First, the hours of operation are incredibly unclear. I've shown up three different times after 8 a.m., and each time they were either still closed or appeared to be. On top of that, traffic on Elston is always heavy at that time, so backing into the lot is both dangerous and stressful. Still, I kept trying to give them a chance because they're close to home and on my way to work. Today was only the second time I actually managed to get a wash -- and it confirmed I won't be back. I arrived around 8:40 a.m. and was glad to see they were open. There were two cars ahead of me -- one being washed and the other, after 5-10 minutes, was moved outside (possibly a neighbor's or employee's car). After waiting 20-30 minutes, I got my car back -- and instantly regretted spending money on their premium wash. Here's what I got for $25: * Streaks all over the windows * Fingerprints left on the radio and dashboard * The trunk wasn't vacuumed at all * Side mirrors were smeared and looked like they were wiped with a dirty towel * No tire shine * Lint and residue everywhere inside There's so much more that was supposed to be included with the premium wash -- it's all listed clearly on their signs. I just can't recall everything right now, and I regret not taking pictures of the signs to show just how much was missing. The waiting area was cold and uncomfortable, and I was seriously considering their unlimited membership ($69.95/month I t), but I'm so relieved I didn't sign up -- that would've been a total waste of money. I have had black cars before and none had the deep gloss of my GV60 with Gtechniq Crystal Serum. The finish repels water and dirt. Super easy to clean and then dry with a leaf blower. Like RainX, the coating on the windows sheds water with little need for wipers. What I was very pleasantly surprised by is how effective the ceramic tinting of windows and windshield turned out. It is not just hype. This stuff really blocks the heat. If you hate getting into a hot car in the summer, this is your solution. I was suspicious of putting it on the windshield, but the ceramic tint does not impair visibility in any way and blocks the infrared as advertised. To comply with Chicago regulations I did 50% on the front windows. Once again blocks the heat but not the view along with sufficient privacy when viewed from the exterior. I skimmed their Facebook page initially, but finally decided to give Carlos a call after seeing that Moyaho had a few reviews on Yelp. I use Yelp regularly so I felt more comfortable hiring him after seeing that other people had positive experiences with him. Initially, I sent a message to the Moyaho business account via Facebook, but eventually I ended up speaking to Carlos by phone. I told him I wanted an interior detail and a basic exterior wash. He explained what the service would entail and the costs associated with each. After speaking with Carlos I decided to hire him. He seemed affable and exuded good energy. Carlos followed up via text confirming the time and cost of the service the night before the appointment. The next morning he called to ask if he could come earlier than our initially scheduled appointment. I'd told him that I was still working from home so I assume he figured I'd have no objections. I met Carlos and his colleague upon arrival once they'd pulled up in the driveway. I mentioned a couple areas that he might find troublesome and Carlos assured me that he'd do his best to get everything as clean as possible. I have light colored seats and Carlos made me aware that there could be yellow spots that form once the area is cleaned. Honestly, I wasn't expecting them to be miracle workers. My car was really dirty so anything they did would be a much needed improvement. They worked for about two hours before finally calling to say that they were finished. Carlos pointed out everything they'd done and surprisingly they'd gotten the car nearly spotless! They really did a great job! I am more than satisfied with how the car turned out. Growing up my grandfather always washed my car. I can honestly say my car hasn't been this clean since he passed away ten years ago. The interior detail was $145 + $10 for the headlight restoration and $25 for the basic exterior wash. I paid via Zelle (which was very convenient) and tipped both gentleman $20 for their hard work. Unfortunately, all I got was a lift the work performed did not reflect what was discussed. The majority of the requested suspension components were not addressed. Existing bushings were left in place, and my passenger-side splash guard was removed and never reinstalled. Communication throughout the process was poor. I was never contacted to review the scope of work, confirm parts being used, or approve any changes. I had to repeatedly call for updates, and even then, the information provided was vague and inconsistent. At no point was there any transparency regarding what parts were installed or why certain items were not replaced. Additionally, tires were installed, yet the tire pressure warning light remains on, raising further concerns about the completeness of the service. Upon pickup, the final cost exceeded the original quote without prior discussion or approval. No walkthrough of the work was provided -- I was simply asked to pay and given the keys. Given that suspension work directly impacts vehicle safety, this level of service, communication, and execution is unacceptable. I cannot recommend A Trendz based on this experience.

I was told the DRL installation could be done, and at no point was I informed that the shop lacked experience with this type of work or was unsure of the proper installation process. After several hours, I was told the DRL kit was "not the correct fit." After contacting the manufacturer directly, it was confirmed that the kit is the correct and only compatible option for my vehicle and that the installation requires specialized headlight work. It became clear the shop did not know how to perform this installation, yet instead of communicating that professionally upfront, they attempted the job anyway. During the badge replacement, no photos were taken of the original OEM silver badges to ensure correct placement, spacing, or alignment before installing the aftermarket black badges. As a result, the black M60i badges were installed crooked and spaced too closely together, which is unacceptable from a professional shop. Additionally, because the front bumper was removed during the attempted DRL installation, I later noticed a paint chip on the driver-side front bumper panel near the headlight seam. This damage was not present prior to my visit. If a shop is not experienced with specialized installations, the professional course of action is to clearly communicate that and decline the job--not to proceed without proper knowledge or preparation. Between the lack of transparency, poor execution, and resulting damage, this experience fell well below an acceptable standard of professionalism.
