I have been consigning here for maybe ten years or so, beginning with the previous (maybe original?) owner. From day one - the owner, manager, and staff have all been professional, fair, and helpful. The store has an abundance of clothing and accessories from cocktail dresses to denim to workout gear. They pay on time and are very responsive. To see a review complaining about the shop being closed and giving a one star review is wildly unfair. The owner is a delightful woman - if you have an issue, I would recommend you speak to her about it rather than write a knee-jerk, damaging review. I have worked with many consignment shops in both San Diego and Los Angeles and not all service is at the level of Carolyn's. This is a great place to consign and shop. And they, unlike other businesses - have never once asked me to write a review. But here I am! Shop! Consign! Trust me.

I wish I remembered her name because she was so great! She offered to scan my foot (which I thought might be a gimmick) but it turned out to be surprisingly informative. Using the scan results, she brought out three shoe options and carefully observed my stride as I tried each one. Together we narrowed it down to the perfect pair based on both her observations and my comfort. I hadn't planned on buying new shoes today, but there was zero pressure. I recently purchased De Soto's Skin Cooler Face Mask and am very happy with the purchase. Who would…read morehave thought that wearing a face mask would be mandated now, but here we are! The Skin Cooler Face Mask is not only functional but comfortable! The material is soft on the skin, yet there are multiple layers to protect you. I also feel more protected by being able to put a filter in the pocket. An N95 mask actually fits in here so would allow you to reuse an old N95 along with this mask. The ability to tie the mask multiple ways also makes it more comfortable to wear and ensure a secure fit. My husband and I both really like this mask since it fits both of our different face sizes comfortably. The mask is machine washable so you can wear it mulitple times. Others have asked where we've purchased our masks from and we really recommend De Soto. Ordering online was very easy and shipping didn't take long. We really are satisfied with our purchase and am glad that we can support a local San Diego business during this time.
