LOOK NO FURTHER: This place Rocks! I was super excited to meet Lucas and John, they're very responsive and professional. They were slammed but they still managed to get my Tesla in by the end of the week and finish it lighting fast! They sent me a competitive quote and I was able to make an appointment for Friday. They even helped me by doing a small detail and wash. Score! Relic uses XPEL film for window tinting, the best on the market and it gives 97% heat reduction. Tesla has a lot of glass and it was hot in my car. In order to show their customers what the different films feel like, they have an AMAZING heat lamp / film DEMONSTRATION in their showroom. It shows you exactly how much heat you feel from the different films, (using heat lamps) and how they are affected by each tint film, measured in percentages. You put your hand in front of the heat lamp, (it's hot) then they slide each percentage of heat resistant films across the heat lamp to show you how each tint film cools and responds to heat. Some films are much cooler in front of the heat lamp then others. You choose what percentage of cooling you want. After the demo I chose the 97% cooling film no question. It comes in different colors and darknesses. With their help I chose clear UV film for the windshield and rear view glass, then I chose a 20% darkness UV film for the top and side windows so they would all match. The car looks impressive and the "coolness" factor was felt immediately. It was 98 degrees outside and 80 inside my car, Yea! They are authentic and cared for my car like it was their own. I can see why this business has 5 star reviews, my car looks so good and I am another happy customer. Clearly it was done by an outside hire because a year after we bought the car it bubbled up like crazy on the back window. At first it was just a cosmetic issue but then it got to be a visual one. I was having a lot of blur when looking back. At night it was dangerous. During rain or fog I had no vision out of that window. The junky tint got the best of us. I have a brand new black car. It is a replacement of my last black car that wasn't even a year old. I had my previous car ceramic coated at a shop and it was awoken $1200. I decided against going back to them to do my new car for a few reasons. 1. They had to keep my car for 3 days. 2. When my car was finished it didn't look any different in any way. 3. They left polishing "dust"all over all the cracks and crevices. I had to take it back for them to remove. 4. It didn't seem to have any of the qualities I was told it would have. It didn't repel water in any way. It wasn't any easier to keep clean. And it didn't prevent swirl marks. I found these guys from a local Facebook group someone had recommended. I read reviews. I was reluctant to trust my expensive car to someone but it needed to be done. My car looks glossier! It actually repels water! I have driven in the rain numerous times and my car is barely dirty. I think he ceramic coated more than just the paint. Also I should have had him do my matte rims as he suggested, but I didn't. I will probably go back and have that done. He also tinted my windows to match the rest. Perfection. Last car I had to return to the guy because of air bubbles. I've already suggested a friend get her black car coated by him.
