Good service and food. The chicken was tender and had a good chili powder chicken boulion onion flavor... The green sauce was ok. The rice was perfect and beans ok too. This was our first time But NOT the last. The service is Great. The Food is Great. The Margaritas are EXCELLENT. The First time we didn't have to order a Shot to actually have a drink. Look the Whole experience was the Closest we've had since leaving California. I am so excited to have a Great spot close to home that Hits everything you go out for. Our fourth night in Shawnee - here for a conference, We stopped at Tapatio on a Sunday night around 7:30 because other places we liked in Shawnee were all closed, and the parking lot at Tapatio was nearly full we so thought it might be good. We got a nice welcome, good (and huge) pineapple aguas frescas, tasty chips and salsa, and a big single portion of excellent steak/chicken/shrimp fajitas, which the two of us split. Service was very good, too. The price was extremely reasonable ($25 for more food than the both of us could eat, including tax and the drinks). We really liked this place a lot. read more

I'm visiting Shawnee Oklahoma. My go to for places to eat is Yelp reviews. I was pleasantly surprised with this place which does not have much pictures, not enough reviews but the parking lot was full. So I decided to take a risk and dine here tonight. The service was prompt, like lightning fast. The place looks small outside but there is plenty of comfortable sitting. The chips are hot, crunchy and flaky good. The hot sauce was mild with good flavor. I order fish tacos. They are probably not their specialty. But I was trying to keep it a light dinner. Everyone else look great. The price was super cheap. Just visiting in Shawnee and knew nothing of this place, so we had no expectations. Almost everything was exceptional. I cannot recommend the Pina colada. Chips and salsa were good. The chicken soup had the best flavors! So fresh! The guys had chimichanga fajitas. They loved them. My husband said the rice was great and he also loved the chorizo queso. Service was fantastic! The place was clean despite being packed at 8:30pm on a Friday evening. We highly recommend! read more

Me and my wife wanted to try some Mexican food and we ended up here just based off the reviews. I can honestly say the food here was amazing , by the time I realized I needed to take a picture I had already finished my food lol however the he service was decent, the decor was beautiful and the seating was nice and comfy. Also parking was easy to get into and out. I would definitely recommend coming here especially for some tacos !! read more

This was so disappointing, way over priced and small tiny portions. Only chips and salsa are complimentary, bad white cheese sauce $3 for a small but you went eat it all. Went here on a work lunch so we will learn next time, go anywhere else! read more

My wife and I were seated and served our drinks and then pretty much ignored. We had to flag down a different waiter to take our order.... Then we sat and waited while others got their food and nothing for us. 40 minutes went by and we never got checked on and no food. Waiters would walk right by us never checking on us. We finally stopped a waiter and asked what was taking so long and he acted like he couldn't care less. Finally a different waiter brought our food out and we again asked what took so long and he just looked at me and asked do you want the food or not. UNBELIEVABLE! Of course my answer was NO. We got up and left. I guess this place thinks they are doing you a favor by letting you eat there. Never again for us. There are too many other good Mexican food restaurants. read more

Decided to try this Mexican restaurant over the other ones and I'm so glad we did! Picking this place over allllll of them!!! The restaurant got filled within minutes of us sitting down so I thought the food would be awhile. Food came out less than 10 min of ordering for 5 people!! Nice and hot tasted so good. The service was fast at getting any extras that I forgot to ask for in the beginning. My boyfriend ordered 2 margs, a peach and strawberry and he said it was the best ones so far in Shawnee. Food was typical Mexican, not horrible, not the best. Service was very hurried and erratic. We had a group of 5 adults, 1 high chair, 1 infant, and I don't recommend going here at all if you have over 4 adults. They really squeezed us in a patchwork table around 5:30, and when the dinner crowd came in, continued to squeeze larger groups around us (extended 2 back-to-back booths). We only got four menus, never got a high chair, no refills, weren't told how to pay - you go up to the register. Nothing horrible happened, it just wasn't enjoyable.
