First of all shout out to Miguel and the lady writing tickets on Sunday July 5th. 5 stars to to them both. Please forgive me I did not get her name. I'm not happy with myself about that. She and Miguel were extremely nice and very professional when it came to getting the job done correctly. I came in at 12 (per my appointment) and asked for an exterior wash and an interior detailing. I received a text at 2:04 that my jeep was ready. Upon inspection of my vehicle I noticed that the back had not been vacuumed well if at all. I also noticed sand still on the floors and mud that was still on the outside. One gentleman took my vehicle back to the detailing spot and asked a couple of guys to blow out the back. I decided to take a towel that I had in my vehicle and start going over other places they missed. I step to the back and ask them about cleaning something on the inside and that's when an employee thought it would be appropriate to ask me if I thought my vehicle looks better than it did when I brought it in? Then he proceeds to tell me that not everything can be fixed. About that time Miguel walked up and asked me if everything was ok. After explaining everything from the vehicle not looking good to the employee who wanted to argue with me. Miguel immediately stepped in and took charge and told me my vehicle would not leave until it's truly ready. He did it too. Finally after almost 3 hours after telling me it was ready I was satisfied with what I feel should have been done the first time and pulled out of their lot around 4:45-4:50. Miguel and the lady writing wash tickets truly made me feel heard and seen when it came to my vehicle. Had they not I would have been demanding a refund. Thank you both for actually taking time out of your extremely busy day to make sure I left satisfied. I know it was a busy and hot day however I want both of y'all to know that it did not go unnoticed. I noticed both of y'all's professionalism, caring and respect. I came to this car wash for the first time today. I got a car wash with glean wash and tire, cleaning and air freshener. This is a full service car wash, which is nice. They clean both the inside and the outside of your car. It's a little expensive, I got an inexpensive car wash and it was $31. They do offer a club membership where you can have discounted car washes for a monthly fee. They have an outside sitting area with a soda machine. They have a store inside where you can buy greeting cards and touristy type things. Ultimately, They did a fine job. Outside of my car looked good. The inside of my car was just ok, could've been better. I can see dirt on the console and the rugs could've been vacuumed more thoroughly. They were fast, I was there 15-20 minutes. I've been coming to this Round Rock location for probably more than 20 years. I hate to do reviews like this because I've really never had an issue before until today other than today. It's literally been perfectly fine. The issue today is purely the person behind the counter, taking money. Came in, got taken care of immediately out in the pre-wash bay. Once I came inside, lady asked me for my name. I gave it to her. She had a sour look on her face so I started trying to just chitchat with her to see if I could get her to smile. She never would just looked like she was mad at the world and didn't wanna be here. So I got a free 3-month membership moving into our new house here. I was not sure what the business model was going to be so the first time we went I was not prepared to get out of the car and wait for them to take it through the wash and then detail it and do all of the things essentially full service. I do wish that you can look at the car as it goes through the car wash but I took kids with me the first time and they got a little impatient so I went back again and it was okay and the reason I'm saying this is that I really enjoy the full service that you get everybody working there was really nice really friendly. The facility that you wait in is really good and they also have little things you can buy. However, they just do not do a very good job on the inside with the detailing and cleaning. In my opinion they didn't catch everything when they were vacuuming and also they didn't just do a good job cleaning like the inside doors as well as the other surfaces with the detailing spray. Also my chairs. I mean when I go in to do a wash myself, I do all of that and I say it probably takes me about 30 minutes so I wouldn't expect them to do the same. But the memberships are not cheap and if you pay for a full service detailing I would expect them to kind of have this process down Pat a little bit more. So I would say for me it's not worth it to buy a membership, but I also didn't really bring my concerns to management as I knew that it just wasn't a good business model for me to continue with. It was my first time to The Wash Tub but had heard great things about it. I took my truck there after heavy use from a hunting trip and spent around $350 + tip to get it cleaned. They did great on the front of the vehicle, all the bugs were removed. But they missed several details I didn't notice until I got home. They did nothing with my truck bed. There was still a ton of dirt and grime. They didn't clean up the interior door handles. No products used on my tonneau cover, as you could see a difference between what was visible and not visible when extending it out. They also failed to clean out any of my cup holders. I think if you're spending over $300 on a cleaning it had better be clean. Likely won't be back. I would expect a checklist of items to ensure quality when you make that kind of spend so you delight your customer. Certainly didn't happen on my truck. read more

I used to have a membership and they did great I bought the ultra package today and had a bad experience , when I got in the truck to leave I saw water all over the hood and wind shield , looked inside , the floor mats had not been cleaned and trash was on the floor board , I got out and asked the lead to come look at the truck and his reaction was ( did we miss a spot ) I showed him the water all over the truck and the parts they did not armor all and he said the parts they didnt armor all was debatable , basically they ran thru the wash and armor all the tires , Last time for me read more

Brought my Toyota Seqouia here asked for everything. 2 hours later after paying $477 dollars, they finally started the detail portion. I;ve been here since 11:30 am it is now 3:15 pm. They claim to be done in the next 15 minutes. How on good God's name do they or can they actually be done full wax, clay bar, tires/ wheels etc to be actually done in 1.5 hours of actual work. you've got to be kidding me. it wasnt until i mentioned the roof that they just now started that. well... 1 hour later for $477 dollars. The shop on 79 is good. Since the one on 620 closed I assume the waiting time is much longer now than before. Once you are in the service is good and efficient. I have not had to have the work redone which was the case multiple times at the one on 620. The basic wash is perfect to keep my car super clean. when I went in to get my truck cleaner I was told 78$ and about a 2 hour wait time. 6 hours later I went to pick it up and I couldn't take my truck with out paying 763$. not once was I told I would be paying that much until it was time to pay. the whole time I was under the impression I would pay 78$ because that's the only price I was told I would pay. We got a detailed cleaning so our turn around time was about 45 minutes. Not too bad! They have outdoor patio seating or a waiting lobby inside. I personally think the prices were fair and they did a great job. I do wish they would've asked or let us know ahead of time about them not vacuuming the trunk unless requested. I have witnessed these interactions a number of times and been very impressed. Everyone is professional, friendly and welcoming. The price is fair. One time, I foolishly got my car washed & then took it to get its inspection, where it was parked for 2 minutes under a distressed oak tree, so I took it back right away to get it re-washed and because of their 48 hour guarantee, they did it for FREE and the cashier, sweet Stephanie, was the one who told me about it and insisted I not pay again. If I can give it a 0 I would. If you pay for a detail is because you get it cleaned up. My car still had crums that just tells that they didn't bother vacuuming it right, my seats felt dry they did not shampoo my seats and manager said because they dont have a steamer so whats the point. I had previously said it they did a good job i woukd tip i obviously didnt. I had my car worst condition and car left better condition but place I used to go dont do shampoo no more. I took my car here after having a road trip with kids... You know how messy it can be... And decided to have them do it instead of my kids and myself for once. When I got in my car I was in disbelief of how little was cleaned up. I could've ran by a self serve car wash and had this done 15 times better and the amount of time that they spent on my car. I do not recommend this place to anyone! It's sad because the wash tub used to be the place! To top it off they knocked something loose and my tail light/blinker/brake light is not working after I left here. I had two people stopped me to let me know after we noticed the blank are going crazy. My husband got home and settled with it and got it working again but they definitely were careless! read more
