This is a nice little park with some great water views, a playground, two dog parks, a couple of pavilions, ample parking and it is located just on the main road next to a Red Lobster. The park was well maintained and was inviting. I enjoyed chilling here for a moment and walked down to the water's edges and took in the tranquility that a stunning water view can bring to your soul. All in all, this park is a great place to spend a bit of time. It is on the main road through Fort Walton Beach so you will always be aware you are in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the modern world, but I still found it an enjoyable respite and my soul was better for the visit here. I would definitely recommend that you come by and check it out and don't forget to walk down to the water's edge.

I was really impressed with this dog park! It was my first time visiting and everyone was so friendly. My my sweet little puppy (who isn't much of a puppy) got to play with all the other dogs and experience the bay/ocean for the first time. It was so sweet watching her jump in the water and also be in a safe place to be off leash. It was a really nice experience and if you're looking for the best place in town to take your dog to, this is it!

This park was 10 times better than the one in Destin! There was a beach behind the dog park where many dogs were running in the water.

We are visiting and have been going to dog parks in the area. This park was 10 times better than the one in Destin! There was a beach behind the dog park where many dogs were running in the water. Everyone was very friendly to us out of towners so we will be back!

This is a park by the water, it's also used as a doggie park and I think as long as your dog is on it's leash then its ok to be around the playground area. The park isn't huge but its got swings, rock climbing wall, and plenty of sand. There's a cement path that you can run around for some cardio. Since its close to the water they have a ramp for boaters/Kayaks/Canoes to set off of there and plenty of parking. It was a great random find to check out off of Miracle Parkway heading towards Mary Ester, Florida.

Mum and Dad have been telling me all week about the beach, but I did not really know what to think till today. The sand was white and the water was cold, thanks to dad baptizing me for a surprise dip. After a moment of shock, I did my best Peter impression and walked on water back to the sand. Guessing Dad was unsure if I liked it or not, so he dunked me a couple more times just to be sure. I was a good sport about it, but will have to rethink getting that close to the shore again. I loved running and chasing all the small dogs thru the sand. Wore out a few dogs today, but then again that is what I do. I'm going to ask my parents to bring me back soon, now that I know where the park is. Had a beach of a time and after a long bath , will sleep good tonight.

My dog isn't a fan of swimming, so we just relaxed by the shore, which was still a nice experience. The area attracts a lot of friendly dog lovers, making it a pleasant and social spot. There are plenty of trash bins and extra poop bags available, which makes it convenient and keeps the beach clean. Parking is plentiful, with spots available along the road and across the street. If you're staying in a nearby Airbnb, it's within walking distance, and the sidewalks make for a safe and easy walk to the beach.

We found this dog beach on Yelp and decided to take a little detour. There was plenty of parking and a green space, as well as a government building of some sort, and then the fenced off dog beach. Unfortunately once we were walking towards the beach, we saw multiple signs saying that the park was closed. However, there were at least a dozen locals with their dogs inside the enclosed area, so we decided to go in anyway. The atmosphere was welcoming and the dogs were all having a great time sniffing, splashing and chasing balls and each other. There was one covered area for shade and a bench but not too many places for people to sit inside the dog beach. Outside the fenced area, however, there are some tables that are shaded by trees and the building closest to the beach does have a restroom inside if you need one. It felt a little weird to walk past the closed sign to get into the park and I'm still not really sure why those signs were up. We did ask two different people inside the park and they said they just ignore them. When in Rome right? It was a little confusing and I don't know if they were doing a renovation or some sort of update but once we were inside the friendliness of the people and the dogs made up for it and we just enjoyed the atmosphere for a while until our pop was ready to go. If you're in the area with your dog, this might be a gamble but it was a good stop for us. Even if your dog doesn't like the water (ours really gets in) there is still a sandy area where they can run around and play. The community is also welcoming so it's good for socialization. I would definitely stop here again.
