Great deals on towels. About 1/3 the cost of Amazon. The nicest employees super easy to work with and great inventory.

After calling a few vendors, I chose Destination due to their free delivery (with larger orders), friendly service, good prices for a range of towels, and the fact that they are a small business.

Everything is displayed so neatly and in a way that helps give some decor inspiration. There's even a small sale section for imperfect items (either from a crack, manufacturing issue, or missing piece). I've definitely purchased a few of these pieces and appreciate the care put into offering these imperfect items for sale and labeling the issue clearly. Staff has been friendly each time and have always made my experience in the store pleasant. I like how they aren't pushy but are quick to help me if I have any questions or am ready to purchase. I've purchased online as well and found the process to be clear and easy. I especially liked that they texted me if there were any issues or delay in the order. I was more than happy to wait for my items. Everything was packaged well and arrived safely to my door.

I know the layout, I know the staff faces, and I've spent a lot of money here over time. That said, I need to address something that has been deeply uncomfortable for me. Every time I use the self-checkout, employees immediately come behind me, grab my cart, take my items, and start scanning them without asking. I've been told it's to "make my life easier," but it doesn't feel helpful. It feels targeted. Especially when I see other customers using self-checkout without the same level of intervention. I'm also aware that many large retailers use advanced surveillance and AI technology in their stores, which makes the experience feel even more uncomfortable when you're already being closely watched. I've witnessed theft in this store before by various individuals, mainly mexicans and whites, so I understand loss prevention is important. But being automatically treated with suspicion when I've never given any reason for it is frustrating and disheartening. I have never had issues with the law, and I'm a working professional who simply wants to shop in peace like everyone else. I ended up contacting Home Depot corporate because the pattern felt like racial profiling. Corporate took the complaint seriously and issued me a $15 gift card. Since then, while employees still stand directly behind me during self-checkout, they no longer grab my cart or begin scanning my items without consent, which I appreciate. I'm sharing this because customers deserve to feel respected. Loss prevention should not come at the expense of dignity. I will continue shopping here, but I hope management continues training staff on how to support customers without making them feel singled out. Do better. Respect your customers. We're here to spend money, not to be made to feel like suspects.

I was pleased with the pots that I found and thought the prices were comparative to what I saw at Sunset Nursery. I would definitely recommend checking out this shop!

PARKING There are nearby lots, but we had street metered parking. Most likely limited, especially on weekends. AMBIANCE A typical Broadway storefront in the heart of Chinatown. The space is airy and bright, with natural light filtering in from above. PLANTS I purchased a 12" watermelon peperomia for $40. They didn't have the fiddle-leaf fig I was hoping to find. Credit cards are accepted. The overall plant selection is decent, and everything looked healthy. OVERALL The staff was pleasant but hands-off, not informative unless you ask. I didn't receive care instructions until I was practically out the door. Pricing leans medium-high (but reasonable), so this isn't a budget-friendly stop, but the quality is solid, and it's nice to support a local, family-owned business.
