I was looking around for a detailer and Michael got back to me super quickly! He's very transparent about his prices. I don't know much about cars so I asked Michael to let me know what my car would need and he did exactly that, I ended up getting a full interior/exterior + clay bar. On May 21, I sent a quote request on yelp for a car wash and detail for several cars. Although I didn't send the inquiry specifically to Detail360, I got a call from Michael about five minutes later. I had a pleasant conversation with him and he said he would come out to my home and wash my 3 cars for $50 per vehicle. The appointment he made was for this last Wednesday at 9am. Everything seemed good until I received a text from him about ONE HOUR before he was supposed to show up to wash the cars stating he needed to reschedule and telling me a story about how his pressure washer got stolen from his storage unit and that he had to wait for a manager to come in at 9am to make a police report. He apologized for the inconvenience and said he'd "make it up to me". It's been 4 days and I have not heard from him at all since that text. I do not expect to hear from him at this point. I am not sure why he wouldn't follow up when I see all these glowing five-star yelp reviews about how wonderful the communication is. What is particularly upsetting was that both my daughter and I took that morning off of work and rescheduled our day to be home to accommodate this car wash. Obviously, I don't know what actually happened, but I have a feeling that he underbid the job and decided it wasn't worth his time. Clearly he is continuing to wash other cars since two more five-star yelp reviews popped up in the last 24 hours. Bummer for him, since he missed out on what could have been a pretty nice little account with ongoing business. Moving on now... I did want to add that after I posted this review, I did receive a text from Michael saying he forgot to get back to me and he apologized, so at least that. read more
