Roberto showed up this morning exactly when promised... on Memorial Day... and worked for seven straight hours. Near the end, one of the car batteries drained because the doors had been open for hours during detailing. The detailing itself was top shelf - more than five stars - but what really stayed with me was Roberto's attitude: always a big, reassuring smile on his face, coupled with hard work, professionalism and the kindness of a righteous human being. The price however should be adjusted accordingly depending if the vehicle is too dirty or not. In my case the car is kept in the garage 90% of the time and has a full cover on it all the time and it never gets dirty so $95 for a clean car that essentially just needed a quick wash seems a bit overpriced. It's had a hard year of little kids and dogs in and out of it. Andrea started my day by sending me pictures of areas with heavy wear, scratches, etc explaining what could and couldn't be addressed but a promise to do her best. I received several more updates throughout the day. Except for the wear spots, the interior looked as good as it did when I bought the vehicle (used) about 6 years ago. It day actually take a day or two of leaving the windows down on the garage for the cloth seats to fully dry. The Mazda SUV is only 9 months old but had gotten quite dirty on the interior (from kids, dogs and snowmaggedon). It really did look good as new when I picked it up. I did have to wait about 15 Minutes for them to finish up even though I'd arrived when instructed. The waiting room offers free Wi-Fi and is air conditioned. For the outstanding work, it cost is worth it. I highly recommend Auto Detailing Austin and Andrea in particular.
