This is the BEST dog park i have ever been to. Poop bags and trash cans are plenty and ALWAYS clean.

Being that we evacuated, we wanted to find a place for our two year old peekapoo to run off some energy. It was clean and well maintained. Water bowls were provided and were clean. He definitely enjoyed himself. Great dog park. read more

This park is a great place for dogs with plenty of trees and park benches. There is a separate area for small dogs vs large ones. I've never seen a park with so many trash cans. This is fantastic and I think people use them more. The park definitely has less "bombs" than most. We come here on vacation so we are going in the middle of the week and it's fairly quiet with less than 10 dogs every time we've come but that's perfect for us! read more

We had so much fun here! We had evacuated to Destin from New Orleans for the hurricane. We went to the dog park several times. My dog LOVED it here! There were always so many friendly, playful doggos as well as responsible, friendly owners. The park is clean, well maintained, and people pick up after their dogs. There are a few benches and they are all located in a shady spot which is perfect. There are two separate areas for the dogs: big and small. We played on the big dog side. It was quite a great experience and we will definitely come back if we are in town with our fur baby again. read more

A clean and friendly dog park to socialize your dog. Thank you to the awesome responsible owners and people who keep this park clean. I visited this dog park for the first time today and used the smaller closed in area as there was no one in here. Being my first time in a dog park, I wanted to learn the rules and check out the park. I was so pleased with how beautifully kept this park is. There was a large bowl of fresh water waiting for a thirsty dog. There were three large benches under the shady branches of large trees. Large signs explained rules and what to do if there is an aggressive dog/situation with a number to call. I felt safe and so fortunate that the people who work so hard to keep this park clean do so. My dog lasted about ten minutes in the heat and then sat under one of the large trees. I was super impressed when someone from the larger area can over and asked if my dog would play with his dog. Since I was a bit nervous I explained that I'd feel more comfortable next time. He was understanding and friendly. Love this dog park. Dogs need their exercise and their social interaction with both people and other dogs. A dog park is a great place to do this. Destin has needed this park for a long time, and I think they've done a great job with it. The park features benches, trash cans, a water supply, waste disposal bags and bins, and is set up as two separate parks: a smaller park for small dogs (less than 30 pounds) and the larger dogs (more than 30 pounds). The entry/exit gates were well thought-out, they have a weekly maintenance schedule (Tuesday mornings at 10:00 AM) and are always attempting to make improvements. Yes, there are the occasional irresponsible dog owners, but they're no more common than irresponsible parents. I don't blame the park, I blame the humans! Lovely open dog park with plenty of room for the furry ones to run around as well as trees for shade, 2 sand pits, water fountains and benches. It was very clean and well maintained. I was glad to see that the owners here did pick up after their dogs as there was no evidence of poop in the grass. There are 2 fenced in, separated areas for big dogs and one for smaller dogs. Even though the park is surrounded by street traffic, there was not a lot of noise. Little tip, there is a pokestop at this park. read more

My dog gives this park two paws up! First, it's a huge, grass, tree-filled park, and not filled with mulch or some other foreign substance that makes your dog say "wtf?" They provide water bowls and, if you're lucky, the dog waste bag dispensers are full. Also there are plenty of tennis balls to go around, which keeps most dogs very happy. Basic rule of thumb with this park: be flexible, be cool, and don't be a helicopter dog-parent, and your dog will have fun. read more

It happens at dog parks but come on people pick your stuff up. They are scheduled to clean the park every Tuesday morning but maybe in the bustier months of tourist season it should be more often. read more

It a shame that such a nice dog park has owners that are recklessly disregarding the 30 pound limit for the little dog park due to ignorance of the statistical fact that 85 percent of dog park injuries are from collisions between small and big dogs while running!! Absolutely love this place! My fur baby enjoys all of the space she has to run and be free! It offered two different sections, one for small dogs and the other for the big dogs. I love this set up bc my pup gets very intimidated by the bigger dogs. Benches are available to sit at while your fur baby is enjoying his/her playtime, water to drink, tennis balls to use and baggies are available in case you forget yours! Great dog park! Grass not dirt, shaded areas for hot days, plenty of space for your dog to run, and a nice drinking water area. There is a water bowl available and plenty of balls, however I always bring my own...kind of a germ freak even with my boy. I have had a couple bad experiences here with another dog attacking my Ollie and one dog who wouldn't stop trying to dominate him...however not the parks fault. I'm sure all dog parks have this issue on occasion. I suggest checking out the scene before you walk in the fence, if there is a problem dog or owner you'll know it. In both of my experiences the owners of the perpetrating dogs were not helpful or responsible, you can't fix stupid. There are donation boxes set up here, consider donating when you visit it will really help maintain the place. read more

This dog park has very nice parking and large areas for your dogs to run free. There were separate areas for small and large dogs. The separated fenced in areas are a good size and allowed for ample run and play time. The park featured watering stations for your dogs thirst. The park was easy to find and well maintained. This dog park is large and has a separate parks for small and large dogs evenly space distributed. The park is clean and friendly. Fairly easily to access with a large parking lot. The park doesn't get muddy after rain storms. Great place for your fur babies! read more

We visited with our two dogs while on vacation since Walton county does not allow dogs on beach unless you are a resident/own property. It's not very large considering and no water except one place. The first day our dogs had a fun time and no dogs were too aggressive. Second day a very large German shepherd was there with his owner who was an older man, and this dog bit our dog while he was running. Had to take to get to stitch up it was so bad. The man didn't care and neither did the city! So beware it's not that safe. read more

We live in a small neighbor hood with a small yard so our dog loves to go here. Park is well maintained (except some owners don't clean up over their pet). But the grass is nice your dog doesn't get all dirty. Very large,bags to clean up after your pet and trash cans for refuse. Only draw back is sometimes owners of aggressive dogs don't pay enough attention to their pets. But not the parks fault. read more

Recently visited Destin with my dog for a few days of vacation. Was staying really close to the dog park so we made lots of visits. Great dog park, seems to be pretty well maintained and clean. Plenty of room in the big dog park for dogs to run and play fetch. Its probably middle of the road on size compared to other dog parks I frequent. Clean water is easily accessible for the dogs. Only opportunities I experienced are that there isn't a wash off hose for dogs (some sandy spots that my dog loved to roll in) and the people water fountain has little pressure. read more
