I had the BEST experience at Jim's Auto Detail in Federal Way! I have a 10-year-old SUV that I…read morehadn't driven in five years. I had loaned it to a friend, who used the sunroof, and unfortunately, a clogged drain caused water to leak into the vehicle. Over the years, mold, mildew, and a terrible odor built up inside. I took the SUV to a repair shop and was given an estimate of over $10,000 to fix it. I was ready to throw my hands up and buy a new car when a friend recommended Jim's Auto Detail. I decided to give them a try, and I'm SO glad I did! I took the time to fix the clogged drain myself, which turned out to be a relatively inexpensive fix, and then Jim's worked their magic. In less than 48 hours, my SUV looked brand new! There was no mold, no mildew, and absolutely no lingering odor. It was sparkling clean--honestly, no one would ever know that this vehicle had been sitting in that condition for five years. The employees were honest, professional, and incredibly helpful, and their prices were EXCELLENT. Thanks to Jim's, I didn't need to buy a new car, and I couldn't be happier with the results. I will definitely be a customer for life and highly recommend Jim's Auto Detail to anyone who wants quality work, fair pricing, and people you can trust!

Today, I went to Jim's Detail Shop to get a machine polish for my car…read more I was told that the polish would remove the water spots on both the paint and the glass. The service cost me $200. However, after the polishing was done, I noticed that the water spots were still clearly visible. I'm not sure if they even properly polished the car, as the entire process took only about an hour for the whole vehicle. I'm very disappointed, and I feel like I did not get the service I paid for.

Owner Mike V., whom we spoke with regarding the damage to our vehicle, was extremely rude…read morethroughout the entire interaction. From the very beginning, his tone made it clear he had no intention of taking responsibility. His attitude came across as, "We didn't do it--and if you think we did, prove it." After doing everything they asked of us--bringing the vehicle in, allowing them to take photos, and providing the exact date and time we went through the car wash--they still never contacted us. We were the ones who had to call them. When they did respond, it was dismissive and unhelpful. Mike insisted that their car wash does not damage vehicles, yet in the same conversation admitted there is no 100% guarantee that damage couldn't occur. The contradiction alone was frustrating, but his disrespectful and defensive attitude made the situation far worse. He showed zero willingness to help, investigate further, or even acknowledge our concerns. As a business owner, even if you believe the customer is wrong, professionalism and empathy should still be the standard. Instead, he escalated the situation and made us feel as though we were trying to take advantage of them, which was insulting and completely unnecessary
