My front door was worse than before after the repair. When closing the door, the newly installed u-shaped door sweep did not have enough circumference in the bottom to properly close and the rubber strip kept catching on the metal threshold. The rubber eventually got torn and the whole piece had to be chucked. Had another person come and made repairs. They removed the door and cut 1/4" from the bottom, sanded it and added a new door sweep. They also corrected the metal plate fixed to the door jamb, reinforcing the latch area by cutting out that section of wood and added new hardwood with the hardware. Just needs a paint job which I will do. The door now closes much better than before on all sides. The price charged for this service was money thrown down the drain. First start with showing up 20 mins late than the confirmed time which had been set one day before the installation date. Secondly, feel like this guy using language barrier as disguise to get customer confused and way overcharged. I was not planning to get my sink rubber seal changed for stopping leaking by him,but since he was there, after doing the job that the appointment set for, I asked him if he had a rubber seal at that moment for replacing the broken one. After checking the leaking area, he said I needed a new tube and a rubber seal so that got me questioning cuz the tube had been working fine. While I was thinking, he said it's gonna be cheap, just $20, I could go for the part and get it fixed, and I agreed. When he was on the leaking job, he even asked me to help him for getting the tube cut off by saying oh I didn't have the tools. Hello??? When the leaking job done he asked $100! I was surprised and questioning the charge. All the sudden, his English got back to normal with an attitude by saying I had to make a living and what you were expecting? I didn't expect the tricky move. Actually, if he said oh I'm sorry that there was a misunderstanding my bad and such. I would gladly hand him $100 without hesitation cuz I handle $20K property tax for years. Stay away from this despicable so called handyman! read more

I found Rolando 9/15/23 in the early afternoon. He came right away. He installed a bathroom light w/exhaust fan for us the next day (Saturday). Because the fan was the wrong size I had to go back to Lowe's to exchange it. Unfortunately he had to come back with drywall and paint job the following week to finish the job not due to his fault. He did a great job with very reasonable price. So we are giving him more jobs to do... I called one who cannot do it until almost 7 days later.
