I've been told I'm a demanding customer and maybe that's true but I expect an OCD-type attention to detail, especially when paying for vehicular detailing services. I baby my vehicles and my vintage Harley in particular. The leather saddlebags had been baked by the sun and were getting dry and faded, the front of the bike hadn't been polished for some time and it was overdue for a spa day. I contacted Detail King Express and spoke to Zach who told me he applies a true, long-lasting ceramic finish using an airbrush which allows him to get into inaccessible places. That made a lot of sense to me and since my Road King Classic has considerable hard-to-reach chrome on her...this seemed like the best approach. I dropped my bike and left it for a day. I wish I taken before and after photos to share with you...the transformation was amazing. Places that were looking permanently damaged had been restored to look brand new with a heavy investment in elbow grease. If you ride then you know those chrome spots on the front of your motorcycle that take a beating. It was so perfect it looked like new chrome parts had been installed. I hadn't expected some of these areas to be restorable and when I saw it I was just blown away. My ole bike looked like it had just rolled off the assembly line. I searched for something to point out...to say "Uhhhh...what's the story here?" I'm always able to find a missed spot. I couldn't this time. Every inch of my HD was perfect. She received OCD-type attention. The chrome had a mirror finish, the paint looked wet, the tires looked brand new, my seat and saddlebags were flawless...my motorcycle was stunning. They took the time to remove the saddlebags and windshield so they could completely clean, polish and ceramicize every inch of the bike. They deserve ten stars. They have done the same to my Ram truck, my wife's Infiniti and my Bentley. The cars come back looking like they were just painted and the paint is still wet. My Bentley is now so slick it takes two people to put the car cover on her cuz it just slides off! If you want OCD-serious attention to detail then you need to give Detail King Express a try. I hired Detail King because they were the first to respond and I liked the guy on the phone. Very upbeat and articulate. When he showed up I was a bit surprised at his youth. He told me he had moved from the Bay area and started this business on his own. I give a lot of kudos for kids starting their own company and living self supported and not out of their parents wallet. When you spend $390 on a "top notch" detail, you expect your windows to be cleaned as well. The paint correction, interior detailing, and customer service were great. However, 3 of my windows (rear included) have smears and we're clearly not given a second glance nor a solid amount of attention. If the detailing was $200, I would not complain.
