I waited about three months and then I set a date with him to start the job. I was so nervous because it's a lot moving out for a week and taking all the furniture out of the house. Kirk said don't worry my guys will move everything out and move everything back in. We are professionals, we will take good care of you. And he absolutely did. I have very expensive antiques and furniture. I cannot express how happy I am with my floors. They are gorgeous!!!! His crew is first class. I had vip service in every aspect of the job. My floors have not been this good in over 30 years. He took out a planter separating my dining room and living room and put in hardwood floor. You can't even tell it was ever there. They cleaned up all the dust and put everything back perfectly. He is amazing. I would highly recommend him.

He told me that it was a miscommunication, he offered the service of sanding and polyurethane (2 coats) what he forgot to mention that there was another service where they completely sanded the floors and polyurethane them, the service we got was barely sanded (there was zero sanding dust in our home (hence we could still see the areas of dirt trail) in the floors. If you own a business how do you NOT offer up every service that is available, now we're stuck with a bill and all we got is shiny (dirty floors) it just blew me away because the guy is a great human but we now have to get someone else to come in and do the floors so they look fantastic.

I am glad this ended on a good note, since other than the communication issue, the floors look amazing, and his team worked hard and quickly. His team did leave floor finish stains on the baseboards and my kitchen quartz counter walls, so heads up, don't forget to ask them to use painters tape if you're getting your hardwood floors sanded and refinished. (Initial review) Initially when Alex first gets your business, they seem responsive and even tells me about how shoddy of a job the previous flooring people did in my home (fixed by previous owners). But the moment any small issues come up, Alex just ghosts his customers. In the video you can see the cracks happening under normal body weight. I really wanted to believe that at the very least he and his team will try to provide any rectification, even if it's just to come out again to check on the floor to see what else can be done, like I wouldn't even have mind paying an additional small fee for materials. Instead, since he has been fully paid, he won't even see the project to the end to make sure he delivers on quality work. I understand that things come up and he could be busy but the non-responsiveness for two weeks is clear.

However, their current communication has been highly unprofessional. After one of my tiles broke, I contacted the owner, Harry, to pay for a new tile replacement alongside a kitchen demolition job. He was incredibly responsive at first and asked me to leave a 5-star review for this office, which I did as a favor to maintain a good working relationship. The exact moment the review went live, communication plummeted and the owner ghosted me. After more than a week of receiving zero replies regarding project estimates or scheduling dates, I deleted my review. He instantly messaged me claiming he was "on vacation" and asked to verify my email. I replied immediately, only to be ghosted a second time. It is highly frustrating to be cast aside as a repeat customer. This experience has completely changed my view of Harry, and I leave it to future customers to judge whether they want to take the risk.

Two thumbs up! Jacob did a professional job replacing 4 rotted red oak hardwood floor planks. The…read morered oak planks were the original 77 year old hard wood flooring. He gave a complimentary visit for an estimate, which was fair and reasonable. Jacob had great communication, letting me know when he would arrive, and then being on time. The first day he removed the rotted planks with an orbital saw, which was more delicate than a circular saw and kept the neighboring planks safe, and the room less dusty. He had a miter saw to cut precisely. He did the cutting outside to keep sawdust at a minimum. He replaced the red oak planks and stained them the first day. The second day he buffed the planks, and did the first coat of seal. Then he took a break for it to dry, and came back later to put on a second coat. Perfect. He left the room and yard spotless. Honest, great work, great communication, and reliable. I would recommend him to anyone who is wanting to repair or rebuild their hardwood floors.
