take your order and deliver to your table if you dine in. My drink was aesthetically pleasing and very yummy but I was a little surprised that they gave me a piping hot drink in a glass with no handle. I also expected it to be a little sweeter considering the ingredients that were in it ( coconut cream, graham cracker cream, marshmallows, etc.). I'm not sure if the muffin was gluten free but it was super dry and crumbly. The flavor was good but I did not enjoy the texture and would not get again.

The people working here could not be any nicer but our first experience here was a rough start. we love the Rochester location and heard they set up a roaster with a coffee shop attached. I believe this is their headquarters where they roast their coffee and make their baked goods. When you come in you see the register and baked good case and a few spots to sit and then there is a larger area to sit down a small incline in the flooring. They have an interesting open seating area with art on the walls. They also see some merch here. There seems to be a classroom and some restrooms off to the side. The menu is fairly simple. They seem to offer less than the Rochester location and had less cheesecakes or baked good than the other location. When we arrived it was not incredibly busy and the people helping us were very nice. They gave us our card and told us they would bring us our drinks. We waited for nearly half an hour while others came and went and got their drinks and treats. Finally we asked and they admitted they forgot about us. They were very gracious and very apologetic and then brought us some drinks and cheesecake. I love their cheesecake. It is very good and less than $6 a slice. While it is no Cheesecake Factory, you are going to get a nice slice for a lot less. If you like cheesecake I highly recommend trying their cake. As far as the coffee does, they are always very aesthetic and nice to look at, but their mochas were not very strong and did not taste like there was any chocolate in it, and their hot cocoa also did not have a strong chocolate flavor, it was very faint. I like their coffee, it is smooth, but I would have liked it a bit stronger, hotter, and more flavoring (chocolate which I am not sure was even in there, it tasted like a plain latte). I would not give up on this location. It is newer and we like to support local. This location is located in the subdivisions of Ferndale and not downtown, so I am not sure how often we would make it over here, but we will visit a Dessert Oasis location again soon.

Cute coffee shop so many seats available. Nice pastry and drink options. Tried the Kyoto sencha tea and the matcha latte before. Enjoyed both 9/10

The Kerouac is essentially an earl gray tea latte with lavender and cinnamon, I got it with whole milk and it is earthy and a little sweet.

So, I didn't register, but of course I made a purchase well, purchases. I bought 1 oatmeal raisin cookie, 1 chocolate cupcake, 2 Blake's donuts annnnd 1 scoop of butter pecan ice cream in a waffle cone. It was very nice when I walked in, the space was clean, the deliciousness was beautifully displayed. It was good to see so many of Blake's Apple Orchard items for sale here. It was kind of quiet, well after the family (father? and 2 children left) nice place to sit and enjoy your goodies, scroll, etc. When I came on Yelp to write my review, I noticed there's one in Grosse Pointe, MI. Glad to know there's one closer that I can return to visit. Ohh, I almost forgot, the ice cream was Really good, I didn't taste like a diet fail at all. The Blake's donut, well you know... aren't they all good? The cupcake was light and the icing was perfect. Now, let me tell you about their oatmeal raisin cookie (my favorite by the way) Man, was that cookie good. All of the goodies were excellent. Nothing was too sweet or off. I really enjoyed everything purchased. You gotta go!!!

We purchased a mix of items to sample two different types of cheesecake, some ini cupcakes cookies and of course the pup cake. My fur baby devoured it. Treat Dreams is an ice cream lover's dream come true. They have the most creative rotating weekly…read moreflavors I've seen in metro Detroit. Their vegan ice cream is out of this world ever since they changed their base from rice milk to coconut and pea protein. It's so creamy and the best vegan ice cream I ever had. Follow Treat Dreams on social media where they post their updated weekly flavors. Occasionally they have bizarre flavors like Lobster Bisque, Lemon extra Virgin Olive Oil and Bacon. Lol. They are most famous for their Kookie Monster flavor...a nostalgic blue color that's favorite of both kids and adults. You can find their food truck at various events in the area, food truck rallies at the Royal Oak Farmers Market and Urbanrest Brewing Co. Treat Dreams now shares its space with 4 other food vendors in Ferndale's first food hall called Pavilion Street Market. They also sell their ice cream by the pint and i'm kicking myself I didn't get any during my last visit to enjoy at home.

I absolutely love their Kooky Monster flavor: blue vanilla ice cream with Oreos and cookie dough. The ultimate cookies & cream flavor! Not overly sweet and the sandwich version of this is amazing too (sandwiched between two soft chocolate chip cookies). I also tried the root beer flavor and it tasted like I was eating a delicious root beer float! And I've had the cherry marshmallow flavor which was great: it didn't taste artificial and the marshmallow was a nice touch. It's cool how they have all these unique flavors and I'd love to keep coming back to try more!
